I was so excited to stay at the Conrad Indianapolis. The raving reviews and the amazing online photos of the rooms, I couldn't wait to check in. WARNING... The rooms shown are NOT what we received and they were not offered... they only have "4" of them. I was extremely disappointed with our room considering the price we paid. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There is art on every wall and you could spend hours just walking the floors and admiring the sculptures. The capital grille is adjacent to the lobby and then you have the establishment Tastings to the other side of the lobby. Now staff... impeccable. So polite. Opened car doors, entrance doors.. in the age of covid, this is a service sorely missed. THEY HAVE ROOM SERVICE!!!! Most hotels have cancelled this.. I was so excited to have breakfast delivered. Their orange juice was amazing! I was not impressed with their breakfast potatoes. Something so simple, but like most establishments, the deep fry squares of potatoes into lifeless, tasteless, overcooked, under seasoned little rocks. If the rooms pictured are available, get them. The staff will win you over if you stay. Service above and beyond.

The Conrad hotel was fantastic. The service upon arrival was great. The local was perfect for out trip. We had a wonderful view of Circle Center. The pool was warm. The hot tub was spacious. Rooms were clean & comfortable. They had an old time feel with rich woods and leather.

We had an issue after we checked in and got up to our room- our keys were not working. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and we were escorted to our new room to ensure that we were able to get in. A few hours later, we were getting cleaned up for dinner and the housekeeper walked in on us. She apologized and quickly left the roomā€¦ not sure how that happened. The hotel is a little outdated for a 5 star, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Conrad downtown Indy is beautiful from the moment you walk into the door. It is clearly a ā€œvintageā€ style hotel with small modern updates in the rooms such as the bathroom. The valet guys were very kind and informative! The front desk woman was named Lovely, and her name fits her to a T. She was very kind. The bed was comfortable and the robes and slippers were a great touch. My boyfriend loved the bath tub because itā€™s deep enough for him to fit šŸ˜‚. My only issue was when we went to the wine tasting room and the waitress/bartender was great when we walked in, but then after we got sat I asked if they had a certain product, they went to find out for sure. We waited ten min while they went over and started ā€œbullshittingā€ with the other bartenders rather than coming and letting us know about the product and getting our order. We were the only ones there, so this was uncalled for. We left with out purchasing anything or trying anything.

Absolutely loved this hotel, it is a true 5 star hotel. All of their staff especially the valet, I didnā€™t get the name of the one who helped us, were all so nice and accommodating. Itā€™s within walking distance to everything downtown. The hotel is clean and well taken care of, we will be back!

We've stayed here twice now and we do enjoy it. The customer service is great. The rooms are always exceptionally clean. The beds are very comfortable a well. It is not a modern vibe at all so if that is your thing, this is not the place. The location is ready to find, I definitely suggest utilizing valet to park. But then you can walk downtown. You're in a great area where shopping and dining is abundant in all directions for about 2 blocks. As well as you're right by the mall.

