I thought a lot before writing this review as I didn't want to harm the hotel or its management, but what happened with me there has to be spoken of so others who plan to stay there can know the story. I stayed there recently for 8 nights and overall experience was good. However, towards the end of my trip I had a big amount of money stolen from me from two different bags from inside my room. Now I would understand that police weren't much of help given I didn't have concrete proofs of the incident, yet I expected more from the hotel to investigate and get to the bottom of it given they have access to cameras and staff movement. In the end, I am short many thousand dollars after I left the hotel, and I know by heart it was stolen inside hotel, and will not be getting any of it back. I will definitely not be returning to the hotel and would advise everyone else to think twice before booking.

The location is superb. The hotel is beautiful and unique. Definitely a special category type of hotels. It’s not that big but the rooms are beautiful. The style and decor are definitely unique and classy. It does have an 18th century feel to it. The main door is located on the main Istiklal street and everything is right there in front of you. Surprisingly there’s no noise at all. The room is just beautiful. Small in size but has everything you need. The receptionist was kind and nice to grant us a free early check in. Room service wasn’t the best though. Beds weren’t probably arranged the next day..for instance Overall, it was a nice experience staying in this hotel 3 nights in Taksim. Definitely coming again.

The hotel looks nice, the room is nice as well. The service is good. The awfullest part of our vacations is the nights. There is very loud music from nearby located club. I feel like I am sleeping in nightclub. If you want to sleep during the night, it’s better to choose another hotel

Nice hotel and friendly staff. However, due to the noise from the street I didn’t get a proper nights sleep here for the 6 nights we stayed (and despite being moved to a quieter room). The staff did try to help but, even with ear plugs, loud club music could be heard every night from 10pm - 5am.

Hotel right in the center of the very busy Istiklal Street. Not far from tram and metro. Great location and very friendly service for that price. Rooftop breakfasts are a nice start to the day. Unfortunately, the coffee is weak. A small downside is the noise from clubs and the street. You will get earplugs for free at the reception. In this price class, I sincerely recommend it

The courtyard rooms were so quiet, despite the area of the city being quite busy (in a good way). Loved the location, the staff was incredible! They arranged a great pick up and airport drop off that was so helpful and easy (and affordable compared to other options!). Perfectly positioned to walk to all the great restaurants, tourist spots, museums, and food. Our room was gorgeous, rooftop bar was a great place to end the night (and have one of the bartenders amazing cocktails). We will stay again!

Mr Cas Hotel in Istanbul, situated in the heart of the city, offers an excellent experience with luxurious rooms. The central location makes it convenient for exploring. The hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a high-quality stay.

You have to accept upfront that there will be noise from the clubs. Earplugs supplied free. But location on Istiklal is priceless. Literally on the doorstep of shops and restaurants; 15min walk from Galata Tower and 10min walk to Taksim square. Rooms are true boutique-style gems with generous space and beautiful bathrooms. Daily clean up is superb. Management helped us out immediately once previous hotel that was booked turned out to he a scam, without overcharging. Huge porter guy was sweet and helped us load our luggage.

My brother and i have reservations at Mr Cas in taksim from September 2nd until September 7. We were hoping to get the vintage experience as I read online but were greeted by a dirty room instead. I couldnt believe the sanitary conditions of our rooms as online this hotel preaches otherwise. We have two rooms reserved and my brother completely left the hotel because he was given a room smaller than we booked. He also found hair in his bathroom floor and the floors were dirty. We also found ear plugs under our bed. There are coffee stains on the walls. The table has dust all over the bottom etc.

One of the most beautiful boutique hotels in all of Turkey. People who are leaving bad reviews just have bad taste. Veydat and Mustafa in the lounge on the gorgeous 4th floor lounge are the most welcoming, friendly and fun hotel staff you'll ever meet.

Very noisy from nearby clubs from 10pm to 6am every day, even with earplugs the noise is apparent. Breakfast is good however they don’t make it clear that coffee and juice is extra!

