Hands down the best restaurant in all of Turkey. I am glad I waited to leave a review (not on purpose) but to realize how incredible their food really was. It was our first restaurant in Turkey to eat at and we did try other great restaurants in Istanbul, Cappadocia and Izmir but nothing like this restaurant. Staff was also so friendly! This will be our go to restaurant next time we are in Istanbul. Thanks for the awesome experience and food!

The best place I have tried in Istanbul. The location is super nice and the staff couldn't be kinder. The flavours and the food are amazing, we came two times and tried a lot of stuff and there was nothing we didn't love. Prices are very reasonable, you can try plenty of things for about 20 euros per person. At the end of the meal tea and a small dessert is served. Really recommended to eat turkish food with a twist

This restaurant served the best Mezze platter I have ever had. Each cold Mezze had bold flavours and was just brilliant. The spiced pita bread was also out of this world. They also served me some free pumpkin dessert and Turkish tea on the house which was a great touch. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Istanbul!

Exceptional cuisine and service. The kebabs were absolutely amazing, in fact every single thing we ordered was amazing! My favorites were the lamb shish and lamb chops. The vegan wrap was also great! On top of it all, the staff was accommodating and extremely nice! Thank you!

By far the greatest dining experience I have had during my stay in Istanbul and in all of Europe. The owner is a world renowned Chef and has blessed 22 different countries with his talents and has the most genuine and sweet vibe. The Mezze platter is a MUST, the lamb chops melted in my mouth like butter, and the beef kabobs were immaculately seasoned and tender. My biggest regret is that I no longer want to explore different restaurants in Istanbul as I know it will be a mistake to eat a meal anywhere else. We were treated with free dessert to top off the wonderful experience. I cannot wait to go back, this is the type of place that inspires me to exercise to create a larger appetite so I can experience the entire menu hahaha

Located on an unsuspecting side-street, Pera Antakya provided some of the best food that I had during my time in Istanbul. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, guiding us non-locals through their menu and recommending food and portions appropriate for our group size. To say I was blown away by the quality and taste of the food is an understatement. We came in expecting a decent bite to eat; we left with a fantastic experience and full bellies. A solid five 🌟s from me, and I'll be sure to return on my next visit.

Read about it and always wanted to go. Went yesterday without reservation and they accommodated us. Great food… the lambchop and kebab were tasty. The dessert was good and not too sweet. Worth going back but the price may be high by Turkish standard. Still the value is good.

Delicious food and very friendly staff who made our dining experience a great one. The mezze platter comprising eight different mezzes was perfect for four people. The grilled meats were very tasty. The accompanying flatbread was also delicious and different from the bread that is usually served elsewhere. We received an incorrect order (lamb shish instead of lamb chops) but this was quickly rectified by the kind staff. I had made a reservation by messaging Pera Antakya via WhatsApp. This was really easy and they were very quick to respond and accommodating when we were running late and had to push the booking back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

It is my first time having turkish cuisine and i love it! Every dish was accompanied by bread that goes along perfectly with the dish. Service was excellent too. They were all attentive and served the food accordingly to the pace that we were eating. 10/10!

This place is AMAZING. Easily the best food we’ve had so far in Instabul. The service is friendly and attentive. I couldn’t believe it when I ordered something called a ‘tile’ (in English) and the incredible beef stew with pastry topper (pictured) came out. I loved it. My partner loved it. You’ll love it. The other reviews aren’t wrong, it is a little more pricey than the surroundings, but it is absolutely worth it. I can’t recommend it enough.

We were certainly glad to find this authentic restaurant just a bit off the beaten path enough to be appreciated locally, I believe. Simple and well made, tasty, textures and flavors. A good atmosphere with average class and great service. We really enjoyed the food!

This is easily a 6 star restaurant. From service to food, we stayed 12 days in Istanbul and did not find anything better. We let our waiter Sinan pick for us and everything he brought out was finger licking good. The Manager and Chef Bulent was so great and made us feel super special. Thank you for making our Istanbul trip that much better. Lamb Chops best I’ve had in my life. Went twice.

I had a lovely dinner tonight at Pera Antakya. We didn’t know what to order so our server helped us on this part and we totally loved each and every dish we got! We tried their fried cheese, hummus plus eight other appetizers with their nice lovely bread, lamb, beef and a beef wrap. Each dish was flavorful and just taste amazing! The place was fully packed here and the staff was attentive. First night in Turkey and we enjoyed this dinner as a first meal.

Wonderful traditional food with tons of flavour. The restaurant is classy and quiet with high quality food, which is inexpensive. Had a wonderful dinner here. We went here for some traditional cuisine and had some of the best meat in the city! We started with the mezze, which is a neat selection of various small dishes, before progressing to traditional beef and lamb - both grilled on skewers. Meat was very juicy and tender, and definitely recommended. I particularly enjoyed the lamb, which was nothing short of amazing. The service was also very good and attentive throughout our visit. Would come here any time I’m in Istanbul - without hesitation!

I went there with a party of 4 other people. We were seen quickly. Other diners were pleasant. Food was flavoursome and you can tell it was fresh. It would have been great if dishes were brought out at the same time.Bathroom was very clean. I would reccomend.

I tried so many restaurants in Istanbul, also many expensive ones, and I have to admit, that this is just the best one. The meat quality is just amazing. Everything is always so fresh and the meat is also grilled perfectly. We’ve been here already three times. Definitely a place to visit.

Service is amazing. The chef himself came to the table and recommended us some appetizers and the main dish. The food came and we tasted the original taste of the organic meet. Mezze anybody? Or perhaps Durum/wraps? All located in this fine and tasty establishment run by some of the most friendliest staff that one can think of. I would highly recommend to ask for a chef’s tasting menu and let them decide for you - amazing experience where you will get some of the best Turkish tapas in town - oh and did I mention that they have local beer and wine! Excellent food!!! Best that we’ve had in Istanbul so far. We couldn’t decide what to order so we had Chef Youssef choose for us. Each meze was incredibly tasty. The meat so tender and flavorful. Service was fast and the course was well-paced. The chef even gave us delicious tea and dessert on the house. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Excellent restaurant! This was one of the best places I have eaten in Turkey (and trust me there were a lot) The place was amazing, clean, and very accommodating. The staff were mindful of my husband's egg allergy. They even gave us complimentary turkish tea and this heavenly dessert after our meal. I would love to go there again!