The Conrad is in the perfect location, in the heart of Downtown Indy, for a business trip or leisurely visit. My wife and I had a great stay for a couples weekend away. Unfortunately, their valet service ruined the trip. The valet employees, themselves, provided fantastic service - they were kind, responsive, and courteous the entire stay. Their management, on the other hand, was rude and unhelpful after reaching out to them regarding an issue (that remains unresolved). When my wife and I returned home (weā€™re two hours away in Fort Wayne), we found our key fob for our car was broken. We have a newer car, 2018 Honda Odyssey, that requires only a push start. For some reason, our key portion of the fob was separately from the fob enclosure - the key falls right out and doesnā€™t lock in. Without the key inside the fob, our car will not start and since it falls right out, it can easily be lost and strand my wife and two young kids. Our key fob is brand new (we just got it replaced from the dealership for $800). My hunch is the key was dropped by one of the valets or the valet thought they needed to use the key to unlock the car. Regardless, the key was working perfectly before we visited the Conrad, and not itā€™s broken and we have to pay $800 to replace it. Generally, Iā€™m congenial when it comes to issues like this. As a business owner, I understand stuff happens and itā€™s a blessing to even have good staff to service valet or hotels like The Conrad. My real issue is with the valet management, which I understand is a contractor of hotel and not The Conrad staff itself (who were amazing by the way). When I brought up this issue (I called the manager directly), they blamed me for the broken key and said there was no way we can prove it was valetā€™s fault. The manager didnā€™t believe me when I said a brand new key fob programmed by the a Honda dealership costs $800. They did offer reimbursement for the valet fee itself (which I appreciated), but in exchange for ā€œclosing the caseā€ as if $54 can make up for the $800 plus the incorrect way they handled the situation - I wasnā€™t ready to negotiate a deal like that (also, why do I have to negotiate deals with a hotel!). The managerā€™s tone was rude and accusatory, and what was a small issue became a prideful debate - which is not at all what I expect what the nicest hotel in Indianapolis, let alone any business in the hospitality industry. The issue was escalated to the valetā€™s upper management, but remains unresolved. No contact or further effort has been made by The Conrad and Iā€™m still waiting for a return call from anyone. All this say, I DO indeed recommend staying at The Conrad hotel itself. Itā€™s location is prime, right by great restaurants like St. Elmoā€™s; the rooms are nice (depending on your style); and the hotel staff and service is top-knock. I do NOT recommend using the valet service. Avoid the issues my wife and I are going through if you can. There are parking garages a short walk away. For me, Iā€™m going to avoid and steer my corporate clients away from The Conrad until this issue is resolved.

We had an amazing stay at the Conrad. Everything was top notch, from the robes and slippers, to the pool, hot tub and steam room in the locker rooms. Little things like plenty of bottled water and some extra coffee pods felt like an added bonus. The staff was so kind and helpful and the hotel was beautiful and our room was so comfortable. Room service was excellent! We hope to be back.

This hotel is amazing. They have the little touches that let you know you are in a luxury place. The spa was amazing. I spent an extra hour enjoying the use of the stream room/ sauna, whirlpool and pool. Conveniently located near lots of restaurants.

All hotels should aspire to have the level of service to that this hotel does. From the valet, to check in, to room service and the housekeepers, I felt welcomed and appreciated as a guest. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the gym was on point. I ordered breakfast and it was delivered timely. There was a delivery fee and a service fee, but it was well worth it for what I received. Iā€™ve stayed at other hotels in Indianapolis, however I will be staying here go forward for both business and leisure. You wonā€™t be disappointed.

The best part was the valet guy, John b, protect him at all costs! Room was not the cleanest and they put me in a double room instead of a king and couldnā€™t move me cause they were full. 5 star prices, 2 star feel.

John the valet was awesome and needs a raise. The lady at the front kept repeating herself and not listening to what I was saying. I booked online with a discount but didnā€™t have the proper documentation with me for the discount. She did not offer me any type of discount. She gave me a total for one night when I was staying two nights and would not tell me how much the extras for incidentals was. The total she gave was $100 more than my two nights stay online. She informed me there would be an early check in time fee. After someone else told me itā€™s after two that should be fine, she said who told you that I directed my eyes towards who told me and she said well then you need to let him check you in then. Very unprofessional. I was never able to get in the whirlpool it was broke numerous times while I was there. On our last morning the pool was locked. I wanted one more relaxing time in the pool. But couldnā€™t very frustrating.

Not sure (In my opinion) this is a 5 star hotel! The lobby and public rooms are lovely but the bedrooms are a little dated. On arrival, after 24 hrs of travelling I threw back the covers to get into bed (for some much needed rest) and was faced with stains on the bed sheet. I immediately called reception and it took over 30 minutes to get resolved. Which basically consisted of a maid coming to our room and handing me a clean sheet. She said it had taken so long due to a shift change. But really! Thatā€™s not good enough. So, after 24 hours of travel I also got to make up my own bed. The towels in the room were changed regularly but the bath/shower mat was not, and after a couple of days it was a bit wet and smelly. Housekeeping was also a bit hit and miss. Some days I would return to our room in the afternoon and the room would still not have been made up. But most disappointing was the Spa. It is lovely. The staff were very nice and Danielle was especially wonderful, going the extra mile. But the pool and hot tub were ā€˜unavailableā€™ for 2 of the 4 days we were at the hotel. The staff informed me it was for water treatment!!! But I have stayed in lots of hotels with pools and spaā€™s and usually this work is carried out during the hours the spa is closed. As we booked the hotel for the ā€˜facilitiesā€™ as well as location, it was disappointing not to be able to use them. However, the staff were great and are a credit to the hotel. Everyone from the valet, concierge, front of house, to the spa team were all friendly and extremely helpful.

