Not
the
cheapest
place
for
a
workout
but
it’s
a
fully
functional
gym
in
the
heart
of
Old
Istanbul
that
caters
to
tourists
with
a
decent
range
of
equipment
(though
there
doesn’t
seem
to
be
a
squat
rack).
Ample
benches
and
dumbbells.
Equipment
is
slightly
dated
and
the
gym
could
do
better
with
more
ventilation.
There
are
2
branches
-
each
1
tram
stop
away
from
either
direction
of
the
Grand
Bazaar.
Staff
were
welcoming.
I
personally
prefer
the
Laleli
branch
as
it’s
larger,
offers
a
nice
view
of
the
Sea
of
Marmara
and
has
better
ventilation
(situated
on
the
5th
floor
of
a
building
and
you
can
open
the
windows)
Showers
are
clean
enough
with
hot
water
provided
and
sufficient
privacy.
But
the
floors
can
be
really
wet
and
you’d
have
to
bring
your
own
toiletries.
There’s
also
a
mini
cafe
at
the
entrance
where
you
can
order
protein
drinks
for
muscle
recovery
post
workout.
