We loved it so much that we ate there 3 times while my family visited Istanbul! The staff was kind, family-friendly, and fun. They had a delicious fruit platter, wonderful options for children, and lots of outdoor seating in a beautiful setting. We liked sitting outside and watching the dub go down over old town Istanbul. The shish kebabs we're great, and I could have sat there all afternoon drinking tea and taking pictures of all the people as they walked past. I also noticed that several locals were eating there, which is always a mark of quality.

Food was nice and generous portions, but the service really stood out! Had a great solo meal, and this was a really nice place to have a meal to myself. On a quiet side street, which the server then used to make a presentation out of my meal, which was quite unexpected! And just to say, I splurged on my meal since I was only there one night, but you can certainly spend a very reasonable amount and have a great meal. I also tipped, but tipping is not expected and even confused the servers.

Best Turkish food I’ve ever had. Got the house specialty pottery kebab and the show is as good as the food. 5/5 will be coming back dozens of times. best dinner with kids

If you want to have a tasty meal and have a good time, then this is the place for you. The meat here is juicy and delicious. We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. To brighten up the waiting time for your order, they will bring you hot pita bread with snacks. And after a hearty and tasty dinner, they won't let you go without hot tea (and I note that they won't charge you a cent for this). Be sure to take meat here, they really know how to cook it. And you should try homemade lemonade. Friendly waiters who are sincerely glad that you have come to this particular restaurant. You can take a seat on the veranda at any time of the year, as there are heaters and a vat of coal (see photo)

We were VERY lucky to find this place. The service and the food were unbelievable and even came with the flame show included. Our waiter was extremely kind and even invited us with an appetizer to start, and a tea to finish. (I'm very sorry to forget your name, but at least I remember you are a fan of River Plate!) Five stars without even flinching.

There are several restaurants in Sirkeci and I'm glad we were able to choose this place. We were surprised to see it has 4.9 stars in Google Reviews. But once we had their dishes, we instantly knew why. The ones we ordered were flavorful and the service that we received was exceptional. Highly recommended! Plus, we even received Turkish coffee and Baklava for free.

Came here randomly and found this wonderful restaurant. Clean on the inside and very great service. Food was yummy too and so many options to choose from. They have everything and would definitely recommend coming here!

We were looking for a nice place to have a good quality authentic Turkish dinner and found this place as being high rated and wanted to give it a try. And this was the right choice. The service was really good and the restaurant staff was very responsive and made our evening very pleasant. The quality of food was really good and they served it in a very entertaining way. The place was quite crowded but not noisy; interestingly, that the restaurants around were empty and the majority of people came to this place. The have a good selection of wine and their house wine was pretty good, probably a bit overpriced. They have Efes beer from tap and this one was really good. All in all, we would recommend this place.

Awesome restaurant. We bumped into it while searching for vegetarian food. Lots of reviews mention it, and they are not wrong!! The firework show is fun for kids and adults alike and the food is really good. We did a food tour the day before and the chicken here was better than what the food tour guys took us to!

The food was so delectable, the service was awesome and the the atmosphere is good but there a lot of cars and. Motorbikes passing by for me it was annoying and some of them did honking while at the dinner wanna have a good time and chill its annoying , inside is better but it wont give you the real Istanbul atmosphere, overall it was lovely 🙂

Wonderful restaurant in Istanbul. Try the calamari (meze)--Americans used to rubbery, heavily breaded will have a new taste experience! And definitely try the meat kebab, which comes in a Terra Cotta on fire. Tastes great, plus a great dinner show too. And the atmosphere is wonderful on a lovely street, a nice reprieve from a busy, noisy Istanbul

I had a delightful lunch of chicken kebab with salad, roasted veggies, fries, and rice. The staff were very helpful and attentive, but did not hover. They also brought us fresh bread and spreads and ended the meal with Turkish coffee and baklava. Everything was tasty and well seasoned. I was with a friend at this meal, and after reading some of the other reviews that mentioned feeling comfortable coming here solo, I will definitely come back again on my own.

After having a historical and intense day around Sultan Ahmet, my friend and I had an excellent dinner at Seher restaurant. My friend ordered Chicken Tepsi, and I ordered Ali Nazik. And we also ordered a meze plate to share. All this food was very delicious. I enjoyed the meat a lot. The staff was welcoming and kind to us. At the end of our meal, they served us Turkish baklava and an apple tea which we were not charged for. I definitely recommend this place :)

Going for a solo meal can always feel a bit awkward but the staff were so friendly and made me feel so at ease. The food was incredible, I opted for the calamari to start and prawn casserole which was amazing, so flavourful and washed down with a very nice glass of white wine. Definitely recommend a visit :)

The best place in Istanbul. We've been here with my wife two years ago and had an amazing experience. This time, we had a long layover in Istanbul and we came straight to this place! It was amazing to see Mustafa and to experience amazing food and atmosphere once again! See you next time for sure!

A great experience! Wonderful attentive service, comfortable outdoor seating with a roof, and delicious food! Short story long, ater an exhausting first day of our travel and interesting dervishes dance show at the Hodjapasha culture center we were so hungry! My boyfriend quickly found a nearby restaurant with a really good Google rating. I was a bit sceptical at first, walking in with no booking, but after entering a friendly cobblestone street and seeing the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant I relaxed quickly. We were kindly greeted and invited in by Omar (I hope I remember correctly) who attentively took care of us the whole evening. After ordering our drinks (they also server beer, spirits and so on), we got the turkish flatbread, yogurt with herbs, and local spicy sauce as an included appetizer. For the main course we order a steak in mushroom sauce and beyti kebap, a delicious dish with minced meat, wrapped in flatbread and served with vegetables and tomato sauce. After a hearty meal (the portions are generous!) we received turkish tea, and baklava, also included in the service. I was a bit worried that all the freebies will add to the bill (some kind of huge service charge), however the cost of this amazing dinner and experience for two was very reasonable, amounting to about 70 eur with several alcoholic drinks and main dishes for two. Thank you Omar, and the Seher cooks and staff for a great experience, we will gladly return again!

Wonderful and welcoming service, delicious food, complimentary bread with fixings before and dessert with tea afterwards, and lovely atmosphere. We got the Ottoman Kebab platter and it was absolutely delightful! Would highly recommend you try this place out. Mustafa, the owner, is an amazing host and makes you feel right at home!

Stopped here for dinner based on other reviews and were not disappointed. Had a very nice dinner here, staff were very friendly, food was delicious, but one meal (mix testi) stole the show! Fun presentation, but more importantly, so flavorful! Recommend stopping in, grabbing a seat against the picturesque wall, and having a nice dinner.

We walked in in Tuesday night in November, place was pretty empty, so we were accommodated immediatly. We mostly drank and smoked a hookah that night, didn't eat much. We just tried their cigara borege, liver and flame meet stuff in clay pot. Service is prompt and attentive, especially when you're treating waiters with respect. Thank you for having us.
