Had a lovely meal at Amara, there were a couple of the large meatballs that were undercooked, however this was replaced immediately with freshly cooked meatballs. The staff were very friendly and they were really good to encourage you to try the local cuisine. The food, service and overall atmosphere were really impressive. It was fairly priced. One to recommend to those travelling locally to stop in and try. Visited at 19:00 and very quickly after the restaurant filled with other patrons so to avoid disappointment get in before the rush. Great venue & lovely find!

We came to have dinner at this beautiful restaurant at 1 in the morning and the service and food was impeccable. The filet mignon on fire and mixed grilled platter were so special and delicious. They kept bringing food and we ate so much. We couldn’t stop ourselves past midnight. Zaza was an amazing host! I highly recommend this place of you want good fresh food and amazing service.

The waiters here are awesome. The owner is great. I forgot my wallet yesterday night and I thought I lost it. I thought I wasn’t gonna find it but when I got to my hotel, the owner called the reception after finding my key card inside my wallet. VERY VERY honest people. The food was also great, especially the meat, will come back if I’m back in Istanbul!

Wonderful welcome by the warm, sunny owner 🌞. Great service by the waiters. Classy, elegant vibes and ambience, all reflected in the music. Both starters and mains were prepared and presented wonderfully. Taste and aftertaste were tops. Complimentary tea, and baklava were the cherry on top. A cat 🐈 was allowed to savour my leftovers. “We went to this wonderful Amara kebab fish restaurant with friends last night and our experience was amazing! First, the atmosphere was designed in an incredibly warm and inviting way. The dishes reflected the chef's expertise; the flavors were so rich that our palates feasted.there was a variety of dishes on the menu and it was great that everyone could find an option to suit their taste. The staff were friendly and helpful. The waiters always served with a smile and patiently answered our every question. they also didn't keep us waiting by serving our food quickly. Especially the fresh fish on the seafood platter and the grilled shrimp were excellent! In addition, the homemade cheesecake they offered for dessert was a wonderful ending with the flavor it left on the palate. we had a great evening at this restaurant and it's definitely a place we will visit again. All of our friends had similar thoughts and we all said we could not forget this experience. I advise!"

the place was great for eating, smoking shisha and having a drink. The staff was always there for you and fulfilled all your wishes. I like the fact that you weren't pushed into the local area but were simply asked nicely, I'll be in Istanbul for 5 days and I'm here every evening, sometimes to eat or just to have something to drink.

I ordered pasta, Fettuccini Alfredo. Very good. The service is perfect, all the waiters are very kind . The music is perfect.The toilet is clean. Worth a visit .

Mesut by the entrance, he is amazing, nice, kind, friendly, very helpful and he has a nice way to welcome you in their restaurant, such a nice way that you can’t say No but , you don’t regret going inside . The food is so tasty, the service is absolutely 100 stars. The atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy . I felt like home. The music is so nice we also dans. From my opinion is the best restaurant out of all them there in that area. The have affordable prices too, they don’t rip off. I recently visited Amara kebap & Fish House and had an amazing experience! The service was top-notch and our server Luis went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was also delicious and beautifully presented. Fantastic spot with great service from Zaza “the king.” The presentation of the dishes and the taste was wonderful. Speak English and very welcoming. Super warm and cozy place made me want to get comfortable and take a nap. Recommend!

Amara kebap is a nice Turkish restaurant that is situated in the old town. The restaurant is open till late , where then kitchen is open till 1am. The waiters here are very nice and professional. They prepare different kinds of Turkish kebab grilled meats and other traditional Turkish foods. I had an Adana kebap, which comes with rice, green pepper, grilled potato, onions and flat bread. The Adana meal was very flavourful, juicy. To drink I had the Ayran, a traditional Turkish yoghurt drink. Later I decided to get some Girolls which are traditional Turkish savoury pastry with cheese. The decor of the restaurant was very nice, and the atmosphere cozy. They have an outside area where you can smoke shisha This is a great place if planning to eat at a restaurant late night, and perhaps smoke a shisha.

We can early and was not dissapointed at the reviews given befoew and the whole restaurant crww gave us the grand welcome lead by Zaza. Will be back for dinner tommorrow

Very nice restaurant, with an amazing atmosphere and excellent food! The hosts are chatty and loves to crack a joke. We even got free Turkish tea. Mesut was amazing three is no Word to explain hes greatness

Went for a quick lunch. Once you were seated, that's where the service ended! Food was very average, no taste, no salt used. Chips/Fries were oily, and cold/old. Asked for chilli and was given a filthy bottle. Flies crawling over the food while we were eating. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL especially for the price! Had a chicken kebap & lamb kebap, coke & fresh juice total 1495 TL A$88

This little gem is located in a very cozy street around other cool restaurants. Their service was on point and their food was very delicious. They also offer shisha/hookah which can be enjoyed in their comfy chairs. Servers are very attentive and helpful. Worth the visit

The place is very beautiful, cozy and nicely decorated. Could be a very good place for a date. Impressive food and we didn't have to wait long. Very wide range of dishes, a bit overpriced though. The service personnel gave the impression that they were not happy about us not wanting to order anything else apart from the food we wanted.

The service and food is outstanding. They gave us a 20% discount for our big group. The lamb was my favorite!

The food was delicious and Ahmet was very attentive, when he served us. I would recommend the fish as it was fresh and plentiful. The Turkish salad was absolutely divine.. If you love dogs, come here as they have a pet Chow Chow, who is adorable.

Nice place! A welcoming stuff, cozy design and relaxing vibe :) Nevertheless, the food was good (because we all seek for it first) Moreover, they would treat you with some free watermelon in a hot day. Totally worth it 💯
