So
Michelin
star
clearly
seems
to
be
a
marker
of
a
top
place
to
eat.
At
least
this
is
how
I
used
to
think.
Seafood
orzo
was
as
simple
as
rice
from
usual
canteen.
What
it
consisted
of
was:
one
huge
shell
with
tiny
mussel
(honestly,
i
had
never
seen
such
a
striking
difference,
mussel
itself
was
like
1/5
of
the
shell);
one
small
shrimp,
and
orzo
itself.
That's
it.
No
need
to
say
that
the
portion
was
really
small,
it's
usual
for
such
places.
What
about
taste?
Well,
fine,
nothing
special.
Price?
750
TL
approximately.
I
would
have
preferred
to
eat
3
balik
ekmeks.
My
partner
ordered
jumbo
shrimps.
Now
shrimp
size
was
impressing
but
i
have
no
idea
how
to
describe
the
taste
since
there
was
none.
I
mean
it
wasn't
bad
or
good,
it
was
totally
insipid.
Anymore
interesting
things?
Hell
yeah!
Despite
the
fact
that
bringing
water
and
bread
with
cheese/butter
without
asking
whether
customers
want
it
and
adding
it
to
the
final
check
is
considered
to
be
something
normal
in
Istanbul,
restaurant
with
michlenne
star
seemed
like
a
place
where
this
"nice"
tradition
is
not
valid.
Of
course
I
was
mistaken.
I
suppose
it
added
like
150
TL
to
the
final
check.
I
asked
the
waiter
about
the
stuff
in
the
check
that
we
didn't
order,
since
there
had
been
cases
when
waiters
simply
removed
these
"presents".
Well,
didn't
work.
He
just
shrugged
his
shoulders
and
pointed
to
the
bread,
cheese,
napkins
(and
seemingly
all
the
other
flatware
on
the
table).
Surprisingly
(no)
service
was
included
either.
To
put
it
simply,
this
is
not
what
you
expect
from
miclene
star
restaurant
(yeah,
I'm
pointing
it
out
again).
All
things
considered,
it
was
one
of
the
worst
dining
experiences
in
Istanbul
(and
my
life
too,
to
be
brutally
honest).
P.S.
The
view
is
good
though.
