This was on my corporate list for hotels, but it doesn’t meet the grade for a business hotel. Check in was a struggle with their difficulties accepting an American credit card, giving a room key that didn’t work, wi-fi that kept cutting out (and the front desk made up a story about why), sewage smell in the bathroom, inconsistent room cleaning (which often didn’t replenish supplies), and a final invoice that didn’t balance. And lots of other little inconveniences that added up to a less than good experience.

I do not recommend it We have had a very bad experience We bought a voucher for four people A suite for the couple and an additional room for the children Well, they scammed us by giving us a room and two extra beds that were disassembled and the children ended up sleeping with the mattress on the floor, almost €4,000 for a hotel for this, a shame, neither the room was worth it, nor the qualities, nor the service. First night experience: Very noisy room, the heating did not work, the duvet is a double sheet with a blanket inside, when you get out of the shower you freeze because of the cold in the room, the mattress on the bed worse than that of a truck hotel, you You sink into the mattress, I woke up devastated, with back pain, the best hotel to be able to rest, in short….cleanliness is better, let's not even talk about it. For 4 people we only had towels for two, even after claiming several times. Then we will update the breakfast buffet. Hotel located in a university area, one hour by public transport or 25 minutes by taxi from the main monuments, for sightseeing it is not recommended. You have to be very careful and read the reviews well before choosing a hotel.

I missed my connection flight and so I arrived a day late to the property, I messaged the hotel to keep my room for me and I would pay the full amount upon arrival. They agreed to do this. When I arrived they had cancelled the room and were extremely unmannerly in their approach. I then had to pay for another room. They also kept me waiting in reception for 45 minutes which caused me to miss my dinner reservation. The rooms were very unsanitary. The staff were possibly the most unpleasant staff I have ever encountered and to top things off as I was leaving they told me and my friend we owed the property 140 euro. We told them that this wasn’t our bill. They said to pay them or we they would ring the police. As we were rushing for a flight and also very afraid of Turkish police arresting us we foolishly paid them money. By far the worst property I have ever stayed at. I would encourage all residents to stay clear of this property. On overall nightmare stay from start to finish. I will say however they have one lovely employee that I want to exclude from the rest. She worked in the rooftop and bar of the residence and was very helpful throughout my stay. My friend hurt his ankle and she went out of her way to find crutches for us.

Lovely stuff the place is clean and modern my room was on the 6 floor and I had a beautiful view! I’d love to thanks the receptionist very professional and the blonde cleaner she was so lovely helping me recovering post surgery! The only thing when you order some food from the restaurant it will take ages and you will enjoy cold but I guess for the prices just don’t! I will come back in the future x

I found my stay at the Ramada to be a very welcoming and comfortable distraction from a hectic trip. Not situated in the best location but taxis and reception help are readily available. Great staff who speak excellent English and very friendly indeed. My room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. Refreshed every day. Good food and great buffet breakfast, altogether a very nice stay.

Loads of people that have had surgery stay at this hotel . With them knowing this you would think they would be more attentive and caring .room was freezing cold on arrival ,old blood stains was on the sheets ,I ordered food takeaway was very good but put it in the fridge over night when I called room service for it to be heated they initially said no ,then told me to contact reception who then told me to contact room service ally of this whilst I’m recovering from a body service so all I need to be doing is resting. Reception was rude we was hung up on multiple times It’s ridiculous! Do not stay for recovery you will be fending for yourself

I spent 6 days here after having a procedure done in Turkey and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable as it seems most of their guests are undergoing procedures. The manager was a kind gentleman who made sure we were all happy with our stay every morning and the breakfast buffet is delicious & comes with a mini show as they cook it in-front of you!

My family are with jackets and shall on the bed and they asked the room service and reception to do something but nobody did anything! I’m really angry and plz don’t book a room for yourself or your family in this hotel!!!! I don’t recommend!!!!!!😡🙏🏼

Poor service. Ugly view from the rooms we were given facing a residential building 4-5 yards away! We were told no other rooms available. Rude staff the vast majority of whom speaks NO second language. The area around the hotel is poor. Faucet broke off the day of our arrival and was not fixed 6 days later when we left! Breakfast is good but staff is super rude, dirty looks, turn off the lights when the time ended without warning. On top of this they do not allow you to bring any food or drink from outside. The terrace restaurant is poorly staffed and has limited hours. The hotel fills up it’s room from medical tourism contracts and does not care to provide a service that bring you back.

