Yolo Hostel is a fantastic place to stay. The management is wonderful and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s located in Kadikoy, a neighborhood that resembles local life in Istanbul.

This is my second time at Yolo Hostel and when I return to Istanbul, this will be my home again. Staff is great and knowledgeable, great location, beautiful spacious and clean rooms. The in-house cat and coffee are great bonuses to this home away from home experience.

A home away from home, in the form of a really special place. This hostel and the staff stole our heart when we stayed in Istanbul. The beds are really good, the kitchen is well equipped and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The moment we walked in they told us we had a new home for the days to come. Saying that is A, but really doing it and going the extra mile is more than just B. I would encourage everyone to feel home at this amazing hostel. Teşekkürler Yolo Hostel!

I am not sure if I call it a hostel or a home. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. My 5 days stay was great and literally felt like I am in my own home. Located in a place close to center of Kadiköy, market, ferry, bus station and metro is a big plus. I will never have a second guess when choosing where to go next time 😍

Best hostel in Kadikoy. Stayed here for a month. The beds are comfortable, and private thanks to the curtains. No more than 6 beds in a room. The staff is excellent, full of great recommendations and kind. There's a cafe downstairs ideal for relaxing.

One of the best hostel I have ever stayed. The room is very big, definitely makes u to have a feel like home. Bed are comfortable. What's the best if this hostel is the staff! Akif was very welcoming and friendly. He made the whole stay a lot better. Always there for help and with lovely smile. The only issue for the hostel will be the rubbish bin in the toilet is too small.

Yolo is a very good and recommendable hostel. It has good access to public transportation. The staff of this hostel are very polite and always willing to help the guests. (Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed and Mehmet) The dormitories have enough space for each person. The overall cleanliness of the rooms is acceptable and only the bathroom needs more cleaning.

The hostel was perfect - such nice staff who were always happy to help and a joy to chat to! The area was so nice, loads of cafes and a really safe and relaxed feel. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Yolo offers a chill vibe, comfort, and great company from its amazing staff and guests. Ren and Ahmed are excellent, and deeply care about you and the quality of your stay. The location is perfect, and the place offers everything from a cafe where you can work to a refrigerator in your room to store your food. The beds and the showers were especially nice. Definitely recommend!

It is not Hostel, you will find it is your second home. Apart from being the best hostel place i ever had, what makes them outstanding is the cool people manages it and they show a social responsibility as well to offer free cup of tea for people make a stop to rest at the cafe seating. By default it is my roof whenever i visit Istanbul.

Hard to describe properly how great are the people working there : amazingly kind and willing to help, they'll make your stay at Istanbul worth it. More generally, the hostel is clean, well located in a quite area with plenty of things to do or places to go out, has all of the facilities needed. There is a nice common area where you can have a tea, coffee, etc. and easily spend some time with other travellers. The rooms and the bed are comfortable. Thanks again for everything !

A small little hostel hidden in a district you wouldn’t think is worth visiting, until every single local you meet tells you to. It’s hip, has great bars, restaurants and nightlife, and at the same time has its quite alleys and peaceful atmosphere. Yolo hostel feels like an oasis of rest in an otherwise vibrant and sometimes overwhelming city. The staff is super friendly, the beds are great and it’s very clean for Istanbul standards. 5 stars baby!

Kind people. They treated me like family. I was supposed to be volunteering there, but plans changed, and I stayed for three more nights in the staff room with Ahmet, a kind soul. Great location. Quiet yet lively and diverse neighbourhood. If I stayed in Istanbul longer, I'd definitely be there. Would totally recommend!

Such an amazing place I highly recommend if you plan to stay in Istanbul for a few days or for a long term, the staff will help you going through you adventure in the city in the nicest ways and will always have some time to talk with you and share their amazing culture. The accomodations are really good quality and the people staying in the hostel are really open and in a good vibe. Had a great experience at this hostel. Beds were really comfortable, you had a lot of privacy as you had curtains Infront of every bed. The cafe area is also very cozy and the staff is really friendly, they also have a very cute cat. Only downside (depending on what you want from a hostel) is that it is not set up to be like a social youth hostel, so there is not that much socializing going on, although ofcourse you can start the socializing yourself.

What an amazing place. After just one day I can happily rate this hostel 5*, the facilities and room size is astounding (tip floor suite room with jacuzzi inside!) and the employees are the warmest around. I really feel welcomed and look forward to extending my stay, and potentially returning again!

One of the better hostels I've stayed at no doubt. Location is perfect. Kadakoy is a super fun part of town and this is perfectly close to the bars/restaurants and the ferry/busses. Room was solid too, and the staff were some of the kindest I've ever seen. Doesn't really have a big hangout area, but the main floor kinda does the job. Overall, would return anytime.

Very pleasant stay in the 6 bed dorm room. Very clean and comfortable bunks with Privacy curtain that works extremely well. Kettle and fridge in the dorm most helpful. The staff on reception are most welcoming, polite and helpful making the reception area a popular seating area among guests enjoying the coffe and drinks on sale. Plenty of hot water whenever required with soap and shampoo always available. Nice location, very close to the ferries across the river to the European section of the city. A 15 min walk to the main Metro station and 2 minutes to a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants. The surrounding area seems very popular with young professionals, with numerous cafes offering excellent WiFi facilities. A relaxed and safe location with good transport routes to other parts of the city.

