Lovely little church! One of the best I have visited on my trip to Israel. Definitely worth a visit because you get to see not just the place where it is believed Jesus did his first miracle by turning water into wine at a Canaan wedding, but next to the main church door there is an entrance which takes you to some ruins. You can see how they might have lived and see some models of the jars that could have been used at the time of Jesus, in the same dimensions. Overall very nice!

What an experience having the opportunity to realize what it must have been like when Jesus turned water into wine with the miracle at the wedding in Cana. There was an opportunity for those that wanted to renew their wedding vows to do so in the group we were traveling with. You could let your mind go back to that time and imagine the jars being filled with water and what a blessing it would have been to witness the miracle of Jesus Christ.

One of the more important churches that we visited as part of our pilgrim. This is a Catholic church where couples were able to renew their wedding vows and officiated by a priest from our group. This is the same place where Jesus performed His first miracle by turning water into wine. Behind is the place where the water was drawn and turned into wine. Across is a souvenir shop that sells wedding wine, rosaries, magnets, etc.

This was a quick stop on our Holy Land tour, there was a wedding going on when we arrived, apparently that is quite frequent! It was interesting to see downstairs, the huge stone wine-storing vessel from the time of Jesus. Definitely a must-do while in Nazareth!

Eventhough I was not able to get inside the Church I felt the presence of Jesus miracles the changing of water into wine. God is full of surprises and wonders that is not visible in our human eyes but in the eyes of faith all things are possible. Thank you Lord.

This is group from Indonesia, Insight Tour as a one of the Best Holyland Tour for Indonesia Catholic group. As I walked through the doors of the Cana Wedding Church in Israel, I was struck by the sense of history and tradition that surrounded me. This was the very place where Jesus Christ performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful, and I felt a profound sense of awe as I looked around the church. The walls were adorned with beautiful religious art, and the stained glass windows cast a warm, colorful glow throughout the space. But it wasn't just the physical beauty of the church that moved me. As I stood in the very spot where Jesus had performed his miracle, I felt a deep sense of spirituality and connection to my faith. I was reminded of the power of belief and the miracles that can happen when we put our trust in God. Attending a wedding ceremony at the Cana Wedding Church was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was an honor to witness two people joining together in holy matrimony in a place that holds such significance in the Christian faith. I left the church feeling uplifted and inspired, with a renewed sense of faith and gratitude. The Cana Wedding Church is a truly special place, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to experience it firsthand.

The first miracle done by Jesus listening to His mother of turning water into wine. The Rev. Fr. Daya who accompanied our tour shared a beautiful preaching. Jesus never said either to fill the jars half, full or to the brim. What ever it was filled with he made wine which tasted better than any. Likewise we too should be entire to be fill his blessings to brim and over flowing

We brought our own priest for mass and renew wedding vow. The Franciscan was also nice and allow us to take pictures with him. There was also a good souvenir shop across the street better than the ones next to the highway.

The Church at Cana is the place where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine! The Modern Church is built on the site where it actually happened. There are stairs which lead you to the site on the left!! And one can see a wine jar there though not the real one but it is placed there to mark the location of the miracle and also one can see the ruins when they go down. If you take the right just after you enter the door the path leads you to a small chapel where couples can renew their vows and is something really wonderful to witness in person Since Cana is famous for the miracle that happened here! There's a shop outside the church entrance where you can buy church wine as well! Overall this place won't take you much time but is a good one to visit and witness the lord's journey!!

The place where Jesus performed the miracle of the wine, i.e. turning water into wine when he went to a wedding of a poor couple – Lies in the Arab village of Kafr Cana –Declared a holy place by the Pope in 17th century – A Catholic Church built in 1879 stands over it - Houses two stone jars believed to be the jars in which Jesus performed the miracle of the wine - Worthy to visit in Biblical and Historical perspective.

The new wine created by Jesus in this place reflects him coming into the world and the beginning of his ministry on earth! Praise God Alleluia!

Cana or Kfar Cana is the believed to be place where Jesus Christ shown his first miracle of turning water to wine in a marriage ceremony present with his mother. Now there are two places separated by road, one belonging to Greek Orthodox Church and another Roman Catholic. This is the Roman Catholic Church.

The first miracle of Jesus in Cana. Nice church and well maintained. Don’t expect too much on the quality of the wine, but worth to try it.

I went yesterday and there were some couples from Latin America who came to renovate their marriage. The mass was very emotional and see couples together after almost 50 years.
