The market is big covering a large landscape. There are stalls and yet people on the road displaying their wares and articles for sale. Many hawk around carrying their goods on the head, on their hands or on a wheelbarrow. Here is a good place to buy foodstuffs and properly some home utensils and clothes. Foodstuffs stood out amongst all they sell in the market ranging from vegetables, grains, tubers and fruits Varieties of spices are sold in this market. I actually came to my usual customer to buy seeds like pumpkin seeds , chai seeds, flax seeds and ginger. There is a wholesale pharmacy at the location tricycles load Igando passengers. Plastic bottles for cosmetics, drinks are sold there too. You won't be able to cover the whole market in a day.

It's a very rowdy place and it's very easy to get lost if you're not accustomed to the area. But it is a link to many other routes and easy to navigate if you're used to it

Very rowdy market, although there are well placed shops and complexes, there are loads of stores who display their items on the roads, as well as small kiosks owners who not only display their items on the roads but sit by their goods thereby obstructing the easy movement of people. The good part is that food items are cheaper to get in the market, clothes too are cheaper to get, there are agent shops, tailors plus many other vendors too, and right from the heart of the Market, it is easy to get transportation to wherever you want to go.

Always crowded. Even as early as 6:00am you'd see people already going about with their business. Goat meat, cow meat, fresh tomatoes, fresh pepper, anything you can think of is sold at this market.

Ikotun Market, coupled with its interstate and intrastate bus park, stands as a multifaceted commercial hub. The market itself provides a diverse array of goods, catering to both wholesale and retail needs. The inclusion of a bus park facilitates convenient transportation, enhancing accessibility for both local and long-distance commuters. Navigating through this dynamic marketplace is met with the hum of activity, creating a lively atmosphere. However, it's advisable to brace for the intricacies of both shopping and navigating transportation in this bustling locale.

The reason why this place gets 5 starts from me is because I just like the fact that when I get here I can get anything I want to get. From bags to shoes to food ingredients to clothes to hair accessories and so much more. I’m serious. I really love me some one stop place.

Things are very expensive for this season, probably because of Festive season. Buy your stuff before Xmas eve and New year eve to avoid higher cost of goods
