Özel Balat hastahanesinde 3 gün iki gece kaldim. Ameliyat gecirdim. Hemsiresinde hasta bakicisina kadar hepsi mükemmel insanlar. Mükemmel bi ilgi bakim yanimda gelen refakatci hic bir seye elini dahi sürdürmediler. Herseyle cok büyük özenle ilgilendiler. Hepsine cok cok tesekkür ediyorum. Allah kimseyi hastaneye düsürmesin ama düsüreceksekte böyle bi hastaneye böyle saglik calisanlarinin eline düsürsün.

ENT doctor Mehmet Sinan Oduncu is a very caring, competent doctor who listens to his patients and gives information. I was examined by him for loss of smell and nasal congestion related to my allergic rhinitis. The garden of the hospital is also small and pleasant, and it certainly does not give you the feeling of going to the hospital on the banks of the Golden Horn.

I ran away from the hospital after a long surgery.The night nurses have 0 respect for the patients.They way how they open and close the door(non stop for no reason)feed you,gossip next to you,talk loud like they are on a night out.This is supposed to be a private hospital.Please get some standard and train the nurses.

Rezalet bir kurum. Devlet hastanesinde bile daha kolay işiniz çözülür, zamanınıza yazık. Bakın hastayım diyorum, zor bela kendimi buraya attım diyorum. Kayıttaki arkadaş doktor yok diyor :D 45 dakika beklemeniz gerekiyor diyor :D Pizza siparişi mi alıyorsunuz :D

I went to the emergency room this evening, the doctor in the emergency room has a complete communication disability and works with an accusing approach to the patient who does not know how to speak. To my question, they know how to take 2000 TL, they treat patients as customers, but they cannot pay for the service in return. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Horrific place.. it shouldn't be called a hospital at first. Staff and people there are super nasty. They're all after your money. I've paid 2000tl to the Dr as a foreigner, and he couldn't even speak a word of English even tho he was in his 70s and was supposed to be professional. I translated all the problems I was having with my kidney to him by myself. He didn't even spend 5 min to do my ultrasonic exam and said he couldn't see anything and sent me to his friend Dr room. To that man, I paid again 2000tl, and he touched my stomach and said I dono what's inside, but do the scan again. I paid another 3500tl for the scan, and they said scan is also OK, and we don't know why you have the pain, etc. Can you believe that this ridiculous place where I paid 7500tl and I came out with just a 20tl lira tablet to use if I feel pain again???? What an absolute disgrace. The Dr attitude was horrible and seems like he just wanna be alone and doesn't want to receive a patient. And now I've the same pain again and they can't do anything about it. Luckily, I've found a better hospital, and I've gotten my treatment very well. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY FOREIGNER, why FOREIGNER because they prey on your money and cheat you with no treatment and nothing. Maybe this place is only suitable for their own locals. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Extremely rude and unpleasant staff and uneducated Drs

We stayed for 2 nights and everything was great. The kindness, interest and motivating approach of all the employees in the hospital were really good. The fact that the garden extends to the beach and is full of lush green plants gives peace of mind, as if we were in a 5-star hotel rather than a hospital :)

Profesyonel anlamda sağlık hizmeti nasıl verilir sorusuna en güzel yanıt kesinlikle ve tereddütsüz Özel Balat Hastanesi yanıtı verilir diye düşünüyorum. Doktorları, Hemşireleri ve diğer sağlık emekçileri ile tek dertleri gelen hasta misafirlerini en iyi şekilde ağırlamayı ilke edinmişler. Tüm çalışanlara göstermiş olduğu ilgi ve yakınlık için teşekkürler. Bu kadar yıl ayakta kalmayı başarmak tabii ki kalitelerini gösteriyor.

My girlfriend was operated on here by Dr onur sümer. It couldn't get any worse, how can you do an operation like that and the care from this hospital was a complete disaster, she had to keep calling because of the light in the hallway, the nurses were talking so loudly that you could hear everything, you weren't even offered water, you had to do that How to get it yourself from outside? What if you had a serious operation? Be happy if you are still alive after euro op with such care!! It's like a map thanks to Savran Clinic and Balat is not a hospital but a money eater 💰 because nurses don't care how patients are doing, don't do that to you people

