Visited the university during my trip to Hyderabad. It’s also known as UoH. Noticed it is a great place for learning and research. It has exceptionally high quality faculty. The university offers wide range of academic courses. The university has collaboration with highly reputed national international institutions on a global scale. Observed various class room buildings, hostels and faculty building are scatter in a large area full of trees. In some locations of the university, when we walk on the roads, we get a feeling as walking in a forest. It’s so full of big old trees. I love this university.

One of the top rated university in india. Best university in Hyderabad. There are some communal issues but not disturb the university name. I tried the admission for the masters but unfortunately not happened. Full greenery we can achieve whatever we want this environment.

Lovely University campus with proper faculty and Lab equipments aslo availability of modern infrastructure is installed here. Good ambience of harmony among students , teachers are very approachable, but there are some issues of partiality towards local students yet overall it's a wholesome University to provide a knowledge enthusiast to build their life to fullest of their capabilities. Also there is problem of snakes in hostel premises and the campus as well.

An Institute of Eminence. One of the finest place to study in India. Closing Rank for 5 Year Integrated M. Tech (CS) is around 16,000 approx. At IIIT Gwalior, closing rank for 5 Year IPG M. Tech is around 13,000 approx. Also, Hyderbad is a better city wrt Gwalior. Hyderabad has offices of major CS Organisations too.

The university campus on 2300-odd acres, has a large area under forest cover, with two perennial and three seasonal lakes, as well as rock formations characteristic of the Deccan. It is home to 734 plant, 10 mammal, 15 reptile and 220 bird species (at last count). Notable animals include spotted deer, hares, peacocks, porcupines and wild boar. The campus also has a protected megalithic site. A study, which ranged over three decades (1990–2010), reported that of the plants present on campus, 315 species were used in traditional Indian medicine. 39 species of plants belong to the group that face the threat of extinction. These listings were the result of field studies done on campus by students and faculty members. The university has plans to preserve area under forest cover and wetlands by creating a bio reserve. The university is primarily a post-graduate research university. UoH conducts its own entrance examinations for all courses during the months of May–June each year and interviews in the month of May annually. The university offers integrated M.Sc., M.A., MFA, M.Tech., M.B.A, M.C.A., MPhil and PhD degrees. Admissions to UoH are highly competitive. The university follows the positive-discrimination reservation system as per University Grants Commission of India guidelines.

I recently visited University of Hyderabad and was impressed by its beautiful and serene ambiance. The campus was well-maintained and had a variety of modern facilities. The professors were knowledgeable and approachable. The student community was diverse and friendly. The university also had a great variety of extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs. The library resources were also very good. Overall, I had a great experience and I would highly recommend University of Hyderabad to anyone considering higher education in Hyderabad.

The Golden Threshold campus near Nampally was a beacon of higher learning in the late 1970s and 1980s. Gone and quite forgotten today. A poor tribute to the Nightingale of India. Darkling I listen. . . but all I now see is the cruel destruction of "monuments of unageing intellect". Alas!!!
