I got a Cajun chicken sandwich that was pretty tasty. The fries were good. The waiter even made me a mixture of coke and sprite since they didn't have ginger ale. Partner got the shepherd's pie and thought it was okay, nothing amazing.

Fantastic beer selection. A delicious burger. And some of the best service I've seen in awhile. It was a gem of a spot and I can't wait until our next visit to gencon to come here again.

Got our food to go, bacon burger, French onion soup, and a club sandwich. The soup and sandwich were crazy good, rich flavor and quality ingredients. Burger was alright, the onion ring on the burger was the hero with its breading which leads me to believe it’s their fried food that is tier 1. They did forget our fries and substituted for an additional cole slaw. Overall definitely a cool atmosphere when I picked up so next time will dine in.

Andrew was our waiter and there was only one other wait staff. He stayed on top of our table, including everyone else’s! The food was great. It came out quick and hot. Thank you for a great dinner experience. In a climate with horrible wait staff, Andrew was awesome.

Don't go here for British food - the beer selection and other drink options were great, The service was great. I am sure that the ambiance will be great for watching a soccer game... But the food was only almost okay / almost edible. Nice onion rings!

Stopped in after the Colts game to enjoy some French Onion soup and my friend enjoyed the fish and chips. Great place to hang out and watch a game. I give the soup (my favorite always) 3+ stars out of 5. But please don't serve a tea spoon, wash a soup spoon next time, It was hard to manage. The server was very friendly 👌😊

This establishment is extremely warm during summer. I love fish and chips, but something seemed off about the fish. It was VERY fishy, to the point that I couldn't eat it. The fries were good. Service was okay. Thanks for reading my review. Have a great day!

I grew up coming to Red Lion frequently with my family. I have lots of great memories here. Food is consistent, comforting, and the staff are always very on top of it. Owner is very nice as well. It is a fun place with a relaxing vibe. Elephant ear is amazing and reminds me of being little.

The fish and chips and chili were very good. Everyone in our group liked their food choice. One person in our group mentioned that the Scotch egg was good (from their last visit). Great beer selection. The Guinness was poured well and some great IPAs!

Okay, we visited this place on a hump day afternoon. Super chill and cozy. Definitely my kind of LBC (Laid Back Cadillac) atmosphere. The service from Jenna was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Ordered the famous Fish & Chips and an order of Scotch eggs. Overall pretty good. No complaints.

OMG!!! Love it! Great burgers. Had the Fish and Chips this last time. It's crazy to think that frying food could be done so well, but the fish was perfect. Hot and flaky and nicely crunchy on the outside. Ohh....and Scotch Egg is wonderful!!!

Came here tonight with a group of friends. As soon as we walk in the bartender says we close in a hour. It was 845 and closing time is listed as 10. I asked if she could still serve us dinner and she said sure. However, the whole time we were in there she is rolling her eye whenever anyone asked for something, she’s slamming beer on our table, one asks for a small plate for their fries, he gets ignored. Two of our meals were brunt. She locks the door and shuts the open sign off at 915 & calls last call at 930. Other people come in at 930 she screams we are closed. If you don’t want to work your scheduled hours, please go home! For our first time here, it was a very unwelcoming bartender. Will not return!

Not bad. The food was good and well but not overly seasoned. Fish and Chips was good but you can tell based on the color of the chips it was well used fry oil so that was a low point. Also had Shepherds Pie and it was supposed to be made with roast but it was clearly ground beef. Tasted good though.

Coming from Philadelphia, St.Louis, and Chicago I had very high expectations. Red Lion is a true pub and I am beyond impressed. Pubs are about community and social gathering, and there is a rare combination of people, place, food, drink, and friends that give a pub its soul. Red Lion has soul in spades. It might not be an Irish pub, but it's a pub that is definitely part of this community and worth every second you spend in it.

Great place to have a meal and a drink, always an interesting beer on draft for just about anyone. The curry fries make a very good snack to pair with a stout or porter. *BEWARE planning on going on trivia night, if you do there likely won't be a place to sit. If you are alone though perhaps you can snag a seat at the bar.

Freaking fabulous! Came in for lunch, I had the Buffalo Burger, it was hot and juicy. But the fries, ohh the fries! Those fries are something to die for, hot, crunchy, soft in the middle and a course salt added to the delightful experience! Super great atmosphere, I like how the lighting isn’t super bright, it just makes you feel comfortable.

Amazing fish and chips! The fries taste home made and the mozzarella sticks were the absolute best! Only thing I didn't love was the shepherds pie, but everything else was so good it made up for it. Oh, salad was amazing too

This was my first visit to Red Lion, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I had the steak and chips. The steak was cooked to order, and came with a very tasty horseradish dip. I added the grilled onions and mushrooms, and it was a good choice. The restaurant was welcoming, and the service was prompt and courteous. My drink was never empty, and our food was brought out quickly.

havent been here in years no live music no fun atmosphere like 7 years ago like a funeral home very dirty tables food was bad broccoli cold food lukewarm and no ice no wine no frosted glasses the waiter literally lied to us as he was very hyper to begin with that he had to leave and cash out only for us to discover he never left?! also the waitress that was in his section kept coming over to our table like 5x when we were just sitting enjoying the night DK NOT GO HERE BAD FOOD TERRIBLE SERVICE and nothing like it used to be such a shame and PLASTIC PLATES like we were 5🙄get some real dishes!!!

We celebrated a birthday here. Great food and amazing service from the one and only server. He was fun and upbeat the entire time even though there were 7 of us on top of having most of the tables filled. We will definitely be back!

Our server tonight was super awesome and accommodating of my special needs sister in-law. Awesome staff and great food! Can't wait to go back! Grilled cheese, pickle Fries, fish n chips & chicken tenders were all solid!

Walked in and it was empty. Not usually a good sign. Though it was later at night and the bartender said a lot of people had just left. She recommended the Shepard's pie and it was honestly amazing. Really unassuming little place. But staff was great and gave me recommendations for other good Indy places, food was delicious, and draft list was great. Definitely stop in if you get a chance.

Quality food with different selections such as portobello mushroom sandwich and scotch eggs both were excellent! Large adult beverage selection. Offer beer flights which I love to taste different beers. I recommend the black cherry cider! Had a good experience...service was great.

Incredible bets on tap and the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The elephant ear was state fair worthy. Staff was great and very accommodating.

Won't be going back. Manager Jeff is an insult to food management. Despite his alleged years in industry he has no clue how to properly manage. Lost a local repeat customer this evening. More sophisticated people need to be put in management positions. Our server was very nice and the food was well prepared. Shame the manager ruined the experience.

Incredible staff. Only 2 staff running things during dinner rush is insane. At minimum they need a full time bar tender during the rush to take some pressure of the two gentlemen that were busting their tails. Trivia on Thursdays is great!

We hadn't been here in years, place was just dirty and old, especially the floors. We should have just left but ordered drinks and chicken wings as an appetizer. The chicken wings are pre cooked and than they dump gooey sauce on them, terrible. After that we decided to eat dinner elsewhere. But our waiter was great.
