21 day quarantine. Not worth your money for a deluxe room. Please try another hotel if you can. Had no option but to stay here due to my work. Food is inedible in my opinion however there are some grocery and food delivery options around but can get expensive if you order everyday and has limited options as it is in the airport.. I’m surprised a hotel can pass feeding this food to people. It is worse than airplane food.. Depending on your room there there may be some mold or leaky ceilings so look around once you arrive to make sure and call out if you see anything.. On the bright side, the staff here is very attentive with decent sized rooms. View and sunlight varies depending on your room that you cannot choose.

Large room compared to other quarantine hotels. I had the chinese meal and I am not fussy so found it nice but more like your mum's home cooking than professional. That was the good points. The bad include the hotel ignoring calls, emails and whatsapp messages. The room is cold even with the air conditioning on and I end up sleeping with clothes on to fall asleep. I have tried to contact concierge, house keeping, front desk and general manager and they ignore everything. I understand once in a blue moon they may pick up the phone. This is not the customer service I would expect from a hotel priding themselves of their service. Update: hotel provided milk, duvet & extension lead after midnight by knocking on my door. Much appreciated.

14 day quarantine. One star is for the room size and another for the staff. The food is absolutely disgusting and they only provide a juice box with the food once per day for breakfast. I'm not sure how it's even legal to feed people this garbage. 2 times a week you get a fruit(1!) with your meal. You have to budget in at least another $200 per day on food delivery orders when you pick this hotel.

Clean , modern rooms . Attached to airport so you don’t have to walk outside. You do have to go through customs which wasn’t an issue. Quiet rooms & coffee & tea and water provided. Perfect place to stay for a longer layover. Easy enough to walk to the airport inside and to the train if you wanted to go to the city. Staff was helpful. Nice area to hang out in lobby if you need to after checkout.

My first time in a 5 star hotel! I stayed for 7 days for mandatory quarantine. It’s super convenient if you’re coming from a 12hr flight like I was as it’s just a 5 min walk from the airport! The staff are very polite and understanding! You get 10 bottles of water for your stay which lasted me the 7 days as I was boiling water as well! Breakfast came with a free drink. I had pescatarian option (fish + veg) and they ensured that I had fish everyday. It was a mix of chinese and european meals! Food was really nice! Their mini fridge is super cold and can keep anything at perfect cool temperature! My mother came up and brought me takeaway, fruits from my grandma and bread and it was delivered swiftly! They have a food service menu and the chips were so tasty! Mr Hiu was the manager during my stay and he provided excellent service, really warm and made the stay very positive! The room was huge and I had a nice view of outside! The staff make sure you’re looked after! They provided towels, slippers, toiletries and lots of spare white bags for trash and yellow trash bags for dirty towels/sheets! The shower pressure is SO GOOD! Honestly my new go-to hotel! I was a solo traveller so I had 2 twin beds which i pushed together and made a huge bed which was really fun! they give u an air purifier which is v powerful! Super clean and super refreshing room! The art in the rooms are really pretty too! They give you a cute certificate at the end of your stay which makes it really rewarding hehe, thank you so much to Mr Hiu & his team!☺️🥺🤍

It’s just right in the airport buildings, less than five minutes walk to the airport check in desk ,which is very convenient for people need to stay one night for flights transfer. The room is clean, I like the bed soft but firm. The lobby is spacious and beautiful quiet. I had a comfortable rest before my next day long way trip.

We could barely sleep here as the room was filled with cigarette smell. Even turning on an air purifier at maximum power couldn't help. The only good thing is the location but we will definitely look for other options next time.

Very convenient location to serve the mandatory 7 nights quarantine upon arrival. There is no need to wait for shuttle bus to hotel. Sample of the food served during quarantine shown in the pictures.

