One of the best breakfast restaurants in Istanbul. The restaurant is very crowded all day long. You can eat breakfast anytime you like on the day. The Turkish egg is delicious. The qaimar and honey was phenomena. What makes this restaurant special that you can choose what to have from many diverse options. So recommended Revisit again in the new location, new and better.

Attentive service, delicious food, and wide variety of dishes. I’ve heard good things about Namli and haven’t been disappointed. You order at the counter and the food on the table. Everything was brought super fast and it was just delicious. I recommend going early in the morning where you never have to deal with long queues. Definitely recommended.

INCREDIBLE BREAKFAST - probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The Bal Kaymak was super delicious and creamy. Other highlights - meat borek, spicy yogurt, fried egg with sujuk, simit. Can’t really complain about anything though. We ate SO much food along with four coffees, and just paid 1500 TL for 2 people. 100% recommend this place for a great breakfast when in Istanbul.

It was crowded and not organized, some of the staff are not smiling or welcoming. They ask for tips even when they don’t deserve it. I came to this place because i have some good memories before. However, they should work on their protocol. Food is good.

Unfortunately not that what we expected. Bread was dry, Menemen taste like nothing. The only good thing about that was the Turkish tea, but if you fail that you should not run a breakfast store like that. Very loud environment!

We had a great and delicious breakfast in this place. The only problem was that the restaurant staff walked around our table all the time and collected the plates without permission. We were very upset and annoyed by this unprofessional behavior.

We love this place for a traditional Turkish breakfast. The meat pastry is a must try also the black wrinkled olives they are to die for. If you time to reserve it is better as the place is always busy. We ordered 2 bastrami olmette, cheese platter 10 slices, vegetables, 2 slices cheese pastry , 1 slice meat pastry and 1 tea all were very good. The invoice was for 1700 turkish lira.

For the very first breakfast we had in Istanbul, we wanted to try an authentic Turkish breakfast. Google and multiple food reviewers on YouTube recommended this place and it did not disappointed. The menemen was extremely tasty, the simit tasted super fresh and the cheese and eggs were simply delightful. Will probably have breakfast one more time before I leave this city.

A bit confusing & hectic but totally worth it! Don’t be put off by the negative reviews here, this place is fantastic if you don’t mind some hustle & bustle! To be honest it adds to the experience. You may wait 15-20min to get a table assigned to you (if you go during peak times), but before you sit down you choose what you want to order from an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, olives, egg dishes, böreks etc. You’re then given a number & led to your table & then everything is brought to you very quickly. Tea/coffee & drinks are ordered via the wait staff & you pay once you’ve finished eating. We walked out of there very happily full of delicious food- and we went back again several days later 😍

5 stars rating for breakfast. (lunch is not as good) Breakfast selection is great, our favorites were the labneh zaatar, honey with cream, the cheese selection and cold cuts and of course the eggs with pastrami.

Whereas the food was average. The service is slow and staff are rude. The ambiance does much better and they are selling most of there products like cheese, sausage, honey and olives.

Highly recommended. Delicious food especially menmen (shashoka) and labneh. Reasonable prices and you are charged for what you order (not like other places who charge by person). The staff are very friendly.

You can find a good breakfast in the hurt of the city, but with terribly organization. Order your scrambled eggs in a long line in a narrow hallway over in strong wind, then order a sutlac at the table... Without these, the prices were normal.

Great place to sample all Turkish breakfast items. The mennemen, sucuk and cut meats are great! Honey with simit is also highly recommended. Portions are giant and we couldn't finish without feeling bloated. Service is quick and good.

Nice setup. You go inside and order your food and take it to your table, you can also order hot food like omelette sand shakshooka.

We were super disappointed with the quality of the breakfast and service at this place. The reviews fooled us but if you are looking for good authentic Turkish Breakfast, this is NOT the place! There was no standing menu and was not worth the price. On the plus side, it looks nice from the outside, and a corner of the place faced the Bosporus, if you don’t mind the added downside of the view is blocked by a construction site. If you decide to eat here, our recommendation, lower your standards and buy a simit from the guys on the bridge.

