Nicely located in a modern young district of Istanbul. Very quiet area. The food is good and inexpensive. The only thing I must bother about: mostly outside but also inside, everything is full of cats. They bother you when you eat. They lay on the cushions of the seats, jump in the table. I only eat inside. Quite frankly: it's disgusting. At least not inside they should accept any cats. People might have a cat hair allergy!

Very unsafe experience at this hostel. There was a crazy guy in our dorm and the owner refused to kick him out. The guy was verbally threatening us at 3-4am when we asked him to be quiet. This happened multiple nights. We got a refund but the other guest was allowed to stay. Not cool. The bathroom in the dorm rooms also stinks badly.

A bit pretentious, some of the staff wasn’t that friendly. I think especially mainly because I’m wearing the hijab...Price was a bit high for the service. But I did like the breakfast and the room was cosy though. Their lunch & dinner was mediocre.

The hotel is a hidden gem in Moda. The superb location allows you make your own choice between relaxing at the coast line away from the wild crowd of the central Moda or getting right into it to enjoy and socialize as you’d like. The rooms have some room to be improved—as classic style bed frames makes it a bit harder to move in the room, but the hotel and their kitchen offer a pleasant stay overall. Highly recommended.

Nice hostel, with cozy atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff! Located just by the sea, amazing view to walk around the marina and sport facilities. Food is also tasty, recommend this place for a calm stay in Istanbul!

None of the staff wears face masks, not the receptionist, not waitresses, not the cook. They asked us to wait at the lobby while they were checking the room to see if it was ready. We got in the room and there was not even hand soap. There was only a half used toilet paper. They think they live in a parallel universe where there is no Covid-19. Even if the staff is fully vaccinated which I don’t think they are, they should wear masks and pay attention to the hygiene measures. The bed was so uncomfortable and noisy. Overall it doesn’t worth the money, not even a bit. There are much better places to stay at their half price in the neighborhood.

It's a good and relaxing place to have a meal or just coffee. It's beside moda seaside. It is located in a very calm area.

Juliette is an interesting place because while I was hoping for a more social experience, (as many people who visit hostels do) I still really like this place regardless of the fact that it was definitely not designed to be a social hostel. Juliet is for the traveler who's not really looking to make friends but is looking to have a very comfortable stay, this is a very high-quality hostel with great beds and daily changes + big clean bathrooms. The atmosphere of the hostel and it's surrounding area is a relaxed, quite vibe, unlike the party atmosphere of many other hostels in the city.

Located in an unconventional setting, this establishment might leave you feeling a bit perplexed. One peculiar feature that stands out is the attitude of the owner, who appeared to have a rather idiosyncratic approach to customer service. Specifically, rather than moving a table merely a meter away to shelter patrons from the rain, the owner seemingly insisted that customers remain seated in the elements. This unusual behavior might strike some as eccentric or even frustrating, but it undoubtedly adds a unique element to the overall experience. Despite this unorthodox behavior, the quality of the cuisine itself was adequate. The flavors and presentation of the dishes were enjoyable, and the overall dining experience was satisfactory. All in all, while the idiosyncrasies of the establishment might catch you off guard, the food alone may be enough to make it worth a visit.

If you are looking for a calm and beautiful place especially on the weekends, here might be one of your best choices. Staff are so nice and helpful. Price is very reasonable and as our breakfast was so delicious we forgot to take a photo:))

We absolutely loved their cafe! Cozy and stylish interior, friendly and caring service, delicious food :) I took Turkish yogurt soup which was very unusual and tasty, and avocado salad. The portion was substantial, fresh ingredients, lots of greens and vitamins. We even took away chicken quesadillas for dinner and it was tasty though being cold. They also have very atmospheric and green terrace and wonderful quite location ,just one minute away from the beach. They also provide accommodation and we will consider it for our next trip to Istanbul and will definitely come again to the cafe.

Very nice hotel. There is a cafe on the ground floor. Good location near the the sea and close to the central part of the Moda district. Stylish and beautiful design of the hotel and cafe. I recommend it

The hotel has perfect location - literally a few steps from the bay. The design, comfort, food and quality of the service are absolutely impeccable. Boutique in the real sense of the meaning. 11 out of 10!!!

