Best service and nicest food in Istanbul. Our server - Mohammed - was absolutely lovely. We had no reservation and came here after reading positive reviews about the vegetarian food. I am vegetarian, my husband is not. And I’ve mostly lived on crisps and cookies for our 10 day tour of Turkey! Resto Ethnica didn’t disappoint. We had the cold mezze (v), which had the nicest ezme we’ve had so far, falafel (v) - perfectly spiced and crisp, tabbouleh salad (v) - very fresh and light, - all amazing, and incredibly fresh. My husband had the chekertme kebab which was good. Plenty of warm bread. Had a house wine, and Mohammed brought us a couple of baklava and Turkish tea for our efforts in eating all the tasty food 🤣 Lively atmosphere, very calm and soothing, gentle music. A chilled out oasis in a chaotic city. We would happily return! If you’re a vegetarian - or you have one in your group - come here. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great time here, for food, drinks and hookah! The atmosphere was stellar - we chose to get a table outside and really felt like we were able to view the city pass by while relaxing at the same time. We got mezze to share, falafel and chicken shish kebab all of which were amazing. The hummus on the mezze platter was out of this world. Our waiter Abdul was incredibly gracious, and we had many cups of çay, along with a couple of hours of lounging with a hookah. Overall, a highly recommended experience. Also suitable for vegetarians!

I enjoyed my solo breakfast at the restaurant The food was so delicious with different flavours. A should try if you are fond of sweet and sour taste. Quick service and cosy atmosphere couple with nice decor which bring the Turkish feel. Salih is very welcoming and cheerful person.

The best restaurant i have ever been in Istanbul. Especially the manager Mr Salih Bey is very caring, attentive and does his job brilliantly mashaAllah! Food and drink are all in high level. I’m gonna come here again and have drink from Mr Salih again ;)

Salih lured us in - offering 'if not enjoy' - ' you don't pay'. Complimentary cold starters and Turkish tea and baklava. Prices reasonable, tasted as delicious as it was presented. Friendly service, felt comfortable throughout. Will certainly come again.

Fantastic Anatolian cuisine! Our server, Brown, was so very friendly and attentive. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, not to be missed during your time in Istanbul. I would especially recommend for you to try Tirit and, for dessert, Katmer.

I am so happy I found this place! Amazing food, service and location. Brown was so friendly and helpful, it made my experience even better! Earlier this trip I had a few disappointing restaurant experiences (Istanbul really?) I even started googling local Michelin restaurants, their reviews were not promising, I am not paying a lot of money for something that I might not like. So I put extra effort and time to find this gem. Long story short - LOVED IT. Talked to another visitor, she said she keeps coming back here for a good dinner. I had an appetizer plate, chicken kebab and tabouli salad - everything was great.

One of the best places in Istanbul!! Highly recommended! We ordered chicken kebab, pasta and Iskander kebab...All of the dishes were beyond our expectations! The location, atmosphere...we enjoyed it all. Very friendly and caring staff (especially Yusuf).

We loved it here! The Greek salad, and flat bread and dips are lovely! My partner got the meat durum and really enjoyed too. Followed by delicious baklava. Our server Motasem was excellent! Very kind and attentive. If it wasn’t our last day we’d be back because of him.

We visited for dinner based on the reviews. We were blown away by the food and service. Really friendly staff, even allowed us to pick a road side table so we could watch the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. The food came quickly and was exquisite - most restaurants post photos of the food on the menu and these courses were just as shown. Will definitely visit again.

This place was wonderful! I'm vegan and they had such great options! I think this place had some of the best falafel I've had! The non vegan friends also enjoyed their food! The waiting staff were wonderful and so friendly and after we paid we got complimentary tea and dessert which made us feel so welcome to continue chatting with our friends.

Great place, even better food and ambient. Prices are good for the service you get. The staff was really helpful and our waiter Faisal was so nice and communicative about everything. He had good wine recommendations. We got cold starters on the house what was nice touch.

The food in this restaurant is amazing! I especially love the "Tirit" for my main dish and the brownie box for dessert. It was so delicious. The customer service is also exemplary. I was looked after by Roben and made sure I had a great dining experience.

We went here after reading the great reviews. There was a good selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu. The service was prompt and pleasant. The ambience was really fun with musical trios passing by on the narrow lane right outside. We also got to watch the drama of testi kebab getting prepared for another table. I ordered the mezze platter and the Bombay fasulye. The beetroot dip was amazing. Rest of my food tasted so so. I found the food and drink a little overpriced. They gave us complimentary baklava at the end.
