It's a nice cafe in a green garden setting where people with Down Syndrom are also employed to support them in social life. This cafe business was designed by Uskudar Municipal Office and ran by their staff. Clean, green, quite cafe offers simple breakfast, lunch, desserts and beverages. Prices are not high. I had a small toasted wholewheat bread sandwich with feta cheese n tomato and a small glass of turkish black tea which cost me around 10TL. It's also good to see they have himalayan salt, olive oil, pomagranate nectar at each table. Place has a private car parking area, outdoor and indoor tables, toilets, wheelchair friendly entrance and lots of safe outdoor lawn area for your children to play. This is a Muslim friendly cafe, majority of the lady clients are totaly covered. I would come back here with family and friends. Tebessüm Café ist ein tolles Sozialprojekt, welches vom Stadtbezirk Üsküdar ins Leben gerufen wurde. Das Besondere ist, dass hier viele Mitarbeiter mit Down-Syndrom beschäftigt werden. Der Stadtbezirk unterstützt die Beschäftigung dieser Personen und deren Integration in die Gesellschaft. Dieses einzigartige Projekt wird von einem abwechslungsreichen Café Konzept unterstützt. Das Menü ist sehr bunt (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes :)) und die Aufbereitung der Gerichte einfach gut. Die Preise sind sehr niedrig, da es sich um ein Sozialprojekt der Stadt handelt, allerdings schadet dieses in keinster Weise der Qualität. Es schmeckt auch noch sehr gut hier. Die Einrichtung ist ebenfalls sehr sehenswert. Das freundliche Personal und die bunte Einrichtung verzaubern einem einfach ein Lächeln ins Gesicht, wie der Name des Café‘s sagt („Tebessüm“ bedeutet übersetzt „Lächeln“). Hier kann man gut mit der Familie und Kindern hingehen, weil das Grundstück eingezäunt ist, somit von der Straße abgeschottet und es einen interessanten Spielplatz gibt direkt vorm Café. Dieses Café ist definitiv einen Besuch wert und sollte unterstützt werden, damit weitere solcher schönen Projekte ins Leben gerufen werden.

Great place to eat with your family. Very tasty meals and prices are quite low. And customer service is incomparable - helped me to order food and kept my lost hat until I came back for it.

One of the most beautiful places that i visited recently.. if you visit this place you will never stop smiling inside, all workers have down syndrome, it a great idea to support these nice guys, they really make you smile and happy.

This place is a coffe house run by the municipality and its staff has that extra pair of chromosomes (down syndrome)... Food is nice, I suggest it for brunches, has a small playing area for kids... Every visit supports the staff...

This place is my refuge. I love to go there all the time. It the place where I take all my important guests. I hope it stays as it is.
