Didn't try burrito and tortillas, but the taco was amazing. All 4 flavors, but my favorite is the meet. Halloumi was great, too. Lovely place. Ruby jan is very welcoming and friendly. The sauces on tacos were amazing. Prices could be a bit lower, but it's fine for what it is.

Beautiful place. Very unusual food. I recommend to taste both Mexican veggie soup and vegetable pasta, if they are available when you come. Taco is also good. I haven't yet tried Tortilla, but I think it's also excellent 🙂 After main dishes, the owner suggested to try Brownie, and it was really good brownie, not too sweet, not too bitter

The service was 10/10! But…they served cheesy Doritos which was my first indication that this was going to be the Turkish version of Mexican food. We got the beef tacos and the chicken burrito. The tacos tasted good but not Mexican/Central/South American. The hot sauce on the tacos was more of an Asian red hot sauce rather than a Mexican hot sauce. There was also pickled onions on the tacos which in my opinion would have been better if they had been fresh. The burrito was also good but over all the flavors weren’t Central/South American. The highlight of both of these dishes was the meat. It was really delicious and flavorful. In general the food was good but if you’re looking for real tacos this unfortunately isnt the place.

The best taco & burrito i ever had! Super nice place in a quiet area. Delicious food and very welcoming people always with a smile on their face. During our 1 week trip to Istanbul we visited Taco & Tortilla 2 times, so we tried burritos, chicken & beef tortilla & soup of the day. Definitely coming back not just for the food but also for the people♥️

We had one of the most amazing nights here. Tacos were very tasty and home made, Zafir chef and owner of the place was very welcoming and interesting, we had an amazing conversation. I truly recommend this place as a moment in time where you find fresh food in a cozy restaurant but with all you could need to have a chill night in Istanbul.

Awesome place! 10/10 Very friendly, polite and english-speaking staff! The tacos tasted really fresh, good and with allot flavour. Burrito was also very good. Good veggie options as well. Place itself looks very cute and clean in a more quite area. Would recommend!

This place has the best burritos I've had outside the US. I've been to every country in Europe, and Crazy Nate's in Nuremburg is the only one that comes close. Granted, they're not traditional Mexican burritos, but they scratched the itch. I couldn't place some of the spices used, but the hot sauce was great, and all the flavors worked very well together. It's a bit small inside, but a lovely ambience. Get them to go if it's busy, but don't miss out! We'll be back for sure. It's a real shame we can't get them delivered where we live, or we'd eat this food every day.

What’s pleasant surprise to find Mexican food in Istanbul Bişkıtaş area. The food is a fusion of Mexican and Turkish flavors but very thoughtfully done. We ordered: beef tacos, Haloomi cheese taco and chicken burrito. Each had its own unique great taste, but the gold medal goes to the chicken burrito. It was a bit warm day we we had just hiked up from The port through the park,so we ordered waters and soda. I wished we had ordered some of the smoothies they offer. The owners are extremely friendly and quick to help or answer any questions. The outdoor seating is shaded which offered great relief from the heat.

The food are nice, I recommend the experience, the place is very beautiful and cozy, the hospitality is very excellent, Robby was genius, Polite and professional host, I came by Ahmed comment, thank you Robby and Ahmed

Must come here! I had the most amazing burrito and homemade lemonade for a very reasonable price. The tastiest food I've had in Istanbul so far!! The chef/owner is also very nice

Cozy, stylish open restaurant. Combines several types of cuisine, specialized as you probably already understood on tacos 🌮 and tortillas, and I should admit they are very good. We tried ones with beef. In addition they have soup, pasta and rise. Veggy options also there. Home made ayran is something you definitelly want to try.

Had the vegetable soup and burrito. Delicious food made with good ingredients. The wonder Zafir was really friendly. We chatted for a bit and he mentioned that AOC was there the other day. Pretty cool since I was visiting from the states myself :)

This place is sooo good. I’ve been missing tacos ever since I moved to Istanbul and this place is the best out of the four places I’ve been to in turkey. The chef is so nice and made me a special mock tail which I’m obsessed with. The tacos are not exactly like Mexican tacos but they still hit the spot. as I was coming in there was a Mexican family leaving saying they loved the tacos so that should confirm it !

I found this lovely eatery by coincidence and I was extremely happy with it. Located in a silent but cosy neighborhood, it offers you fresh and delicious tacos (and burritos that I didn’t try yet) and wonderful service. the chef (owner) of it is a super sweet and kind gentleman. I will go again and try the other dishes.

Everything was sensational! I had Spanish tortilla, tacos and nachos with a friend. Soooo delicious. The ladies were so warm, you feel like you are eating at home :) The prices are OK too :) Should try!

Friendly staff. She is half Dutch and Spaniard who has a Turkish husband. They are such friendly people and their food tasted delicious. We ordered nachos and then beef burrito, veggie burrito and veggie bowl. They had jalapeño and other delicious sauces. It’s rare finding Mexican food in Istanbul but this place is really nice. The decor is very nice !

Great owner . So kind . Cute ambiance. Started off with some tea (with saffron)and biscuits . Got a mix burrito (chicken and beef) and a halloumi taco. Highly recommend the place. Great for a quick bite . Fusion style. Burrito was great .. on the healthier side and not greasy

Am sitting outside Taco & Tortilla after having had a really good meal. The restaurant is a little gem. The atmosphere is really pleasant. The owner is friendly and clearly committed to supplying good service and good food at a reasonable price. Without a doubt Taco & Tortilla is the best value for money we have found in a restaurant in the last three weeks.

Fresh food and professional service, an elegant and wonderful place, and the food is home-made by the owner of the restaurant and also he was friendly and and kind. I am a connoisseur and critic of food, and my opinion is without courtesy. I am 100% sure that you will not regret tasting food from here, a wonderful experience and I will back again to taste it every time that I visit Istanbul

If you’re craving for tacos in Istanbul, this is the place to go. Great flavors and amazing service. My husband and I tried the meat burritos, nachos and we shared a chili chocolate brownie. Everything was delicious and the owners really nice people

A very cosy and friendly, good atmosphere place. The food was absolutely wonderful. You can also enjoy their very fresh and healthy smoothies. As soon as you enter to the café you will receive a very warm welcome from the owner, a very lovely couple, and they make you feel you are at home. Will definitely visit again!

I had some tacos and really enjoyed it! The meat was good quality, ingredients fresh, nice vibe and good price as well. The owner was really friendly and even treated me with a smoothie and dessert. Def will be there again!

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I've tried most items on the menu, and chef Robby always delivers delicious food very quickly and with a smile on his face. Everything from the food, the decor, and even the cats outside the restaurant, is top notch. I would highly recommend.

Just ate there. The chef was very helpful, attentive and always had a smile on his face. The service was great. The beef burrito I ate there was absolutely delicious, best one I’ve eaten in Istanbul by far. I also really enjoyed the cozy, home-like (as the chef said) ambiance of the place. It made me very comfortable and gave me really good vibes. If you ever want Mexican food in Istanbul, visit here. I can’t recommend it enough.
