I had high expectations before coming to Mamo. I must say that it exceeded my expectations and proven to be not only the best culinary option in Eilat, but one of the best in Israel. We were 7 diners (one 2 years old), we all enjoyed the food. Ordered almoat all of the menu and everything was between good to amazing.. Make sure to order the chopped fish with eggplant

Visiting Eilat after almost a decade we have not been around and we were looking for a fine dining. MAMO is a fresh place opened on May 2022, by a well experienced chef so we thought to give it a try. We arrived in, and ordered multiple dishes - Stuffed Zucchini, fish Carpaccio, stuffed fish dumplings in fish soup, steak and bread. We TRIED to order wine but surprisingly the daily printed wine list didn't have it (what a disappoinment). The food was good and well performed, we orders a second stuffed Zucchini since it was so REALLY good, and most things were super fine - BUT the steak was served cold (!). Although it was a good steak, cold food is never a recipe for success... We send it back and it was "heated". We expected a bit better attitude .... (And we actually said that the steak was a disappointing.... No one asked even why). We finished with the Deconstructed Lemon Pie which was superb. Book a table in advance, and be prepared if is a small off site location close to the central bus station. All in all - we had fun, but expected more on the service side.

Yum yum yum! Excellent food with even better staff, and awesome vibes. The food was not only fresh but also refreshing. The Chef, Ohad, built the perfect menu for a city like Eilat. They brought TLV to ELT. Everything tasted amazing. Can recommend to eat the fish carpaccio, Gnocchi, and the homemade bresoala. Our two year old enjoyed the potato crockets.

Middle eastern inspired and refreshing medium sized dishes, all with great sauces that are perfect with a side of bread.

We had an excellent dinner at Mamo. We were a party of seven and our waiter was very friendly. Food was excellent. All ingredients super fresh. Everything is fairly priced. I’d happily come here again.

The food was great. The service could be improved. We were sitting outside and we were a bit forgotten, we had to waive repeatedly to the waiters for them to come so that qe could ask for the bill/order

Mamo Restaurant is a bar and tapas restaurant with a perfectly arranged design: modern, sober and refined. You can breathe young and international atmosphere thanks to the presence of different cuisines, presentation styles and the staff working behind the bar and in the kitchen. Pasta, Tiramisù (as a good Italian, I must say it was delicious), fresh fish and traditional Israeli food… this restaurant in Eilat has something for everyone! Definitely recommended ✅

One of those meals which I will remember and talk about. We arrived at 18:55 (few minutes before opening), eager due to jet-lag. At 19:00 a solid contigent of savvy diners arrived right on the dot, so we knew something was up. We ordered six dishes between the three of us, and wondered if we had maybe overordered. Nope, by the end we scraped every plate clean and spent the whole time gushing to each other about the flavours! Table favourites for us were the grape salad & the grilled lamb salad. We also really enjoyed the unique special that day which was a prawn kebab & grapefruit combo, which the owner explained was devised to take advantage of quality grapefruits that were available. But like I said, we scraped every single dish clean. We duly forgot any ideas of wandering elsewhere for dessert and finished up with a lemon pie, which was served deconstructed and perfect for sharing. We had a chance to chat to the owner about some of the dishes and their genuine creative interest in food was apparent, with an emphasis on the experience of food as a way to connect with other places & cultures in the world. The restaurant seems very well run. I was sort of blown away how rapidly they were able to get our six dishes out, all simultaneous too. There is an English-language version of the menu and it is worth mentioning I think that it is very well written & detailed re. ingredients and cooking style. The serving staff helped us by speaking English too and did a good job. Pricing wise, this is a slightly upmarket price range, but more than worth it for a special meal. Before eating we thought, will this be worthwhile? After eating we thought: This is amazing and great value for a taste experience like this. Update: We returned two days later for the last Eilat dinner in our visit. To me that says it all, one doesn't usually go twice in three days!

The good: Outstanding service by all staff. Delicious starters like burrata and bruschetta with fresh fish and grilled eggplant. The bad: Grilled beef was full of fat, more than half of it was actually a fat, so this was disappointing. Potato ravioli were very average. For summery, definitely worth a visit, very nice restaurant in Eilat with good atmosphere and great service. P.S. Book a table in advance! There is zero chance to get a table in the same evening.

Recommended. I recommend on going with the sharing style that the waitresses are recommending. Try as many dishes as you can, they are small but very good. Good vibe music and awesome team. The cocktails are amazing. We will surely come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mamo restaurant in Eilat, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. We started our meal with the grape salad, which was a standout dish. Fresh and savory, it set the tone for the rest of the meal. We also enjoyed the sweet and hot pepper side dish and the bruschetta with crushed tomatoes and raw fish carpaccio. For the main courses, we opted for the purple calamari on the plancha with kalamata olives and concentrated yogurt, as well as the soft dumplings of chopped fish in grouper sauce with grilled tomatoes, mangold, and smoked chuma peppers. Both dishes were expertly prepared and full of flavor. We also appreciated the potato croquette side dish, which added another layer of flavor to the meal. In addition to the delicious food, Mamo also has a fantastic wine menu with a great selection of Portuguese wines. We had the pleasure of trying the Niepoort VV Vinhas Velhas wine with our meal and it was an excellent pairing. The wine complemented the flavors of the food perfectly and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Mamo. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The wine selection added an extra level of sophistication to the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Eilat.

Very nice Mediterranean restaurant. At my opinion this is easily in the top 5 list of restaurants in Eilat. The concept is to order lots of small dishes to the table and share them. So if you arrive in a group of 4 or more you will likely try most of the dishes. The staff is very nice and will likely give you an extra dish or two for free (bread to finish the souce).

I am rarely so impressed with a dining experience as I was with Mamo. Our waitress Giovanna was so friendly and helpful, and genuinely excited about the menu. Besides the excellent service and atmosphere, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, and commented on the freshness and quality of the food. We would probably come back to Eilat just to eat here again.

The food was amazing, we took several dishes: the bread with dips - crispy and delicious sourdough bread dips, the fish carpaccio that is wonderfully seasoned with nuts, grape salad with pecans a sweet and sour sauce, gnocchi in batter tomato sauce accompanied by cream, and a special dish of amazing asado puffs! For drinks the Lychee and Montongro cocktails. And for dessert we took Melbi with cherry jam, highly recommended. The service at the place is very good and plates are changed between servings.!!

Probably the most delicious food in Eilat, cool cocktails and wine, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. This was our last night in Eilat and this place was an amazing close to our vacation. Prices are pretty good, dishes are built for sharing and aren't too big but the flavor is so rich that you still fill up, can't recommend it enough!