This place is always very busy, the surroundings are very noisy and full of construction, but still the breakfast there never disappoints. The ordering process might feel a bit confusing but just ask for a mixed platter to the staff and they will prepare it for you. Their charcuteries options are great, and their cold starters are delicious, especially the ”zeytinyağlı” options.

One of the best breakfast places you can have in Istanbul. It is very nice with its breakfast varieties and location. The best time to go is early in the morning, otherwise it gets very crowded.

Nice and Authentic Turkish breakfast with variety of choices. Their service is fairy good and fast. Highly recommend this place due to its unique selection of their foods and breads. Tea is served in the hot tea container, could be convenient, however I would liked it better if they had to re fill it with fresh hot tea. it is an experience while you're visiting Istanbul, give them a try!

One of the rare non tourist traps in the area with amazing food, friendly and helpful staff and good prices. The place was close to our hotel and we wanted Turkish breakfast, the place was full with locals so we decided to try, we liked it so much that we ended up eating breakfast here every day. The concept is very cool because you can choose from variety of cheeses, meat and other goods that are freshly prepared. The staff members eventually started to recognize us and we even got tea for free on our last day and very fun Turkish language lesson. This place is highly recommended and we will definetly be coming back the next time we are in Istanbul.

Very traditional Turkish breakfast experience. The cheese, the breads, honey, are vegetables were very fresh and loved the authentic flavours. This is a market place align with restaurant. The flow and interiors are so impressive and gives you a great feel for Dine In. Must visit in Galata area. This is right next to the seaport.

A lovely experience having breakfast here at 7 am along with the locals. Prices were reasonable and items were delicious. It also has a shopping segment where olives, honey, dairy products etc re sold. Staff were wonderful and the manageress an excellent person!

Location is amazing, food is ok and the attitude of the staff is hit or miss. Like majority of restaurant workers in Istanbul, most of them don’t speak English. If you are a tourist like me, you are not going to like this place because you may think staff is rude but their problem is language. I was buying organic honey to take with me and was lucky to find a staff member who spoke English. He was very helpful and three stars are for him. This place is crowded with a lot of local customers because they know the language and they can talk freely in Turkish. Management should add English speaking staff if they care about tourists.

If you’re looking for an authentic me a experience, this is the place to do it. You pick your dishes out from a deli style selection, and it’s all served up for you beautifully. Honey with honeycomb and cream included!

i would say the experience beats the deliciousness of the food. nothing was extraordinary for me, regular tukish and international breakfst dishes but the vipes of the place are really nice.

I know Namli very well, I’ve been a regular customer since around 15 years. Truly his meat gourmet is very high quality. I specially like his cold cuts and fume meat, what I really love is the Kavurma, tongue slices, roast beef and smoked turkey. I recommend everyone to come and dine in for breakfast, and also to take some products from the market as well…

"If you're in the mood for some amazing food and delicious Turkish coffee, look no further than Namli Gurme. This restaurant serves up some of the best cuisine in the area, and at a very affordable price. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that really adds to the experience. While the food and coffee are definitely the standout features of Namli Gurme, the service could use a bit of restructuring. Even though they have plenty of staff, the table service can be a bit awkward and inefficient at times. However, this is a minor issue when compared to the overall quality of the restaurant. The menu at Namli Gurme is extensive, with something for everyone. I highly recommend trying some of their signature dishes, like the kofte or the grilled vegetables. And of course, you can't leave without trying their delicious Turkish coffee. Overall, Namli Gurme is a great spot for a meal with friends or family. Despite some minor issues with the service, the amazing food, affordable prices, and beautiful setting make this restaurant a must-visit. If you're looking for a taste of Turkish cuisine, look no further than Namli Gurme."

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Wonderful selection of fresh food. Took a few days to moderate the amount we ordered to our favourites. No problem getting a table when we arrived before 10am. Also a delicatessen.