Very friendly staff. Clean place. Room are decent size. Price is great. Most importantly the area is really good. So many nice cafes and restaurants with real good prices compare to European side.

It's about the guys who working there, they're so kind and helpful. Btw offering the free tea most of the time, it's a nice thing ! Specially in the winter. Unfortunately I stayed 11 nights and i felt sad for leaving the place so early because you feel it's your own home. I guess everyone must try the place. I'd like to write a review letter but it couldn't express my feelings. Thank you all for the great hospitality and special thanks for Mehmet , Ahmet and Yunus you guys are great and pure.

Yolo was the first hostel I ever stayed in and I loved it. The staff are really nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean. They are open 24/7 and the price is cheap. Absolutely great. Totally recommend it. Will stay there next time again.

Simply the best hostel on Asian side you could ask for. We were 3 of us, we took the family room for a very affordable price. Private bathroom, shampoo, shower gel, towel, everything included. Kitchenette and fridge. And cleanliness 5* We couldnt ask for more Gina, Tina & Charles We'll be back

Super clean place. New beds, and very soft blankets and pillows. The staff was very helpful and hospitable. A fridge and sink to share, with a backdoor and fire escape for smokers. Also pretty close to great restaurants

We stayed there for two nights and I think it is a really special atmosphere! it is familiar and the people who work and chill in the hostel are super nice. They have two hostels in Kadiköy and firstly we were at the smaller one but unfotunately there was no room left. Then the owner brought us, with his car to the other one so we didn't had to carry all our luggage. Thank you really much!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and good location

Excellently located hostel near the Kadikoy harbour. I didn't partake in breakfast but Ahmet was a helpful host, and the private room I booked was spotless.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. I would like to thank the staffs (Mr. Azad, Mr. Ahmet and Mr. Özgür) and they were very helpful. The location of Yolo Hostel is excellent. It is very close to all means of transportation. Within a few minutes, you can access the cafes, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Very nice place cozy and simple with a great location in the assian side so you can be anywhere by walk easily and it’s very clean with great helpful and friendly staff totally recommended and you can leave your bags there if you are traveling internationally or so for 50tl for the night

Me and me wife had a great time here✨ We took a room for two people and it was like a good hotel level experience, but for much lower price. Also the location is amazing. It's a very calm street near the Bosporus, but all the Kadikoy amazing street art and nice places to eat are just in a few minutes away. Metro and fairy are also near, so if you're going to visit other places in Istanbul, you're good to go.

Couldn‘t wish for a better place!The chilled atmoshpere mixed with warm people and nice accomodation made us feel like home. It‘s hard to not have a good time as you stroll around in the area of Kadiköy, have a good conversation in the chill-area or meet the cuddly hostel cat. Make sure to meet Ahmed, not only is he very kind but probably also the best Barista in town:) We really enjoyed to stay at Yolo hostel!

Had a great stay in this hostel, 2 weeks of a very pleasant experience. The rooms are big and spacious. Beds are comfy and bed curtains are such a good thing! The location is very convenient as well: close to the shops, bars, restaurants, ferry station and the bus terminal. The stuff is also very friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. Totally enjoyed my stay there! Would highly recommend.

Great hostel! The location is perfect, the beds are compfy, the staff is amazing and the other guests are respectful and friendly. I loved staying here and would come back any time. Planned to stay for 3 nights, ended up staying for weeks.

It was the greatest, most heartwarming, pittoresque hostel I have ever experienced. The staff consisted of a group of kind and welcoming people. The rooms were new and clean, and our every need was met. The location is very central and every atttaction in the city is easily reached. I don't think I've ever gotten better value for money. Hope to stay here again soon!

Very cosy and friendly place. Staff is great and helpful. The place itself is clean and warm. Sleeping pods are comfortable, location is very good too. Kitchen is a bit on the smaller side, but it has all the cooking necessities and is never too busy anyway.

I spent over two weeks in this little hostel in central Kadıköy and I could not have asked for better. All the staff is absolutely kind, the little common room downstairs is cozy and perfect for enjoying a warm coffee or tea, and the secret little garden in the back is a jem. I stayed in the mix 6 beds dorm which has its own bathroom. The beds are very comfortable with a curtain for privacy. The position is simply perfect, very central.

The staff make you feel as if you're home and are incredibly helpful. The location is wholesome and in a perfect spot to see everything with amazing food places around. It's also clean and well maintained! Thanks Yolo!

The hostel is the best in Istanbul! The rooms and facilities are new and very clean. Wifi is strong in the cafe downstairs and in the dorms. The neighborhood is wonderful and the location is very close to the Kadiköy ferry terminal and busses to the airport or anywhere else in Turkey. My friend Mr. Ahmet and all of the other staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I will be staying here whenever I am in Istanbul again for sure!
