Not
five-star
quality
but
it’s
okay
if
you’re
a
regular
guest.
Big
no
if
you’re
a
Marriott
elite
member.
Good
points
first:
location
is
good,
near
metro,
and
room
is
okay
(not
as
big
as
people
describe),
city
view,
restaurant
is
great
and
the
bartenders
are
extremely
friendly
and
lovely.
Shout
out
to
them!
Now..
the
bad.
Maybe
it
was
my
experience
but
I
didn’t
feel
like
I
received
the
elite
experience
I’m
used
to
from
Marriott
except
for
the
complimentary
breakfast
and
the
open
bar/drinks
(in
lieu
of
the
closed
club
lounge).
I
had
informed
them
that
I
wanted
to
make
this
a
special
stay
for
my
elderly
mother
(a
first-time
traveller)
but
we
got
standard
quality
that
we
could
have
got
at
any
other
3
star
hotel
or
local
stays
with
inclusive
breakfast.
Worst
worst
worst
part
is
the
staff’s
English.
It’s
very
hard
to
communicate
or
make
simple
requests.
They
constantly
check
for
the
room
number.
Even
when
I
start
the
conversation
with
what
my
room
number
is,
the
same
person
asks
about
it
again
the
next
minute.
Maybe
it’s
the
English
and
the
fact
that
the
person
didn’t
catch
what
I
said.
It’s
still
annoying
-
to
an
unforgivable
level.
I’ve
been
to
Marriott
hotels
in
several
non-English
speaking
countries
but
Sheraton
Levent
has
been
by
far
the
worst
in
terms
of
communication.
When
I
made
service
requests
on
the
app
to
avoid
speaking
with
the
staff,
it
took
hours
and
I
had
to
call
them
anyway
to
remind
them
or
make
the
request
again.
At
some
point,
I
stopped
making
requests
altogether
even
when
I
needed
shampoo
or
conditioner
to
shower!
My
mother
and
I
had
to
do
with
the
one
loofah
they
brought
after
daaaaays
of
making
a
request
of
2.
And
after
my
toothbrush
got
tainted
with
my
lipstick,
I
made
two
requests
for
dental
kits
and
they
didn’t
bring
any
either
times.
Again,
leaving
me
suffer
without
a
toothbrush.
On
my
last
day,
they
didn’t
record
my
late
checkout.
It
took
some
effort
to
explain
to
the
receptionist
that
I’m
an
elite
member
with
the
benefit
of
late
checkout.
And
they
also
took
my
name
out
of
the
club
members
list
by
on
my
check-out
day!
And
even
though
the
bartender
saw
me
several
times
for
5
nights,
they
still
asked
me
about
my
room
number
twice!!!
When
she
saw
I
was
annoyed,
she
eventually
apologized
and
informed
me
that
it
was
probably
a
mistake
that
my
room
number
is
not
on
the
list.
I
checked
out
on
the
verge
of
tears.
Their
constant
room
number
verification,
stunted
communication,
and
their
disregard
of
my
requests
left
me
regretting
my
hotel
decision.
The
assistant
manager
wanted
to
open
a
discussion
during
check-out
but
I
was
too
frustrated
and
sad
at
this
point.
He
awarded
me
3000
points
to
make
up
for
my
discomfort
but
honestly,
I
don’t
care
for
those
points.
After
several
unfortunate
incidents
at
this
Marriott
chain
and
a
previous
chain
in
the
US,
I
doubt
I’ll
continue
to
be
a
loyal
Marriott
member.
I
recommend
staying
at
a
smaller
hotel
in
Taksim
area
close
to
the
metro
station.
If
you’re
an
elite
member
looking
for
benefits,
have
a
try
at
Marriott
Sisli
hotel.