Maalesef kötü sonuçlanan çok fazla anımız var bu hastanede. Yaklaşık 5 yıl evvel eşim pilonidal sinüs sebebiyle Dr. Bey’de ameliyat oldu. O dönem muayene sırasında yaşadığımız sorunları geçtim, bugün hala eşimin aynı problemi devam etmekte. Hiç bir zaman geçmedi. Boşuna ameliyat oldu aslında. Üstelik o dönem açık bıraktığı yarayı bir muayenemiz sırasında “isterseniz dikeyim” demesi de bizi şoka uğratmıştı. 11.06.2022 tarihinde Dr. Bey’in önerisi üzerine oğlumuzun her iki kulağına tüp takmak ve geniz etini almak suretiyle ameliyat ettirdik. (Öncesinde 1 sene boyunca kutu kutu antibiyotik ve bir sürü alerji ilacı kullandık) Bugün geldiğimiz noktada sürekli tekrarlayan (18.06.22-14.09.22-26.09.22-11.10.22-3.11.22-2.12-22-25.12.22-27.12.22-2.2.23- tarihlerinde toplam 9 kez KBB/orta kulak iltihaplanması şikayetiyle) kulak iltihaplanması devam etmekle beraber tüpler aşırı enfeksiyondan, kulak zarını da tahrip ederek; olması gereken zamandan daha erken düştü. Geldiğimiz bu noktada başka bir sürü daha doktora göstermemiz gerektiğine karar verdik ve bu kadar kısa sürede bu denli nüksetmenin mümkün olmadığı, ameliyat sırasında etin tamamının alınmadığı bilgisine ulaştık. Üstelik sürekli “alerjik bünyeli” olduğunu dile getirip bir dünya alerji ilacı ve spreyi yazar, muhakkak kullanmam gerektiğini söylerdi. Bugün başka bir hastanede deri ve kan olmak üzere her türlü alerji testini yaptırdığımız çocuğumuzun hiç bir alerjisi olmadığını da öğrendik. Ameliyat sonrası etmesi gereken muayene şeklini “neden yapmadınız?” sorumuza “çocuğun canı yanmasın diye” dedi. Bu yorumu yazdığım için de bizi dava edeceğini söyledi doktor bey. Dosyamızın incelenmesini istediğimiz başhekimlikten de hala geri dönüş yapılmadı. Tekrar aradığımda iletişim bilgilerimi aldılar geri dönüş yapacaklarını söylediler fakat ses seda yok. Pataloji sonuçlarımızı da alamıyoruz. Zaten sisteme de girmemişler. Tedbirli olmakta fayda var.

Karşılama danışma ve çalışan hemşire arkadaşlar kibar ilgili. Midemdeki rahatsızlık için Dr. Sadi rüştü vural ‘ a randevu aldım. Uslup sanki arkadaşıyla konuşuyormuş gibi. Hareketler tavırlar üst perdeden. Sorduğum bilmediğim ağrılarıma ters cevaplar. Muayne olmaya girdim girmemle çıkmam bir oldu parasınıda ödedim parası önemli değil hastalarınıza bu şekilde davranmazsınız. Şuan izmir özel batı hastanesinden yazıyorum işlemlerime bu burda devam ediyorum. Gidecek hastalara uyarımdır; rahatsızlığınızın üzerine birde gerilmemek için bu arkadaşla boş yere vakit kaybetmeyin.

It is the hospital that works with ENT doctor S***** S***** who lacks communication skills. A sarcasm in every sentence. He neither explains properly nor continues the conversation. The effort to send short answers is so obvious. I tell them about the medicines that I have been using for days and have not found any benefit, but they are prescribed the same medicines. It must be because he didn't listen. I walked out the door I entered to find healing, taking the same medicines as I had at home. 🙄

We were here this week for my father's surgery (urology). The surgery went well, he had almost no pain afterwards. Doctors, nurses, caregivers, we thank them all. They are caring and polite. Doctors care for the patient and make the necessary explanations patiently. The hospital is clean, quiet and the rooms are large and airy. The food is delicious and clean. Thank you very much to the entire team, including accounting. Don't worry about your hands.

I had an appointment at the dermatologist today. I went early at 14.45. While logging in for 30 minutes, I said I have an Ankara insurance supplement. He entered the system and looked and said that we did not have an agreement. They took refuge in excuses by saying that the password did not come and that it was not updated. I said yes, sit down and I'll help you. If you're going to help me, I asked why you asked for a fee just now, saying we don't have an agreement. Then, I couldn't manage the examination. Don't take me away for a procedure they would do. They asked for 11,000 thousand for crytherapy. Even if you were examined, they asked for the extra money, saying we don't have an agreement in these cases. They wrote the fees on paper My insurance covers everything up to my surgery, the amount he asked for for a tiny 5-minute procedure is 11,000 thousand. Now I called the insurance company again and explained the situation and told them to bill us. The hospital manager lady said we had no agreement and cut me off. I have never met such disgraceful people who have not had their share of humanity, from the management to the staff at the counter, my time was wasted and I wasted my money. damn they made me nervous

