Really great authentic pie. Loved the crusts texture. It's wasn't too thick or thin and very crispy

The pizza was delicious. The wide variety of pizza flavors did make this place stand out. The timing of the order was spot on. Waited exactly what they said it would take. Would recommend ordering ahead of time.

Wow! Our experience at Pizzeria Luigi in IB was absolutely awful. The level of customer service we received was undoubtedly one of the worst. Last night from the moment we walked in, it was clear that something was off. The lady behind the counter had an extremely rude demeanor. Even after my sister-in-law completed our order, I politely asked the cashier to confirm the total, as the menu on the wall displayed a different price. Shockingly, she completely ignored me, which was incredibly frustrating. Eventually, my sister-in-law paid for our meal, but my concern was left unanswered. I decided to approach the cashier once more, hoping for a simple acknowledgment of my question. Instead, she curtly replied that the price discrepancy was due to toppings. It would have been helpful if the signage was clearer and more consistent. However, this interaction was just the tip of the iceberg. After patiently waiting for our pizza and wings, my brother politely approached the counter, wearing a smile, and inquired about the status of our wings. To our astonishment, the same lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and disdainfully replied that they would come out when they were ready. The way she spoke to him was downright disrespectful. To make matters worse, we later discovered that our wings had been left sitting in a to-go bag on top of the reheating oven for an extended period. But the nightmare didn't end there. After finishing our meal, my brother went to the restroom to wash his hands. When he requested the key, an employee informed him that if the restrooms were locked, they were in use. Understanding the situation, he patiently waited. However, when one of the restrooms became available, my brother gestured to keep the door open, so it wouldn't close immediately. Shockingly, an employee from the kitchen slammed the door shut and yelled at him, claiming that the restroom was for women only. It was a complete overreaction, and there were much better ways for her to handle the situation professionally. And believe it or not, there's more. This was actually my third visit to this restaurant since moving here, and unfortunately, I must say that the font counter rudeness has been a recurring issue. Additionally, on two separate occasions, I witnessed a fly walking around on top of a pizza in the display case. This lack of cleanliness and attention to detail is simply unacceptable. It truly baffles me why this restaurant has so many positive reviews. While I must admit that the food itself is good, the behavior and attitude of the staff overshadow any positive aspects. It's disheartening to see such potential wasted due to the consistently rude service.

Pizza here is so good! You can order by the slice or a whole pie. Many selections of good pizzas. My personal favs are the Fresh prince and the Crime scene. You have to get there early to enjoy the delicious garlic knots 😋 they also have very good wings and salad! Wide beer selection. The staff is very friendly! Sometimes the have live music or activities out on the patio. Don't have anything bad to say. Great pizza joint!

Got the large peperoni pizza, it was alittle burnt on the bottom but decent, the wings were good, I would go back for the wings.

Overall experience below par. The lady that answered the phone and took my order effing rudest person I have ever experienced over the phone. If you don't like your job by all means please quit so that the people that do enjoy the establishment can have a pleasant experience and enjoy the food. If management is accepting of this behavior then please change your name to Luigi's-Rude Pizzeria. Then I would be OK with the service received. Much better places to get pizza from without the rudeness.

Loved the Margarita pizza 🍕. Great spot in Imperial Beach to get pizza. They also sell beer and wine. The pizza is thin crust and very tasty. I always recommend this place if you just want a slice or if you want the whole pie! Plenty of outdoor sitting and great location.

I came here for the rating. Upon receiving my pizza I was taken aback when the cashier was surprised to see a “good pie” in the box. After taking it back to my RV, my wife and I were very displeased with the rock hard consistency of the crust. It tasted very salty for being a regular cheese pizza….. maybe the pasta is better?

Nice little beach side pizza spot that has a great value for their happy hour. I Eat here often and have never had any issues. The people who work here are always enjoyable, especially after they hit the joint in the back. Everyone looks like they are an orphan or wants to be one. But that just plays right along with the character of the place, which says "hey let's grab some beers with some zahhh bro" right before you get back on your board and hit the waves. All round 10 outta 10 recommend this spot. 👌

Best NY style pizza I've had in San Diego area. Space is small inside but plenty of space outside for seating. Atmosphere is very whole in the wall but the pies for the price can't be beat.