I stayed at the Conrad Hotel for a week in October 2023. The hotel is in a central location in downtown Indianapolis and it was connected to other buildings in the area via a skybridge, which made going to the convention center very easy. The room was clean and quiet. I did experience an issue with the electronic lock on my room door (the battery died), but THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT and the problem was immediately fixed by staff members. The Hilton app was super as I was able to select the room I wanted using a map, it allowed me to check-in and check-out without visiting the front desk, and I was able to download an electronic key that I could use throughout the hotel.

My 10-year-old son and I stayed at the Conrad for a fun overnight trip to Indianapolis, and everything far exceeded what we could have imagined for our visit! The hotel is absolutely stunning and even smells amazing as you enter! We were immediately greeted by Dalton at the front desk, who was so wonderful and engaging. He immediately matched my son's energy and enthusiasm for being in "the fanciest hotel we have ever stepped foot into!" He made the whole experience even more magical and joyful. We had the most relaxing and delightful stay, soaking up every bit of luxury from the robes and slippers to the turndown service with chocolates. We couldn't have had a more lovely time or been treated with more hospitality! Thank you to the amazing staff at the Conrad hotel for creating an experience we will always remember! ---Dina & Henry

Outstanding. The hotel is centrally located, which is a plus. Top notch service from the valet to the front desk. Greg gave wonderful recommendations on places to visit during your stay in Indy. We'll be back when in town.

Took a road trip across the country. Chose to stay here because I really needed a good night's rest and a very comfortable bed. Conrad's never disappoint. They treated my kids and I like royalty. For no apparent reason at all they gave us a free upgrade. This is by far my favorite Hilton Brand I used to stay at these with somebody very special. And I'm glad that I was shown the brand. We didn't get the club level because we weren't going to be able to truly enjoy it with the short time that we had here but we surely loved our room. Not sure when I'll ever be in Indianapolis again but if I ever am this is where I'm going to stay.

I love the Conrad. The hotel smells amazing as soon as you walk in, it is connected to the Convention Center and the mall, and is very central to all the downtown Indy attractions. The service is unmatched, with flawless rooms, hallways and housekeeping service. There is turndown service complete with pillow chocolates and ice in your ice bucket. Awesome!

One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. Every employee encountered, from valet to general manager and everyone in between professional, friendly and efficient. Conference facilities excellent. Highly recommended.

The property is beautiful and most room amenities were excellent. Valet (both arrival and departure) as well as members of management were very hospitable and helpful with baggage. All staff members who we encountered during our stay were professional and kind. The spa and its staff are incredible - we had an amazing time relaxing and getting treatments. My only concern is that our reservation initially wasn't found (amended date with central reservations hadn't been updated in system) and, once corrected, we were put into a room that couldn't accommodate a rollaway, something that had been assured at the time of booking. The double bed rooms are literally that - doubles, not queens (although beds are quite comfortable) - and this particular one couldn't accommodate all three of us comfortably. I inquired at the desk but the front desk agent was unable to move us to a king with pull-out sofa. I ended up securing a second room and the agent did her best to reduce the rate, however it was still over $200 base + tax for the night. Given the fact we'd been promised a room that should have accommodated two beds plus a rollaway, it's a bit aggrevating that we ended up needing a second room. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

This was a beautiful hotel that was centrally located in downtown. The staff was very welcoming, nice and professional. The valet attendants and bellmen were very responsive and helpful. We were specifically serviced by Tjay, Illy and two other gentleman, but Iā€™m blanking on their names at this moment. We picked a high floor room; the room was very clean, had a nice view and was definitely giving luxury vibes. I would definitely stay here again. If I come back I would want to try the restaurant, pool and spa service. We had a short stay so we didnā€™t get to take advantage of the previous. If I had to say one not so good thing about the hotel it would be that one piece of the tub was not functioning properly and the digital key was not as seamless to use/user friendly. Note: 1. This hotel is right in the heart of downtown; itā€™s busy with people and traffic so have patience and be aware. 2. Just valet your car; looking for parking and paying elsewhere is not with the hassle. 3. Make sure you try Skyline Club and/or Cafe Patachou. 4. And walk the canal.

