Came
here
because
my
tour
included
lunch.
I
wasn’t
expecting
much,
because
so
far
all
the
places
I
visited
with
the
tour
were
all
just
okay.
But
surprisingly
this
spot
was
great!
My
family
enjoyed
it
so
much
we
came
back
for
more
the
next
day.
The
interior
walls
are
filled
with
accolades
and
photos
of
famous
Turkish
actors
and
comedians
who
have
come
to
visit
the
establishment.
It
feels
very
traditional,
with
a
modern
flair.
They
have
a
very
simple
menu,
and
literally
only
serve
their
Kofta
(meatball),
alongside
a
variety
of
sides
and
a
complimentary
basket
of
bread.
The
Kofta
is
delicious!
Very
juicy,
flavorful,
but
can
get
a
bit
too
oily.
Their
rice
is
also
very
tasty,
all
that
delicious
butter
on
it
makes
it
very
scrumptious.
The
lentil
soup
was
good
but
a
bit
bland,
though
it
went
well
with
the
Kofta.
The
fries
and
salad
were
forgettable.
The
Buttermilk
(Ayran?)
was
wrongly
named,
because
it
was
neither
milky
or
buttery,
but
very
yogurty
and
sour!
Would
definitely
recommend
checking
this
place
out
after
visiting
the
Blue
Mosque
or
the
Hagia
Sophia.
Plus,
it’s
located
right
in
front
of
the
Sultanahmet
Metro
station
so
it’s
even
more
convenient!