Usually never in this area but went to the beach and we needed a place to feed a group. Just found this place on Google and glad we did. Great pizza we all loved it very much. The crust was thinner and crispy, very delicious. Ordered the Mona Lisa and Capone. Both were very good, very fresh. Loved all the seating outside too. Would definitely go here again.

Floppy pizza, thin, and soggy. Overall great flavors. Dough had decent taste, tomatoe sauce had a great Basil flavor, and cheese had decent taste. Great local spot but not the kind of pizza you'd drive 10 miles for.

When I moved here from New York City over 15 years ago I was upset about the pizza that I found here until I found this Gem of a restaurant but it was a different Luigi's. It turns out that the Stars aligned and Luigi's ended up building another location around the corner from my house and this is the one I give the five stars to along with the others because it's the way Pizza is supposed to be. They have multiple selections of types of pizza. I suggest you try the crime scene Pizza pie. It's one of my favorite and unique only to Luigi's. If you like deep dish don't go because it doesn't belong. LOL

Large thin crust and crispy pizzas. Gourmet. But also satisfies the later nate greasy pie craving. Takeout service was as expected. Did a call ahead and timing was just right.

This place took the customer that used to eat Seacoast Pizza. Miss that place but Luigi’s is great also. Love coming for a quick slice at Luigi’s. They had a couple flys running around the pizzas in the window but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right? Still, I love this place and will keep coming back.

Hands down the best pizza in San Diego! I have been obsessed with Pizzeria Luigi since I moved here 7 years ago. Being from the East Coast (Philly area) I can tell you that this place is the closest thing in Southern California. Nate who runs the front of the house is such a boss! He is my favorite person to see when I walk through the doors. Also, the women Chefs in the back kick a$$ too. I love watching them toss the pizza dough around and just handle business as online orders pour through. This place has been on DDD with Guy Fieri so it's not like they need this shout out, but I had to share how much I love this place! And appreciate them. Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer - this place is always welcoming and an overall chill place to hang out at.....thanks Pizzeria Luigi!

Waited an hour for two pies gave us one wrong pizza. And one of the pies had the toppings on the side. I get it there busy but come on. IB location

One of the best pizza places in So-Cal. You can get pizza by the slice, and plenty more on their menu. The only downside is the most common occurrence in the food industry, and that’s supply and demand. These guys are popular, so they may run out of your favorites. On the plus side, it’ll give you a chance to try the other options on the menu, like those mouthwatering wings.

A wide variety of Delicious toppings on a great thin crust! I was super happy they have such a nice selection of slices, because I couldn't make up my mind which pie to try. Really close to the beach, too!

Pretty good food. I enjoyed the overall experience here. I ordered a bar food pizza which was essentially a loaded potato skin pizza. We added Buffalo sauce and bleu cheese to ours. It was alright. The pesto and ricotta pizza was excellent. Our reheated pizza slice was good except for the slight burn on the crust. I would recommend this place.

BEST. PIZZA. EVER. They have 3 locations, this one is my favorite due to the proximity of the beach. You want slobs of ricotta, or pesto drizzled all over your ZA? Don't miss out on this gem.

Loved it! Staff is tons of fun and great place to eat and chill or even just hang out ( has plenty of seating outside ) will definitely make this a to go place when visiting imperial beach! Pizza is great and cant go wrong with $3 a slice for New York style pizza.

Increadable thin crust pizza. The dough is thin and crispy. Should be eaten fresh out of the oven for maximum enjoyment. Nice selection of local beers.

Very wide variety of slices and drinks to choose from. We all ordered different slices and a whole pizza. Pretty good and happy we were able to stop by to try it out.

They're supposedly authentic NY style pizza. It tastes pretty good, but not as good as some people described. That's just my personal opinion, but they're definitely a notch above average. I would definitely recommend trying it out, u can't go wrong for $3 per slice regardless of choices. I'm more of a Round Table kinda guy.
