TL/DR
-
part
of
the
deli's
space
transforms
into
a
wine
bar
during
weeknights
where
the
food
(in
our
case
-
cheese
and
sausages
platter
with
a
basket
of
bread
and
pastes
followed
by
pistachio
ice-cream)
and
wines
are
splendid,
the
service
is
great,
and
the
price
are
reasonable.
On
weeknights,
a
part
of
the
deli's
space
is
converted
into
a
wine
bar
currently
offering
a
daily
selection
of
wines
by
the
glass,
some
appetizers,
cheese/sausages/cheese
and
sausages
platters,
sandwiches,
and
deserts.
From
my
understanding,
this
is
quite
new
and
been
running
for
a
month
or
so.
We
had
the
cheese
and
sausages
platter
along
with
a
basket
of
bread
and
pastes
(see
the
photo,
sorry
about
the
quality).
Everything
was
great
-
especially
the
preserved
lemon,
truffle
paste,
and
hot
peppers.
The
platter
included
three
kinds
of
cheese
-
Brie,
pesto
Gouda,
and
another
hard
cheese
(can't
remember
which
one)
-
and
three
types
of
sausages
-
Salami,
Pastrami,
and
Schinken
-
all
of
very
good
quality
and
accompanied
by
walnuts
and
some
grapes.
Simply
delicious!
We
also
got
some
olives
(the
green
ones
were
superb)
and
a
tapa
of
fresh
pasta
with
baby
Shrimps
that
the
employees
just
made
for
themselves
for
dinner,
free
of
charge.
Everything
about
the
food
was
great,
not
a
single
bad
word.
We
drank
a
glass
of
Chablis,
which
was
really
superb,
and
a
glass
of
Chianti,
which
was
good
but
nowhere
as
good
as
the
Chablis.
For
desert
we
had
a
pistachio
ice
cream
which
was
very
delicious
as
well.
All
through
the
evening
the
service
was
great,
very
considerate
without
checking
too
often
on
whether
we
are
satisfied.
The
prices
are
also
reasonable
in
terms
of
value
for
money
-
all
in
all
(bread
and
pastes
baskets,
cheese
and
sausages
platter,
two
wines
glasses,
excluding
the
pasta
tapa
and
pistachio
ice-cream
for
which
we
weren't
charged
and
excl.
tip)
the
bill
was
178NIS.
The
platter
was
89NIS,
the
wines
were
less
than
40NIS
each,
the
bread
basket
was
less
than
20NIS,
if
memory
serves
me
right.
The
only
area
in
which
I
could
suggest
an
improvement
is
the
atmosphere
-
apart
from
the
music
(which
was
great
and
not
too
loud
most
of
the
time),
the
place
doesn't
really
feel
'wine-bar'-ish.
Even
simply
dimming
the
lights
within
the
space
of
the
bar
could
help
improve
that.
