    I am very disappointed with this hospital. I've been before and they've been great but I came today to get a PCR test done for my trip and when the result came it said it cannot be used for travelling. I called but I had to come back to the hospital. They didn't apologize and the girls were very busy with instagram to care about customer service.

I had this done in two different hospitals before and the procedure is very simple, the report approved by the English Ministry of Health automatically falls into the e-pulse. I went that evening and after waiting 20-25 minutes, I told the gentleman at the head of the table that I needed a test to go abroad and he confirmed if he was abroad. He only asked me for ID, whereas in previous hospitals they also asked for my plane ticket and passport. It surprised me a bit, but I thought the hospital didn't need it, and I didn't ask if I should send my ticket, as the gentleman himself said he was abroad and understood that. The gentleman there had opened my meger registration domestically and therefore did not feel the pulse of the report. We were able to get a report by sending one of our staff to the hospital 3 hours before the flight and thanks to the lady who helped there. Unfortunately, it was very stressful and I called the hospital about 20 times on Saturday and Sunday and the relevant section never opened. The lady at Sisli's counseling told me that she would email me the report 15 minutes later on Saturday night and didn't come back.     This is my third visit to this hospital, which I chose because they accept my insurance and they have English information on their website - so I assumed they had English speaking staff. They do have an international office, which can help foreigners connect with staff who speak their language and translate between them and the doctor. I’m not sure of all the languages they offer, but I know I heard them ask another patient if they want to use English or Russian. It’s a useful service, but it seems like an inconvenient and potentially uncomfortable way to talk to your doctor. I was fortunate because I had a minor issue, but I’m sure it could be awkward if someone needed to discuss a personal or intimate issue since it’s not just the doctor, but the translator as well. In addition, customer service is definitely lacking. Each time I’ve come to the international office, they stared at me and talked in Turkish, both to me and to each other. I assume they’re being helpful, but it’s not the most comfortable situation to have a bunch of people stare at you and talk without actually acknowledging you. A translator came eventually 2 out of 3 times, but once they just sent me upstairs with no directions. I tried to use the signs, but the department I needed wasn’t on the signs - I think it had recently moved to the floor they told me, as it was on a different floor than my previous visit. Because it wasn’t labeled, I had to wander around until I found the department I was looking for. After I found an information desk and tried to speak to them in English, then they called the translator who helped me with my appointment. I also had trouble rescheduling an appointment over the phone. When I called I said I needed to reschedule, but they just told me I already had an appointment. I told them I needed to change it, and they told me the time and date of my current appointment. I called back again and talked to someone else who said they would have to call me back, then I never got a call back. I just didn’t go to my appointment, but it was frustrating because I also didn’t have another time to go back. Eventually I just went back in person, but then I had to schedule an appointment and come back on a different day.     Private hospital seems to be well equiped. Some well known doctors were transfered to hospital. Administrative staff that guiding patients, seems to be, are not well trained, experienced and may not treat you well as expected.

He is a fraud and have some Prabhakar Mishra as his companion. Even he shared his picture in kolan hospital having name on his aprin as Dr. Rahul Ganesha.     I visited Kolan International Hospital several times during the past few months, and I have the following comments, which I hope will be construed as constructive criticism. To start with, the Hospital has a highly professional, warm and dedicated medical staff. In particular, the doctors are highly skillful communicators (to be expected) and they treat patients with respect and high regard to the asynchronicity of information. On the other hand the reception leaves a great deal to be desired. I can say with certainty that this very sensitive unit of the Hospital suffers from immense ineptitude. There is no standard process for meeting patients or making appointments. The reception staff deal with patients with arrogance and disrespect. To them, patients are problems to get rid of, not customers to be cared for. I spent many hours and days waiting for something to happen, received many broken promises, and endured ill treatment by being unjustifiably ignored. Here I am not saying the people at the reception are vile, what I detected is that they lack direction and leadership on how to care for customers, and how important they are -as the main interface with patients- to the success of the Hospital. A few formalized processes for meeting patients and fixing appointments might help. The Hospital monolinguicity is another problem, bearing in mind that more than one quarter of the world population now speak English, insisting on speaking one's mother tongue is something of the past, in our one village world. To be competitive and global, and to have patients as repeat callers on your establishment, you need some staff who are fluent in English and other languages. The idea of having "translators" is absurd, as it hinders, rather than improves the situation. Although they are well meaning and try to help, they constitute a barrier between doctor and patient, which does not help the communication process.     Don’t bother coming here. Rude arrogant staff who don’t speak English I don’t know why they’re called an international hospital. These people are the worst! Just go to another hospital and don’t bother. It was for a very simple reason we came here, have a doctor do a check up as we were feeling a little under the weather. They saw 4 people after we had originally spoke to them and only when I stood in front of the reception and asked why they hadn’t seen to us and served others then they told me that because I don’t speak Turkish I had to wait until someone comes down. Mind you this is after a doctor had already instructed the receptionist to put us in the system so we could be seen. Just don’t bother if you are visiting from abroad!

No one spoke English and they had to get someone on the phone too explain the situation and there was no explanation to be made. The doctor just left.     First, don’t expect them to speak in English at all. Sure nothing is certain right now but I still had rhinoplasty surgery there a couple of days ago and right now I’m recovering but right after the surgery I had a rash allergy on my body and ear, some doctor in emergency assumed it might be even herpes?! ridiculous to a fault, they don’t even know what it is. Just research everything before doing some major surgery, research everything from technical to governmental conditions even the culture of a place cause it will affect 100%. They didn’t take credit cards just cash, keep that in mind also. I did a surgery because there was a lot of influence on me so I didn’t have a choice kinda. but you have. Nevertheless, it is my experience, I hope I will be alright, at the end of the day.

    This hospital is a scam. İ went to make xray and they said to me iniciatially it would cost 700 tl, after when i went to pay they said they did a mistake and it would cost 1000 tl. Plus, they never gave me any medication for the extremelly pain im felling and didnt gave me the xray i asked to have. Very disgracefull hospital!

    A HUGE tourist trap. Don't fall for the fancy translation services. Went there with a very basic complaint with clear UTI symptoms. They first sent us to emergency and charged 300 TLR just to take temperature and BP. Then, they said they need to do extensive testing to diagnose and made a bill of 5,200 TRY ($750) with MRI, CT Scans, X-rays and random tests. I left immediately. Next day, went to a government hospital emergency and got great service and diagnosis for free. If I knew how, I would definitely report this hospital to the authorities. They're running a scam!

    I'm visiting this hospital regularly and I had a colonoscopy examination there which it passed very easily. My doctor is Dr. Mehmet Gök and he's a great gastronologist. Also my translator, Ebru, is a kind woman, I'm lucky I have her as my translator. If you have a private health insurance, I highly suggest this hospital. Although there are some negative points: 1. Talking about some problems can be embarrassing for patients when they can't directly talk to their doctor. I understand that. 2. Their call center is terrible at speaking English.     I arrived last night. What can I say, the hospital is perfect..everything is clean and modern. I'm on the second floor and everybody has been so nice. The nurse's are lovely and very good at taking bloods. I had a bad experience elsewhere getting bloods done but the nurses here are so gentle .
