Definitely a visit worthy place. ate the best kofte ever in my whole life. The shop looks small and old. but the taste is genuinely amazing. If you are in istanbul you must eat here 100%. Unfortunately the kofte ran out, so I was only able to eat 1 portion. But I will definitely come back here for the golden taste

Authentic food surrounded by locals having their lunch. No glam or glitz. Just a tasty meal of the day at a very good price.

Hidden local gem in the market next to the Egyptian bazaar. I saw mainly locals and prices were very reasonable, 2 grilled kofte dishes, 2 Ayran drinks, bread and a small salad for around 150tL. The guys working there are very kind & friendly. The kofte meat is grilled on charcoal properly and that comes through as part of the flavours. The Ayran they sell which I tried in Bursa before is really tasty.

Amazing köfteci hidden gem! Very local, limited seating and simple menu. You should try this instead of tourist traps.

Small Kofta restaurant hidden near the entrance of the bazaar. Excellent kofta, great for a quick bite - comes with chilli sauce and quite spicy chilli if you want it. Served with half a toasted baguette.

It's a bit of a challenge in that it's in a branch off the alley but worth the effort. We sat down then they immediately put a setup down for us and after a few minutes they brought us piyaz (white bean salad) and a couple minutes later the köfteci (grilled meatballs) grilled peppers and bread. With the waiter's permission I grabbed our drinks from the refrigerator. The grilled peppers that accompanied the köfteci had some heat which I liked but my wife skipped. We never actually ordered anything nor did we see a menu. We were both very happy and full. Our meal with drinks was 280TL.

So difficult to find a restaurant in a foreign city which delivers on the beauty of local cuisine but luckily we stumbled upon this place for our meatballs. They were absolutely what we were hoping for, locals eating local food. One of the best meals of the holiday and such simple effective food. Very flavoursome, very simple, very reasonable prices. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting the city that wants to experience a semi no-frills local food from a great place