I recently stayed at Hong Kong Regal Airport hotel with a 7 night quarantine package. The hotel location was excellent because it is literally next to the airport which saved me a lot of travelling time after a long-haul flight followed by the long-winded HKSAR entry requirements due to COVID-19. The room was very spacious, clean, and the food was very tasty. I also want to say special thanks to the amazing staff who were extremely accommodating of my special food intolerance request which made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers to HK who require to be quarantined.

A comfortable enough quarantine stay. Deluxe room had a better view and improved menu, but I still found the food a bit average. Wifi is terrible, take a cable and connect to the port UNDER the desk as the wired internet is much more stable. Temperature control is terrible in the rooms, expect it to be too cold, or too hot. So make sure you have suitable clothing for both. I cleaned the air conditioning filter on arrival, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the carpet was dirty and needed a vacuum. Concierge is very hard to get hold of.

Stayed for 7-days-quarantine. Room was spacious, meeting the only reason I chose this hotel for a quarantine. Foods were OK. It was for quarantine. Supplies were served quick and properly. Drinking water was unlimited and WiFi was maintained good speed. It's quarantine! Oh, on the 3rd day, we obtained two pairs of customized sleepers. Lovely~!

Stayed here for a 2 week quarantine and I had a decent experience. First off, the hotel was in a very convenient location as it was right next to the airport and the price was fair. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. However, the food that was served started to get a bit repetitive after awhile and sometimes the breakfast portions were not enough. Either way, I had a good experience

Ok for an overnight stay at the airport due to great location. The hotel is more like 3 star + or 4 stars minus, and nowhere near 5 stars in service, food or rooms quality. Pricing is only justified by the airport. The food package is cheap and not even worth it. Do not plan a longer stay than one night. Go for much better and cheaper 4-stars hotels downtown.

The rooms were recently renovated from before and the standard and qualify has been quite pleasant. Staff are very helpful especially with allowing one airport trolley to be held in the room for a short stay. I highly recommend booking a night or two here before your flight if you're travelling from far as it connects to the airport so transfer is super easy.

The location is supreme since it’s only 5min walking to the teminal 1. I was not very impressed by the room and its cleanliness. There was air con noise coming from the ceiling and bathroom. Carpet wasn’t clean. Overall, I feel like spending $300 staying this kind of room is a bit overpriced.

Old, outdated, and poorly maintained property. Like many other reviews, the ONLY scoring point for this hotel is the proximity to the airport. And they know about it and take it for granted!! If you must stay close to the airport, or need a layover but can carry your bags, go to Novotel or 2 other properties in the area, offering the same free shuttles and also close to the airport. At least they are newer properties. Too bad they didn't spend the last 3 covid years upgrading and renovating the hotel. I think this hotel gives a wrong impression about HK to visitors - so sad! Btw it cost HK$10/US$1.5 to print ONE sheet of paper 😡 . To highlight the "hold you by the balls" policy, it costs only HK$1 for a plastic bag in HK!

As a quarantine hotel it is good. No idea what if it is not a quarantine hotel. The room is in good size unlike prison cell. Hygiene is very okay. Nothing wrong so far. Food is not Michelin star quality but no one should expect that level of quality while you would not have the mood and environment to enjoy it. Just eat and get on with it. Service is good & no complaint. They delivery quarantine food, food panda, bubble tea to your door. They also delivery general supplies to your door as well, e.g. towers, bin liner, etc…

Ideal for those days when you find yourself sleep-deprived and facing a daunting 10-hour connection wait for your next overnight flight. Though locating the hotel wasn't as straightforward as I anticipated, it's no surprise given my exhaustion from being awake for over 24 hours. Once on the right path, the check-in process was a breeze, and I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff member. They ensured that we were well-informed about the room's location, Wi-Fi access, and check-out time. Though I only needed the hotel for a brief 10-hour respite, I must say the overnight stay was worth it. The bed provided much-needed comfort, and the room itself was remarkably spacious compared to other accommodations I've experienced in Hong Kong. The shower experience was delightful, albeit with a minor inconvenience of the screen not fully containing the water within the bathroom floor. When it was time to check out, the process was as simple as dropping the key cards into the express box. We strolled back into the airport, feeling refreshed and ready for our next journey. Would I consider staying there again? Absolutely, without a doubt. This hotel proved to be a sanctuary during a demanding travel experience, and I would gladly choose it for future layovers or stopovers.