On January 7, 2024, I was examined at the orthopedic department with a complaint of back pain. Mr. Bülent said that he could see better with MRI. I said I was planning a pregnancy and I didn't know if there was a pregnancy or not. He said that the MRI was a magnetic field and that it would wipe out the cell and the pregnancy would definitely not occur. My wife and I trusted what the doctor said. And I had an MRI and also had 6 injections. After 15 days, severe nausea and smell sensitivity began to occur. We were shocked when we took the pregnancy test and saw the positive value. We immediately saw a gynecologist and I learned that I was 4 weeks pregnant. Such doctors please should not be on duty. Weeks did not pass until I misled people and found out from my gynecologist that it was a healthy pregnancy. You have no right to put anyone through such a situation. Orthopedics Bülent Bey is perfect in my eyes as a doctor. With this, my trust in Balat Hospital has ended.

I had surgery here and I have to say that the hospital is top notch. The staff, the care, the cleanliness and the excellent food. The location is a lonely peak. German hospitals should set an example when it comes to friendliness.

İki gözümden de katarakt ameliyatı oldum. Hem de 2 odaklı akıllı lens taktırdım. Hem ilgi alaka, hem bilgilendirmedeki şeffaflık ve hem de ameliyatlardaki hijyen ve doktor becerileri konusunda 10 numara deneyimler yaşadım. Buraya tavsiyeyle gelmiştim. Doğrusu gelirken şüphelerim vardı. Ama hepsi boş çıktı. Sürecin başından sonuna gerçekten mükemmele yakın bir tedavi yaşadım. Emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ediyorum. Gelmek isteyenlere de kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

I have participation insurance. Before the examination, I was not informed that if your insurance does not approve, you have to pay the examination fee. Since my insurance did not approve, I paid the examination fee. I encountered such a situation, I wrote a petition and complained, but I did not get any results.

I would like to thank the staff Miray Kanık and Nilay Canruh for their friendly and caring attitude. In addition, it is a hospital with a magnificent view and there is a synagogue inside, but it is only used for funeral ceremonies.

I thought I would test out this hospital to get a full blood test done. Since on the NHS- in UK (United Kingdom) you aren't able to get this done. Never used or been to a Turkish Hospital - paid over 7000+TL for a full blood check. I was told I would get an email with the result 1 week later. Now 4 weeks on - No response from Whatsapp. No response via emails. No response via contact form on website. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone - especially those from UK or non-turkish speaking person(s) to this hospital. Wasted money- will be claiming a refund from card provider. Looking at the Google reviews - compared to other hospitals in & around Istanbul. This has one of the lowest. Should have checked this before going. I would advise anyone reading this review to seriously consider other options i.e other hospitals in Turkey. Or if UK based (like me) save up to go privately in UK. For those who don't believe 7000TL for the blood test- I will post an image of the receipt within next couple of days & the list of blood tests for this charge.

I contacted Private Balat Hospital to have surgery at ENT. I had surgery at ENT through Mustafa Tekeş, who introduced himself as the hospital coordinator. Later, he took a large payment from me on condition that I sent it back on behalf of the hospital. When my payment did not arrive for days, I contacted the hospital and barely managed to reach the public relations employee. I explained my grievance. He gave the person a room to rent on the attic so that he could do hospital health tourism. He said that he had been employing this person for months without insurance. I learned that the payment he received was made by the company he founded under the name of the hospital. I could not reach the authorized people at the hospital and they did not even call back. It is definitely an unreliable organization.

In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful and cleanest hospitals in Istanbul. I gave birth there. I will never forget the care of my dear doctor Mr. İsmet, the nurses and the hospital staff. We also had my mother's cataract surgeries done there. We would like to express our endless gratitude to our beloved ophthalmologist and the people involved in Adem Bey.

We went for an eye examination. First of all, we would like to thank our doctor and Mr. Adem Korkmaz for supporting us. They were very helpful with their service and interest from the beginning to the end of our surgery process. We got good results in our treatment with friendly staff. I went on recommendation, we are very pleased, thank you.

Last night (February 16) I went to the emergency room due to high fever. They took very good care from start to finish. During the examination, the diagnosis of the disease and the explanation of its causes in a very understandable way, and the information about the treatment were great. Thanks to the serum and medications applied, I was able to sleep for the first time in 2 days. I would like to thank all the staff, especially the relevant doctors and nurses.