They had some system issues during our stay. It took a very long time to get checked in. We were unable to access the room in time to get ready for our dinner reservations. They did offer to let us use the locker room on the 6th floor though. We had asked for extra pillows when we booked the reservation. We didnā€™t get them. I didnā€™t bring this up with the staff. They were already having a rough day due to the system issues so I didnā€™t want to bring up another thing for them. The room was nice. We loved the bathroom. The bed was ok. Our backs were sore the next morning, but everything else was nice. I think this would have been a 5-star review if the system had been working properly. The staff did the best they could given the circumstances.

My husband and I stayed one night for my birthday on February 7th. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was great and upgraded our room for us. I gave 4 stars for the room because the bathrooms look like they need the floors re-done and the soaking tubs should be jetted in my opinion. I gave 4 stars for the location because of the lack of parking and having to pay for parking in the parking garage on the block behind the building. I also think that the hot tub and pool area should be available until 11pm or midnight for guests.

I had a great stay here. Very clean and impeccable customer service. I stopped a worker named Jason who was probably in middle of doing something but he had a great attitude while he helped me get ice AND get some clean dishes too. I donā€™t know when Iā€™ll be in Indy again but I would 100% stay here. Also it feels very safe with security watching out in the lobby.

I was recently in Indy and scheduled a last minute spa appointment. I was booked with April for a massage. BEST MASSAGE EVER!! I would highly recommend her and would go back to her again if I lived there. She was professional and intentional with her practice. I left my massage appointment feeling refreshed and relaxed. The rest of the spa facilities were lovely as well.

Very nice hotel and the paintings was a nice touch. The Atlanta Falcons stayed in the hotel. The restaurant capital hill was awesome. Close to to football and basketball stadiums. Connected to the mall across the street was nice. Stayed in room 1808 nice Christmas view of the circle. Had a great experience.

From the moment we arrived, it was an amazing experience. Every person that we interacted with made sure that we felt welcomed, appreciated and valued. They have done a great job with employing only those individuals who have a customer centric mindset. So happy with our stay and would definitely return

Always have a great stay at the Conrad. The staff is super helpful and rooms are comfortable. I will suggest that they need to consider some lighting upgrades in the baths as the compact fluorescent mirror lights and makeup mirror light are DIM and new LED fixtures would make a world of difference. Too dark to shave/apply makeup and see details.

Wowā€¦just wow. Where do I begin? Arrived at the hotel to see a bunch of sports cars sitting blocking the valet section. Pull up, get out of the car and not a single person comes up to help us. Everyone is too concerned about the cars. Finally a valet noticed us, ran up, and starts driving the car away as we are pulling things out of the trunk. Had to scream at him to stop. Get inside, go up to the counter, and thereā€™s one person in front of us. Front desk calls over a bellhop and has him carry the guests bag. We get up to the front, and even though we had more bags, no one helped us. Hilton had upgraded our room for our anniversary, but I have to say it wasnā€™t much of an upgrade. We were given a room with a tub that didnā€™t work at all. Tried turning on the water and nothing happened. Opted to take a shower, but the handle was broken as well so the shower was scalding hot. I ended up getting heat stroke from a broken shower. Staff didnā€™t help at all or care. And the street noise is unbearable! We had numerous noise machines going just to drown out some of the noise so we could sleep. We ended up leaving and going to a Marriott property. Iā€™ll never stay here again. This hotel is barely passable for 2 stars.

Customer service (other than housekeeping) was phenomenal. Front desk staff and valet service were top notch. The hotel itself is clean, but the rooms are outdated for being a 5 star hotel. The hotel is located close to most attractions and connects directly to the mall. We had to request to have our room cleaned twice. We returned to a room with a half made bed and no vacuuming.

We had a wonderful stay. Dalton, the manager at the front arranged everything for us and was very helpful. He and the rest of the staff were so friendly! The Conrad was great for meeting up with friends and having a couples spa day.