The hotel has a good view of the city. The staff is a bit helpful but the management is very strict and rude. Little bit of kindness to the timelines of the party hall should be appreciated. The hotel has nice food but it is very expensive. It also has the spa and sauna but it is way more expensive than outside. It costed me 100$ for bali spa and it was not worth it at all. Will recommend not to have it.

When I arrived to the hotel, everything seems OK,they give me the key and show me the room, the gentleman told me breakfast was 9 to 11am, and that rooftop was open till 23pm. I was super tired from the flight and the operation, went upstairs to the roof to eat something, but I end up to take my food to the room. Next day when I wake up, realised that the room wasn't been clean properly, found a empty ring box, lot of dust and pappers under the bed. I left the button "clean please" on and went for breakfast it was 10h10am, when I arrived downstairs breakfast was finish, I told to a lady that a been told that was till 11am, which she replied that is on the weekend's. I had something yo eat and went back to the clinic, Later this afternoon I order a cheese board, I had to call room services 3 times coz no one was understanding me, the cheese finally arrived, (45mints late) when I realised that was no crackers, call them again and ask for it the lady told me on the way, 15/20 more minutes pass and nothing call them again, and she said they had no crackers. I order food later on again, and it took ages. Room and toilet was the best, also they have a nice rooftop. Overall I didn't enjoy my stay at all.

Overall, this hotel was ok - It was clean, well presented, comfortable and the staff were friendly but not many spoke English. However, a few things spoiled the experience - Twice they left no water or tea in our room and when we called to request for some, we were told to come and get some from the lobby; They start packing away and stop replenishing 30mins before end of service at breakfast; Heating/a/c difficult to regulate (too hot or too cold!); Restaurant was very noisy (load disco music playing)

    1. The rooms were not clean. I had some hair and breadcrumbs on the TV cabinet. The toilet lid was really old so it got yellow, which costs max 20 usd to change. 2. In the room I had a door to the next room. When I was in bathroom I heard voices as if somebody was in my room, when I got out I realized that it was a lady from the next room. So you can realize how bad rooms' airtight. I also woke up a few times at night because the room neighbour was talking on the phone, asked reception to help, worked for a half an hour. 3. Breakfast was okay, orange juice from carton. 4. Location was ok, nothing is nearby but takes 15 minutes by taxi to Taksim square. It was my business trip, it is already exhausting, hotel made it even more tiring.

An out of the way hotel for tourism but nice for the quiet location. For a lower per room price, if you are adventurous and would learn a bus route or take taxis, it would be worth it for tourism. Amazing spa with hamman and Bali massage therapists and hamman.Very good price on that. The staff were all amazing, especially Batuhan. Rooms and bathrooms were about the same level as everywhere else I stayed on my 10 day tour. I had a handicap room and it truly was. Restaurant on top floor was excellent with a wonderful view.

The hotel is welcoming, the staff are friendly and helpful and the guests (including me) all appeared to be there for cosmetic procedures. It was really comforting to be with other guests who were going through similar things.

Good stay at Ramada Hotel. Some issues - toilet water too hot, no exhaust system in the toilets, no good view from the window/balcony, they keep snacks and drinks in front of you as if they're included in the package but then charge you all in the end at a higher rate than the general market rate. In the end, a young man got me to write a 5 star review for the hotel before I left and was with me until I submitted the review.

Very beautiful Art Deco style 4 star hotel. Recently stayed here and enjoyed it very much. Staff very professional and kind, hotel beautiful, clean and sophisticated. In a perfect location across the road from a quiet park but only 15 minutes by local bus to Taksim Square. Perfect! We will return on vacation here.

I have enjoyed an amazing stay at Ramada. The welcome and reception was so generous - staff were charming and spoke good English and communicated clearly. A stand out was Omer, the kindest bell boy and Onur who took care of us at every turn. Thank you Ramada.

Azad was very friendly with the check in and helpful with all aspects of the service. He would make sure all of our needs were catered for. Yagiz helped take our bags to our room on day one, I was quite surprised to see he was still on the next morning and still providing excellent service at the breakfast area. The rooftop restaurant has fantastic views of the city, and the food is not too bad either. The noise from the traffic is the only reason I would give the location a 4/5.

I feel this is purely a medical hotel. It is good for that purpose but did get put off by the minibar charges at the end. So many items had been added which I did not consume, which were then removed. Check your bills!