Probably one of the worst 4 star hotels I've been in. Super noisy, the wood floor of the room is very old and you cannot walk without making noise, the A/C didn't work and on the room next door there was a family of 5 (in a room for 2 people). I asked for a room with garden view and got a room with a view to the emergency stairs in the back. The only nice thing was that I left on the 2nd day and they refunded me the full amount of the reservation.

Best hotel, with history. Many details, y can make a lot of original photos. WoW!!! So my mark is: Interior - 5 Booking, cleaning - 5 Place - 5 *** Rooms with "view on garden" very quiet. Sleeping was very good. Recommend this place as the best 👍 *** Guests From Russia with ❤️

A Hidden Gem in Istanbul! If there is one hotel that you should stay at it is this one. The staff is incredible and the hotel is a journey through history. 100% Recommend

Awesome. I was searching for something special and I found it) Nice and helpful receptionists, historical interiors, roof terrace, central street with “anything you want” by hand. Will definitely come back when in Istanbul. P.S. better to take garden view rooms as the street is not quite at all))

Genuinely, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. If you like boutique hotels, I highly Mr Cas. The hotel is located in a renovated, early 20th century building on one of Istanbul’s main streets- Istiklal. Everything is exemplary of Turkish hospitality - the staff did everything to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They organised a transfer from the airport, arranged a regularly-priced cab for everywhere we needed to go, catered to our every need etc. Looking forward to coming back. The breakfast was amazing!

I liked our stay at Mr Cas hotel. The room is not that big.. no place to put our luggage. And the room has small window. But that was not a problem at all. Direct and easy access to all shops in istikalal road. Room rate is very affordable.

Wonderful hotel!! Me and my friends were extremely pleased with the hotel! the rooms were beautiful and very clean. the room staff came by every day and cleaned/tidyed up making your stay look very luxury when in reality it's a value for money hotel. we ate both breakfast and dinner and both were excellent, the food and the aesthetics of the place. It is located in a very central spot, on Istiklal street . it is very convenient for wherever you want to move. there is also security during the evening hours which gives you peace of mind. finally the service was very good. the staff both at the reception and in the service were polite with humor and intention to help us with every question we had about the city. perfect experience! if we come back to istanbul we will definitely visit this hotel again! congratulations! Thanks you honestly ❤️

Highly recommended! I wish there was 5 more stars to rate! 3 nights at Mr.Cas was an epic experience even though i wouldn’t get enough less than a week ☺️ The building itself, rooms, the roof top restaurant/bar with a great view, delicious foods & coctails & breakfast, every single detail has been well thought for your pleasure. The rooms are clean, the bed is super comfy. As the hotel is in the heart of Istiklal Street, it may be noisy at some periods of the day but we were only amazed by the church bells instead. The location is right in the middle of everything you might want to discover like restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, historical places,…etc. Easy access to many places with public transportation. The crew was always kind and helpfull from check-in to check-out. 🙏 It’s been nailed as delightful in my memory. Looking forward to go to İstanbul and visit Mr.Cas Hotel again. PS. You can note this place for your special events like wedding, celebrations, etc. too.

Great location and a beautiful interior. We had a view on Istiklal street, if you have so it's beautiful, but be aware that in front of the hotel is a nightclub with loud music, but the hotel’s staff took care of this and left earplugs on a table

I have been I have been in many hotels in Istanbul. But this was without any doubt my very best experience. Located in the heart of Istanbul at the bustling Istiklal, I had a room facing to the garden which was absolutely quiet. The room itself shows antique and very tasteful details and a marble bathroom with a huge shower. The entire hotel spreads over 4 levels and features so lovely details like paintings, fine carpets, a little museum, artworks and clearly shows its palace history. I enjoyed one of the most diverse and rich breakfasts I have ever seen. Tasty and healthy options, also here with the finest details, and an impeccable, always friendly service. Doğukan Mundeden from thereception team made this stay genuinely perfect, He took care of every wish and request and went absolutely above and beyond!

