Typical Turkish SCAM! They will try to charge you 20% for using card payment, don’t fall it, unacceptable behaviour. Literally no other restaurants on the street charges for using card payment. Please don’t support this kind of behaviour. Otherwise the food is acceptable, nothing outstanding, other cafes on the street are much better.

Visited on evening of 1st Oct 2020. The place was decent with good food (adequate portion size and good taste), centrally located and priced alright. However, the customer service and cleanliness (washroom was quite dirty) required quite a bit of improvement.

Lovely place. Lovely terrace. Lovely service. Perfect to have a quiet moment and enjoy the (loud) streets of Istanbul. Cheap and the drinks were quite nice. Went twice in one day!

That wasn't a very pleasant experience. Food was strange and very simple. We got served with the wrong dish twice. Service wasn't very friendly. Durum was dry. The coffee was bad and the fresh orange juice was too sour.

I really like traditional Turkish breakfasts. I like looking at these numerous small bowls containing various delicacies - spreads, cheeses, olives, honey, jams, eggs... But in this place the breakfast set is quite poor and unsatisfying, and what I got was not in any way exciting. Simple, just like that. However, my friend ordered menemen here and found it delicious, and after trying it, I agreed with her. Was perfect, probably menemen of my life. So if you want to have breakfast in this place, rather choose wisely egg-based.

Popped in with my family to get a quick bite on the 16th of July. Instead of fetching our drinks ,the waiter was on his phone . There was no one but us . Eventually as we were in a rush I told the waiter we'd pay and leave. So they made us pay for the drinks and food they never served. Very unprofessional and highly suggest they change business.

This was our breakfast place during our stay at the Galata port flat. For 3 days we had the standard breakfast. While it was good, it would have been better to get some variety. They allowed us to substitute with omelette one day and memsen omlette another day. These were just about ok. Service was good and the place is very charming, the only issue being pesky cats who keep trying to swipe the food..so it's a stressful meal. But good local place to get some good food

I look at other people's photos, I regret why I didn't order something else! This place is right off the road which leads to Galata tower and that means triple prices. the time we went there was almost empty so we got the attention we needed. This is surely a great place and we really enjoyed our Sutlac! pretty sweet and delicious.

We had salad, lentils soup and Ayran. Everything was bad. Salad was fresh but spoiled with the cheap sauce, lentils soup was too fat and Ayran was even served in the pack from the supermarket. The atmosphere is ok but there are cars hectically driving around. I don’t recommend the place.

Really delicious menemen, came for breakfast with 7 people. Make sure you leave enough time for them to prepare your food, only one person in the kitchen but it’s definitely worth the wait!

Traditional breaks DOES NOT mean traditional taste. This places is well located and has a great terrace ambience. The staff is friendly as well, but the food is far from average. Menemen is pretty tasteless compared to traditional ones served in places like Namli. The Mulhama is also nothing special. I thought I try it as the reviews seem good, but after revisiting them I noticed that there are barely any local reviews, which is a red flag for me. If you want to come anyways: The tea was good so for hanging out it’s good, but avoid the food if you expect traditional taste.

The place was suggested by hotel staff as they were locals, we expected bit more than what we had. The waitress was kind and food was good but not great. The price was also good. The place should improve cleanliness. If we were to choose place to go for Turkish breakfast we wouldn’t come back but try different restaurants.

A nice local cafe in the middle of a buzzing neighborhood that serves authentic Turkish breakfast. We had the Ottoman breakfast for two, and it was delicious and filling featuring a selection of local cheese, a fruit platter, olives, jams and more. The staff was very friendly and attentive and also speaking good English, so communication is not a problem. After we finished with the breakfast we were offered complimentary Turkish coffee, which was a very pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience and highly recommend it!

My new favourite cafe in Istanbul! Food was perfect, staff were amazing, and it had the best vibe with the chilled out atmosphere and music. Look forward to going back

We wandered in here on our first morning in Istanbul. The food was delicious, the waiter was so sweet and the atmosphere was really cool. I love the colorful chairs on the porch. I definitely recommend coming here. We’ll be back during our stay for sure!

I went for breakfast and had one mixed toast, and it was this ultra processed meat (small quantity). I think no words needed with the picture. This is a sandwich I wouldn’t prepare for my worst enemy. It is unacceptable. I have traveled over 80 countries and I have never seen this kind of presentation for any kind of food. Even they claimed it is normal toast in Turkey when I have come here over 10 times. Lame place, and lame way to treat customers. Highly unrecommended.

Their food is tasty and good smell, but rice is too little.

An excellent restaurant in the Galata area with tasty yet not expensive food. Most of the dishes here are (obviously) Turkish, but there are also a few Italian ones: pasta, pizza... To drink, you have a broad choice of sodas, Turkish tea, Turkish coffee... The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The owner, who is usually also the person taking and serving the orders, speaks English, so if you don't speak Turkish, don't worry!

We stayed nearby so came to Falls in Galata multiple times for breakfast, dinner and shisha/nargile. It is a very relaxed restaurant with nice fair-priced food and great service.

This Cafe is excellent for breakfast. We had fried eggs with sausages which were delicious and served with the softest bread. Would definitely recommend anyone to have breakfast here.

DISAPPOINTING We went here because another restaurant down the street had a waiting list. Breakfast took more than 10-15 minutes to come. Taste was bleh compared to other restaurants in the area. Avoid the breakfast here and search for “kahvalti” on Google. What’s nice here though is the seating area. Good place to sit with a laptop.
