Dem is famous for its desserts and different types od tea 🫖. I a can say it is one of the unique places where you can find many different types of tea to try. The atmosphere is also very nice inside. I have been here for many times before. Today, I wanted to try their breakfast. It was below expectations that is why it is not a 5 star. Recommended for tea but not for breakfast 👌

We had an amazing breakfast with my friend and the çay is Delicious ☕ seriously, if you're a real tea lover, the brewing is important. The cakes and dishes are very delicious too. I wouldn't say the prices are expensive.

To be honest i wanted to knock off 1 or 2 stars off because of the service - some of the waiters are kind of indifferent and sloppy, although no one of them was rude. But after those Blueberry pancakes i just couldn't take a star off. Also a day before i had a pavliva cheesecake which was very good. So for their desserts they deserve their 5 stars.

They are known for tea and cheesecake, but I actually keep coming back for their savory treats. Hummus+mushrooms is a favorite, and the savory muffin with the seasonal salad is a close second.

One of the best cafés I've ever visited. Lovely design, amazing cheesecake and tea that you want to buy to take home. Strongly recommended to take the cheesecake tasting plate and tea bundle with their Huckleberry tea 😍 don't forget a book to stay here for longer!

The most pro-European tea rooms I have seen in Istanbul, so far. Their teas are not as strong as the British customers would wish them to be (I am among these customers!), but fragrant and high-quality all the same. The assortment includes 2-3 teas in each category - black, green, white, matcha, and some more exotic mixtures. The food menu can be called exquisite: delicate desserts, filling main dishes, veggie options included. My breakfast plate with poached eggs and avocado toast was just enormous! The staff speak good English, and are helpful but not insistent. Also, this place is in the more tranquil part of Moda district, which, together with the laid-back but slightly humourous interior design style, makes it even more pleasant. On the negative side, Dem Chai Evi is pricey even by Moda standards.

They have a nice menu so I ordered from their “snack” menu and this is what I got. I’d count this as a “meal” rather than a “snack” so I give it a 4.5/5 for this since it was tasty. I wish they toasted their simit though and then I’d give it a 5/5. Nice music and the vibe was chill. Friendly staff. They seem to have a selection of teas that I didn’t try but would add to my list during my next visit.

This is a cute cafe specializing in white, green and black teas, as well as offering good brunch dishes and desserts. Although not coming here for the first time, we wanted to try some more of those brunch dishes, of which we’ve ordered Spanish Omelette and Avocado Tartine. Spanish Omelette was quite small to fill a normal person, whereas Tartine was quite adequate. However, we were disappointed by the waiting time, which apparently is caused by the lack of staff. Also, we think that the staff could be a little more helpful.

I don’t like tea at all, but in this place I’ve tried a type that was great! Forgot its name but it was very delicious and new, I don’t like tea wether it’s sugary or not, but the flavor here was good🤩 Totally worth coming back! Also, if you did not know how to pick a tea flavor, the waiter can help you by letting you smell the plant itself… really good idea ☺️

Sorry but I didn't like it that much. The chesscakes were really basic. Very nice staff.

Lovely little cafe with resident cats. Quirky decor, delicious food and coffee. I ate here a few times, early in the morning and late afternoon. Both times it’s not so busy. But at peak hours it can be difficult to get a table. Come early if you want a relaxing time to eat.

Dem is on the way to Moda, close to the old McDonald's round in Kadikoy. 5 minutes from "boga statue " by walk. They are opening at 10 o'clock on Sunday. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The waiters were polite and helpful. They are serving fresh filter coffee and stereotype tea from different territories. Hygenic and clean place. The price was reasonable. I can suggest it to everyone.

good quality of food but we have waited for the iced tea for 30 minutes and main courses for 50. A lot of drinks are absent from menu. price to quality ratio is nice, maybe we will come back for desserts

Let me tell you, they make the best cheesecake ever. It's a bit pricy but totally worth it. I love their menu and decor. Unfortunately ordering part was hard for us, we struggled tryna get employees attention.

Had a delicious brunch and amazing cheesecakes here! The teas are also very good! I came here a couple of times and everything I’ve had delicious. Honestly the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had, nothing (in North America) can compare

Nice drinks, friendly stuff, good location, nice garden, prices are similar with the similar places around that area. Over all a nice place.

A really study friendly place. They have a wide range of options for tea and sweets. All the sweets are so delicious and very heavy. I don’t think you will be able to finish any plate on your own ahahahah. The only problem is that the tea was a bit overpriced for what it actually is. Still would 100% recommend it though.

👍👍 The best Adana Kebab we had in Istanbul! The concept of the restaurant is amazing with getting free sides like salads to eat your kebab with, but they also offer sauces and more special sides for only a little bit more. The staff was also very nice. In addition to that they have very good deserts as...

😠 The concert place is not good in sense of atmosphere and sound system. Bouncers at the door seem like doing a favor to us letting us in even though we already have concert tickets and they are not polite. Waiters are not polite. It was my first and last time in Dorock XL, it is sad to see this place...