The experience was great to live in Ramada golden horn. The staff is amazing friendly and helpful. Mr. Bayram is highly recommended if any problem comes up, he will always help and support. The best part of the place was that the room service is excellent as I am travelling with 1 infant and 1 child. They are always at your service. The cleaning service for the room was excellent and always available whenever you will call them. We surely want to always keep our stay in Ramada Golden horn. Room recommended: Terrace Suite Sea View. Regards Muhammad Zunair

Stayed here after a follicle transplant. It was clean and comfortable and tranquil enough for me to convalesce in peace. Shame the big curtain just opened onto a wall as it liked to have viewed the river. The price of a packet of Pringles equates to that of a nose job. Courteous and friendly staff.

I used the spa facilities. Fantastic. Mamood - the spa manager was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He was able to find the right massage for me. In the end I had a Bali massage and a Hamam. Reena conducted the massage and Hamam and she was wonderful. I felt great the next day. All my stiffness went. I would definitely recommend using the spa facilities.

They cheated me. My girl lost her jacket. I send e mail to them and they found it, but when I came in Istanbul from Bosnia after 2 months they didn't give me the jacket. I showed e mails and the name of mr Serkan who found the jacket but they said call in the evening, call tomorow, and nothing. When I called last time, they didn't answer to my calls. I am so dissapointed. I have e-mails from Your receptionist and he said that jacket found in our room and that I can come to take jacket. You wrote now that there is no jacket. It is not good to lie.

It's been good so far. Some small attention to the cleanliness within the room (e.g. cups) would have been great. But so far its been good. Nice breakfast

Nice modern hotel, good rooms, comfy bed. Starbucks in lobby open 24/7. I enjoyed my stay which was booked by The Clinique. Try out the spa, prices are reasonable & the manager Mehmet is very friendly. The only downside is that there are 2 big stray dogs that sit outside the hotel entrance that is a turn off. There are also some local children who are begging for food and money. Some off the reception staff cannot speak English.

Our stay at this hotel was very good right from the start. After checking in at reception, we were helped by a very kind hearted, efficient young man, his name is Fikri. He took our luggage up to our room, he spoke good English and explained all the hotel facilities. On viewing our room, which had a double bed. I requested if we could have a different room with two single beds; Fikri immediately spoke with reception and instantly sorted this out like magic no fuss no bother took us to the requested room. I then asked if he could tell me where I can get a Turkish SIM card for our phones, he explained the phone package and cost and very kindly sorted this for me. I said we are hungry and would like to eat, he said no problem the restaurant upstairs is open you go and enjoy your meal and I can bring your sim cards there. Within minutes he brought the sim cards. He explained and wrote down what I needed to do to activate them. He even knocked on the door next day to check the SIM cards were working okay. Amazing service I can’t tell you how grateful I was. In fact throughout our stay I knew if we required any help I only needed to ask. He helped with getting us many Taxi’s too. In fact so many things, too many to mention here. He went out of his way to help all guests at the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Fikri is a very intelligent and humble young man; a credit to the hotel. Other staff members were also pleasant and helpful. The manger spoke very good English and was helpful if you needed any assistance. The hotel was lovely and clean. We loved the buffet style breakfast. The other food in the restaurant was not to my taste and could definitely do with improvements. Location is quite good not too far from Istanbul airport and most places we wanted to visit were about 20 minutes away by taxi.

Very helpful staff. Clean room. Language problem. Knowing that this hotel has guests from all over the world, hotel should hire people who understands decent amount of English. Room service is much to be desired. Delays of up to an hour and sometimes more. before requested item reaches your room. Even though I made suggestions about room service, it has remained the same after a two week stay here. I ordered soup that came after an hour. The guy brought fork and knife set which doesn’t have a napkin or salt and pepper. I told him I needed a spoon. He brought the spoon after 20 minutes while the soup gets cold. Of course, he was eager for his tip. Carpets with stains everywhere. Hotel should wash the carpets at least once a month. Overall a decent place.

The Hotel had excellent service all the staff was very nice and friendly I can’t say a bad thing about them, breakfast was amazing nice big buffet and a lot of variety to choose from. The bellboy Ömer particularly went above and beyond to help us I feel like the staff were more like friends or family rather than employees. The hotel also has a Starbucks inside it and a restaurant at the top floor with an amazing view to glance at while dining.