Stayed here for 7day quarantine at deluxe room. Spacious and clean room with open view to the airport terminal. Checked in past 2pm and was provided with a late lunch. The food was still warm and tastes good! Pros: spacious room size; food quality (different menus between standard and deluxe); friendly, prompt and responsive customer service. Cons: nothing, unless you like food delivery since it does not have many choices in the airport.

Don't choose this hotel for your quarantine stay. Not going to bother to talk about food or services. They charge you for the most essential thing in life, WATER. And the tiny bottle water is $5 per bottle. They want you to boil water from the tap. At least provide us some water filter if you want the guest to boil their water. WATER IS BASIC HUMAN RIGHT!

Good location. Room is nice as well. Not sure about in room dining but it's in the airport do there are options there as well. Gym is decent too. They have a shuttle that goes to the outlet mall nearby and the airport has the airport express that teaches the city in 25 minutes.

Really convenient if you have a late arrival or early departure. The hotel is accessible from the airport terminal so easy to transport luggage on a trolley. My room was huge and will equipped. I had a drink in the bar downstairs and the server was polite and didn't seem to mind I arrived late in the evening. Saved a lot of hassle. Will stay here again.

Excellent location and 10 mins walk from the Hong Kong Airport. Many restaurants inside to choose from. I was given a layover stay at this hotel. They have a nice swimming pool facility which is complementary.

Convenient, but otherwise a sad location. Carpet in the room smelled bad, coffee table was broken, dust and stains everywhere. Breakfast buffet was unpleasant. Will taxi to another hotel next time.

Day use - 800hkd + 10% for 10 hours use. Hotel room smells clean and nice, pools (2), gym, herb garden, children playground are great. First floor bar has happy hours, wine and beer are buy one get one free. Overall a pleasant stay before a midnight flight .

Just a 7 minute internal walk into Departures this is a great place for a layover. The hotel public area is really impressive, set over 3 layers with a choice of restaurants and seated areas. Our room was fantastic - large, clean, comfortable & carpeted and with a sofa. Good bathroom with toothbrushes supplied. Definitely recommend.

I was using this hotel mainly for a 1 night transit in Hong Kong. The location is exceptional, and all my interactions with the staff from check-in to express check-out were excellent. There were a couple of issues I had with my room. When entering the room, there was a mild water/damp smell, but after a minute, it was gone. Later on the next day, I could hear dripping and observed a leak between the inner and outer windows, also to note it was exceptionally rainy this day I was in Hong Kong. The other issue was this the bath drain being broken or at least the mechanism to operate it. I intend to inform the staff on checking out, but there were too many people waiting to check in. During my stay I had access to the Executive Club Room, this was a really nice area to relax and have a coffee and snack but, I found it disappointing that there was not staffed during open hours and at no point was the hot food or a beverage happy hours etc. These are something I've come to expect for executive lounges during my travels. Breakfast is very good but gets very busy during peak time. Spa, swimming pool steamroom all used and appreciated. Overall, I would stay here if l was transiting Hong Kong again but wouldn't book the Executive Club Deluxe Room until the service was upgraded. Thank you, Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong.

So I am reviewing this as a transit hotel as that was my experience of it. Reception was easy and I got checked in quick, staff were good it was just a bit of a walk from arrivals B to the hotel (though that isn’t their fault!) There was no overnight room service or food options and with everything else at the airport closed (I got in around midnight). Again not that big of a deal but it would have been nice to have had SOME option (I don’t know of many hotels let alone self described 5-star ones that don’t have at least a small selection of food and drinks through the night. When I got to the room it stank of stale and mold, so much so I actually gagged when I first walked in. The room is big but basic with very few power outlets and no charging outlets. I am very glad I was only here for a few hours, a longer stay here would have been soul crushing.