I fell absolutely in love with this place. From first stepping in to the beautiful hallway you already forget about the big shopping street outside. Everything is tastefully decorated and the story of Mr Cas adds even more style. Staff was so kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous with a high sealing, great big bathroom, comfortable bed and beautiful wall stuccatures. The breakfast was one of the prettiest I've seen and kitchen staff made the extra effort to communicate to us which dishes were vegan friendly. The same restaurant is a great evening vibe too and they make great cocktails. Already looking forward to the day we will be back. :)

Nice hotel with fantastic style. It is and old house and many famous people stay there. It’s in heart of Istiklal street that it means at night you can’t sleep because of the sounds of bars and discos. But I really love the location and view of the rooms . I know Mr Kamal he was so kind and helped us a lot

Nice and cozy. Check rooms before final check in is always recommended in all hotels.

Little niche hotel built in a historic building right in the heart of Istiklal Street. Motor vehicles can only come on side street so luggage has to be manually wheeled.

Very nice stay, we’ve discovered this hotel by chance, while walking in Istanbul looking for an hotel because the one we booked was full 🙄 And surprisedly it’s a really beautiful hotel with nice staff, the guy we met at the reception was really kind and make all his possible to make our stay happy. A bit noisy at night due to the club and bars around. We even booked some activities with him. He has booked restaurant for us and calling taxi 🚖 Thank you Kemal for making our trip in turkey easier. 🤩 Would definitely recommend around 😌

When arriving at this hotel, be more attentive to the money left in the room. We were left without $200, which we left in the documents in the room. The second family, who were on vacation with us, was stolen 20,000₽, 250€ and $100. The hotel staff refused to respond adequately to the loss of money. Realizing that the money cannot be returned, I want to warn people who want to settle here! Think about another hotel or don't leave money even in the room safe. It should be noted that the Russian-speaking staff of the hotel, in the person of the administrator Gulnara, refused to come at all and sort out the incendet. She called us (two victims of the theft) liars on the phone and did not help in any way with the police and the protocol. I had to resolve the issue ourselves with an interpreter and sit in the police for 6 hours.

I loved the place , vintage and very stylish place to stay in , the food was great we had breakfast two times there and it was amazing , the staff are really nice and helpful, especially Mr verdat very nice, friendly and kind, when you meet up with him in the morning you start your day smiling with positive energy… location is great though the fact that a club night is facing the hotel on the other side of the street can’t let you have a peaceful night sleep you will sleep in loud music which made my nights miserable apart from that everything is wonderful, I highly recommend it

Extraordinary hotel! Rooms are spacious and the entire concept and design is exquisite. Location is perfect, in the middle of Istiklal caddesi - famous street for shopping. We had a a garden view room and it was quite and the view was beautiful. Staff is friendly and prompt. Truly recommend it!

The experience first started a little off, but once the team ( burack, Baki and a third one I can’t recall his name 🫣) knew they immediately changed the entire experience. The team were very helpful, made sure my parents were comfortable in their rooms, arranged for transportation from and to the airport and even fixed us a crib for my nephew. The only down thing is that the breakfast doesn’t have many options . Other than that the facility is located at the centre of Isteklal street, very well maintained and the team is amazing and extremely nice specially to kids!

Easily one of the best hotel experiences I ever had! Perfect service, an exceptional room and in the buzz of one of the most vibrant cities in the world. If you're not into buzz, maybe choose a different location, since the hotel is directly above the busiest Street of the city and İstanbul never sleeps...

We arrived last night and we’ve had chosen a room with a view on Istiklaliyet.. Although the room is very beautiful (as the view from the window) it was extremely loud yesterday night and we couldn’t sleep at all. We informed the reception about this issue and asked for a room change. We knew that hotel was fully packed and didn’t expect them to be much of a help — since we’ve chosen that particular room ourselves. But they were so quick and helpful! They not only changed our room free of charge, they even proposed us an upgraded, more spacious one. Thanks to mr Cas amazing staff and receptionists, we will definitely come back the next time we are in Istanbul!

First day here ... everything looks fantastic and old school and a unique in a way I've never seen before in a hotel. soundproofing between rooms seems weak .. we still need to spend more time. Updates coming...

CAS sits right in the middle of the taksim street which means you can easily find what you want to buy. Rhere are also lots of taxis available right next to the hotel if you dont plan on using uber. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. The only downside is the hotel was built in 1900 and even though it was renovated before the age still shows here and there.