The room we had was very expensive for what it was. You don't expect a broken chair on the balcony covered in cigarette ash (see pic) when you pay €150 for a night. Sea view was limited (see pic). Service was basic. Neither breakfast (not included in the price) nor dinner menu looked appealing so we went elsewhere.

Very nice, comfortable place to stay and very comfy bed, but it is far from center and has a 15-20 minute walk away. Furthermore I personally think 50 TL for a 1L of water is absurd and nonsense.

I lived in the hostel for 3 weeks and I'm satisfied. The room and bathroom were always clean, plenty of storage space, there are lights and outlets near the beds. The room itself was quite dark, but I didn't spend much time there during the day. And the wi-fi sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. So don't count on it too much - often video communication was difficult to get through it. Polite staff, excellent service, constantly helped during the accommodation with various questions. There was an opportunity to give them things for dry cleaning. There was a restaurant in the lobby where I had breakfast every day. The prices there are above average, but all the food is very good, no regrets.

Well, I am in a positive shock of politeness of hotel staff. I was welcomed by Feiza with a smile and offered welcome coffee or tea. After in a second appeared Emran, offering help and made check-in with care and explaining where I could hang around. He took my luggage and showed my room/bed. I couldn't believe he gave me slippers and towel, bcs in a hostel there is nothing included - from my hostel room experience. Then I ordered food-delicious manti. Defne served me with a kind smile and care. The room is very clean with necessary things. The yeard of the hotel is very pleasant. The hotel has very friendly atmosphere. Love this place, food and staff. I highly recommend Juliet Rooms & Kitchen to everyone.) Thank you providing a great service and homefeeling stay! Best regards from me!;)

The place is located in Kadıköy that it’s a very safe area where good educated people live. The hostel is nearby the coast as well as the city center (walking distance). The quality of the hostel is good. They offer single rooms (higher price) but also female sleeping rooms for max 6 people. I stayed at the last one for 280 liras per night. The rooms are small but hygienic, and were cleaned every day. The sleeping room is located at -1 level, the air is humid. The staff consists of young, nice, friendly people. Their English level is oke. You can easily communicate with them. Breakfast is not included in the price, however they have a nice cafe offering a nice menu for breakfast and lunch. The prices are oke, you can find cheaper food in the center of the city, but the breakfast is definitely worth to try if you stay there. The price/quality ratio is very good.

It is an excellent place to stay. The location is in the middle of Kadıköy but still on a very peaceful water side street. The owner is always there to help you with his friendly attitude. The place is also great for food. Def recommended!

This place has excellent quality rooms for the price with the downside that its a bit of a hike to go to places of interest. That being said, service is excellent and staff were able to call taxis readily. A very good option to stay in Moda.

An incredible and charming place with friendly staff and a beautiful setting. I felt completely welcome the entire time I was there. With less than a minute’s walk to the Sea of Marmara and about 15 minutes away from Kadiköy port, I would recommend anyone considering staying in a hostel in Istanbul go stay here.

I stayed at Juliet’s rooms and kitchen and ended up extending my stay i loved it so much. Super comfy dorm room and bed with privacy curtain. Friendly staff happy to help with any of your concerns. Felt very safe as a woman walking alone day and night in this neighbourhood If you’re worried about being out of Istanbul centre, don’t be. This is one of the nicest areas of Istanbul with great cafe and bar culture and is an easy walk/ ferry across the the centre. There’s also a path along the water just down from the hostel you can have picnic, run, walk or watch the sunset. The aesthetic of the hostel/cafe is super cute and the food is very nice also! It’s a no brainer!

We booked it as a family on Expedia, and the hotel confirmed my booking and then cancelled it without a notice or a reason while we are on our way to Istanbul which is too late to get another deal. Poor management.

Very friendly environment and tasty food. The room was small and had a problem with controlling the AC and caught cold during the night. Another issue which I did not like was the transparent and glass walls of the bathroom. Your partner can openly understand what you are doing there... kinda not very comfortable. Although the location seems very reachable on the map, it's not.