The buffet restaurant has a lot choices and the food was all presented nicely. Most of all, the food tasted good and really enjoyed the buffet dinner before my flight. David, the manager, was really helpful. He made sure our tolleys were safely put away. He was polite and make conversations with us. The price was also good value.

This hotel is straight attached to airport. So if you have long hours connecting flight, you can check in here. No required to use taxi or another transport. Just walk. The room is cozy enough, but the bathroom, the clog on the bathub is not working properly and no bidet on toilet. Wifi is fast, free complimentary water, air purifier in the room.

  • 4/5 hungrysheepie 1 year ago on Google
For a 5-star hotel, it is not exactly the most glam, BUT the location is convenient AF for travellers because it is the only hotel directly connected to the Hong Kong International Airport! At first glance upon arrival, it has an HSBC bank inside, and a Movenpick kioski for desserts and treats. We arrived at the airport 5am in the morning, and surprisingly we were able to check into the hotel AND got access to our room (instead of having to wait until the afternoon for the room to be ready). We were able to wheel our luggage to our room via airport luggage carts; you can return the carts downstairs. Our room was very spacious, with 2 queen beds, and lots of windows. The washroom was decent but dated. The only thing I dislike was the European open-styled, half curve of glass, where the water can splash out of the tub while you shower! Check out was extremely easy. You can just drop off the hotel key cards into a return box, no need to check out at the reception desk.

Definitely an older hotel, and you can see the aging of it in the rooms. Not to mention the cleanliness is questionable. With the water boiler not emptied as well as brown stains on the sheets. Service was alright tho, staff was quick to change the sheets and checking in was swift. The location is also unbeatable being connected to the airport.

    1. Too old facilities. There are bath tub. But couldn't use it. 2. The tap of bath room was broken I changed the room. But changed one was also same. 3. Food quality was not good. I had to order the delivery. 4. It was really difficult to get the respond related my asking. Some times they ignored my asking. 5. If you are man and stay here by business trip, it's no problem. But if you stay here with your family, you have to consider again.

By Hong Kong standards the room is huge with an awesome sea view, considering most apartments here are the size of a garage. The staff are awesome addressing guests' needs under strict Covid restriction protocols. Sadly, the meals provided under the mandatory quarantine protocols were simply horrible. It reflected the exact cuisine one gets when traveling within China. The nearby Sheraton offered Asian, Western and Europen choices daily.

It's all good for quarantine; super quiet, comfortable facilities with good water pressure, food not crazy but balanced at least, everything worked fine for me (wifi, aircon, etc). It also has a lot of rooms so easier to book. One issue was the pillows, they are packed into some plastic bags inside. I was disturbed by the noise so I removed the plastic bags, it stinks like hell! It's horrible, it stank the whole bed in just one night!! Anyway it wouldn't be fair to take stars off because of that, I shouldn't have touched them.

One of the worst hotels for quarantine. The food served was pathetic. Had asked for western breakfast lunch n dinner but was served food other than western food. Water quantity was insufficient. If you need more water was told to either purchase it or use tap water. The staff were really good.

We stayed there for 1 night due to our United Airlines radio issue. The buffet was so good. Hotel room was clean and well-maintained

I stayed at this hotel for the quarantine. The view helps! Food was decent, service good/average, cleanliness satisfactory. The only thing to be improved immediately is the WiFi — in my room, the signals appear to be fine but the speed was quite unstable. I relied on cellular data transmission for most of the meetings.

👍 Famed for being awarded one Michelin star between 2009 and 2019, the food was indeed delicious, having that distinctly HK taste. The shrimp wonton noodle soup was hearty and filling.
