Charming interior with breathtaking views of the Golden Horn, Haliç bridge and the Galata tower area. Menu was broader than most places, with a variety of Mexican, Italian and American foods. Service was pretty good, though I had a team that barely spoke any English; of course, that's on me and not them, and I managed all the same. The food I had was of average quality. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. I would probably go back another time for the views again; I had a rainy, overcast evening my first time there.

Cozy place, very friendly staff with a spectacular view. The air breeze makes the experience even better. Had breakfast and enjoyed every moment.

I saw reviews and I thought this would be an amazing place but it turned out to be a poor choice. Very hard to reach, narrow and steep street going up with multiple turns. Arrived to find a paid parking Then went inside and i was not happy about the general hygiene of the place. Then I ordered breakfast I told them bring 3 sets each for 2 and i added scrambled eggs and they bring portions that fed 3-4 people while we were 7. They brought 1 cheese plate at 1 side for all of us (2 tables) some of the tiny plates were only at 1 side of the table and i had to ask them to bring same to the other table. They don't speak English Breakfast was not similar to other good places.

If you like waiting 30 minutes for a simple burger and enjoy your burger old, dry, burnt and falling apart, then this is the right place for you. The view is good though.

Quality of the breakfast was WORSE ever for the price you pay since I had many Turkish breakfasts before!! Only good thing about the place is the view. So definitely NOT recommended if you looking for quality food and it's RIP OFF

Very nice view. Delicious and quality breakfast. Great service. Clean. But there is lots of huge wasps coming through windows. They need to work with a pest control company.

This restaurant has an exquisite view and incredibly friendly staff. The food was very good and they offered many different options. It’s also possible to enjoy a hookah. I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time visiting Istanbul and this is honestly the best place to eat and smoke hookah. I loved the place everything was amazing, I recommend strongest hookah and kofte (meatballs).

There is nothing wrong with the food and desserts, especially desserts are very good. And the view is exquisite. If you wanna enjoy the golden horn and bosphorus view i reccomend here. And if you call it ahead and save a seat it will be better

I highly recommend everyone to have your meal here. It’s not just excellent service, fresh and super delicious food, good WiFi, incredible atmosphere and hospitality of the owner, it’s also breathtaking view over the Bosphorus Strait and really authentic decoration. You will love it here 😍

The restaurant view is amazing. The food was good and tasty. Price relatively high for a Turkish breakfast. Stuff is friendly but problems with service and organization. Recommended for the view ;)

This is a small cafe located on the hill in a quiet non-touristic old street. It is very hard to find unless you use Google maps. It is mostly visited by Turkish as they even don't have English menu. It is very cosy and stylish inside. The view is amazing! Turkish coffee was the best we tried in Istanbul. Dishes were quite good, but meat was little bit overcooked. It is allowed to smoke inside, we were with a baby and it was uncomfortable for us.

Tourists avoid this place. Didn’t even acknowledge us and kept laughing. Disrespectful. View is good but not worth going to this unprofessional place.

Not sure who and why would rate this play so high. We went there because of the rating - huge mistake. It is located in a very sketchy area, surrounded by decrepit houses and a dumpster. Nobody was there at 11am, although the restaurant was open. The restaurant looks run down. The only good thing about it - the view. Needless to say we didn't even bother to stay.

The Haliç Bosphorus Café is truly a hidden gem of Istanbul, located on a beautiful street of charming wooden houses. The views are amazing and the food is spectacular. The staff is genuinely kind; they even helped me with my coin collection! Thank you for the hospitality you showed me.

We were there for breakfast today and were really lucky that no one else was there. Of course, we were able to sit directly at the panorama festival and had a really cool view!!! Don't let the exterior of the location and its hidden location fool you. As soon as you find the older house and go through the glass door, you realize how beautiful it is there. We had a traditional Turkish breakfast (Serpme Kahvalti). We were given a larger selection of sweet and savory spreads, an omelette, fries and sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, various types of cheese, bread, black and green olives, a pot of tea, etc... The children received very tasty fruit juices. The service was very courteous and very nice. We felt really comfortable there. Our children were also treated great. Pleasant music was playing in the background. And the best thing is, we only paid 920 lira in total. We will definitely go here again!!!

Me and my family of 5 (me wife and 3 young adults) were looking for a place that overlooks the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. I must say we got more than what we asked for, the interior of the place has a rustical look to it, which we learned from the waiter that it is actually a building under protection of historic heritage. The views are just breathtaking. We came for a quick coffee but stayed throughout the whole evening. The food was brilliantly cooked and the service was also exceptional. Me and my family would like to especially thank Mr. Umut for his kind, friendly and professional service. He took fantastic care with each and every request we had. We were told by Mr. Umut that they are especially famous for their breakfast. But since we already had breakfast at another place we had coffee tea and food. Visiting this place is a must, if you like to take in one of "The Best Views Of Istanbul".

We came here to drink a tea and eat something. The waitress was so rude, she needed 30mins to come to us just to stay 3 seconds to confirm we want to order the tea. We didnt even say we want to eat because she just left.... When we asked can we order to eat, she said easly NO, while she was bringing other people food and we asked again on turkish language and she said No again... While again bringing other people food. 1st and only terrible place I visited in Turkey

Love this place! We visited this place twice on separate visits to Istanbul and enjoyed both times. Food: 8/10 Turkish breakfast has so many varieties (except for the french fries, they’re unnecessary and out of place). Location: 7/10 The location coming from Halic station is quite steep but it’s doable (my old parents went up just fine but slowly). However it is around 5 minutes away from Suleymaniye mosque and it’s easier if you’re coming from that way down. View: 10/10 overlooking the sea and the train bridge, breathtaking. Price: 7/10 I think it’s a bit overpriced for Istanbul breakfasts, but I’d say it’s worth it because it’s a generous amount of food and variety. We paid around 27$ for 4 people.

Cute cosy cafe. Stumbled upon it when wall up some hills. When u first try to get there it seems like you're walking into a house and strange but inside is very pretty with a good view of water. I think u have to reserve the tables with nice views. I went last minute with family and they were very friendly and accommodating. But the meal we got didn't seem like enough for 5 people. Only 3 sausages had to cut it and share. They could have given us more and added it to the price. We filled up on the free bread more than the main food. But overall nice cafe

Great little hotel, superbly situated with lovely hosts that are happy to help with everything, even umbrellas on a rainy day. Old but very clean and great food and in a great location to be able to walk to all the major attractions. Only down side is the long steep hill you need to climb to get to the hotel. But even so, definitely stay here again.
