Horrendous experience with Dr Arslan. I highly do not recommend!! Im writing this review 9 months post op and I am very disappointed with my results, I will be looking for a new doctor to correct my now botched hairline thanks to Dr Arslan. I initially chose hairmedico after months of research to find the best clinic for me, I was also willing to pay more to ensure the best results as I was nervous to go through this process. After reading reviews for hairmedico and Dr Aslan I felt like he was the best choice as they were mostly all positive reviews. His assistant / translator was also very helpful and reassuring throughout the process. However on the day of the surgery, she was not present, and I underwent what could only be described as the surgery from hell. Throughout the entire surgery I was in extreme pain, the doctor forgot to inform me that if you have acne scars the local anistetic to numb the pain might not work, it did not work! And I felt everything. Dr Arslans assistants were extremely unprofessional and seemed completely unqualified for the job. I could hear them exclaiming sighs as they worked on the hairline, and it was clear that one assistant was teaching the other as they went along. Both looked very young, in their early twenties. As the surgery was taking place, not one person in the room spoke English and while I was in extreme agony they merely ignored my cries and just continued having conversions amongst themselves in Turkish. They also argued with each other while in conversation, and a few times throughout the surgery they would leave for small breaks. Even the doctor left the surgery room a few times while his rude and inexperienced assistants continued to work on my hairline. Leaving the surgery that night I was completely traumatized and I couldn’t believe that one of Dr Arslans assistants had the audacity to share a taxi with me, to which I had to pay the full fee. The transfer back to my hotel post op was not paid for, so I had to deal with an angry Turkish taxi driver while I went to leave my taxi. It is now 9 months since I had the surgery and although Dr Arslan assured me that the surgery was 100% a success, I am extremely disappointed with the results. Less then 50% of the hair has grown and my hairline looks an absolute mess. I only needed a small amount of hair transplanted, 1800 in total at the front of my hairline was the number of hairs Dr Aslan said he planted. However I don’t believe even 800 hairs have grown through, the distance between each hair also makes my hairline look completely unnatural and a mess. After sharing this feedback with Dr Arslan and his assistant Asma, they told me that they could correct this for a fee of €1150, to which they reduced to €800 after I exclaimed how ridiculous this was as I reminded them that originally they had guaranteed a 95% success and growth rate. There was zero after care or support after the surgery and Dr Arslan clearly does not care about his patients.

It’s been a year since my hair transplant procedure with Dr. Arslan. The experience during the surgery was neutral; the doctor and the clinic staff were competent, though nothing stood out as exceptional. Now, a year after the surgery, I’m in a position to reflect on the results. The density of the transplanted hair has not met my expectations. It's sparser than I anticipated, and the growth pattern is somewhat uneven. There is also a noticeable difference in the texture when compared to the rest of my hair.I had hoped for a more significant improvement and can't help feeling that the results are underwhelming at this point. I am reaching out to the clinic for a follow-up discussion to understand if this is within the normal range of results or if further actions might be needed.I will provide an update after my consultation, as I believe in comprehensive care and the opportunity for the clinic to address my concerns.

I would highly recommend Hairmedico for hair transplantation. Dr Arslan Musbeh is a very experienced, highly skilled surgeon who is passionate about his job. Communication with the treatment coordinator (translator) Asma has been great. She has been very prompt and efficient at providing information about the procedure, the aftercare and any other concerns one may have. The whole team including the assistants are friendly and caring despite the obvious language barrier. The modern private state of the art clinic has a splendid hygienic protocol removing any concerns one may have about being in a foreign country. Choosing a clinic amongst the hundreds that exist in Istanbul can be very perplexing, but one the of the main advantages that drew me to this centre was that Dr Arslan dedicates his time and attention to usually 1 patient per day providing a fantastic personalised service, rather than being made to feel like on a conveyor belt in some of the busier clinics. He is involved in the consultation and is honest from the outset and does not provide unrealistic expectations. Many clinics will overpromise the number of grafts to entice you in but possibly at the detriment of overharvesting the donor site. He does the extraction and FUE incisions himself and oversees his well trained assistants for the reminder of the surgery. Some minor pain is to be expected at the start but the rest of the procedure and post-op healing is generally favourable. Any follow up concerns are always dealt with. Following my 2nd tranplant after a 2 year interval I am satisfied with the outcome and would definitely recommend Hairmedico for great quality and natural-looking results😉

Bad result + experience with HAIRMEDICO dr. Arslan Musbeh - FUE First i would like to say that i have no bad intension with posting this article. I would just like to show my experience & result of my hair transplant. I hope i can help those who are still deciding whether to go through this procedure, which clinic/doctor to choose,… Little bit about myself: 30y old, male, coming from EU. Dealing with hairloss for about 3 years now – on BIG 3. Healthy lifestyle.Right now i am 10 months after FUE – result haven't changed since i was at 7 months's mark so i think this is final result. As NW3 i wanted to restore temples and hairline. About HAIRMEDICO - Istanbul: Reasons I decided to choose this ''clinic'': - Doctor's 14 years experience (highly doubt this info which i found on their web page is realistic), - They promise that doctor does all/most of the work (there were 2 technicians that did most of the work; one of them was a total beginner. Didn't even know how to wash my hair after procedure.), - HAIR TRANSPLANT CENTER ( well at least they advertise it like that. In reality they just rent a room in some center where all other plastic surgeries are done), - They estimated transplantation of around 2000-2500 grafts for reasonable price (they actually only transplanted around 800-1000 grafts), - Higher class accommodation (when i already booked a flight they send me a message that this hotel is already ful. Then i got a cheap room in an old hotel). I have to say i am very disappointed with that result and specialy with the service of this ''clinic''. Maybe a month ago i contacted them and sent photos but the contact person just said that she will inform doctor about it. I didn't get any reply from her. I think it's pretty sad how some people treat their customers. It took me a lot of time to arrange everything, i had to take 3 weeks off, spend a lot of money and time and now i can't get rid of this feeling of being totaly scamed/ripped off. Sadly i will have to give more money and ever worse – time to repair the damage this clinic has done to me. Personally i would not recommend this clinic/dr. to anyone. But once again i would like to emphasise that this is just my experience. And maybe my fault of choosing the ''wrong'' clinic.

I highly recommend Dr. Arslan, and Hairmedico. It is important for this type of operation to be well informed before. Be sure that it is a doctor who transplants the hair. Doctor Arslan is internationally recognized, he trains doctors in French hospitals on the subject of hair transplantation. I first met him in a French Hospital. For me everything was exceptional, from the reception at the Istanbul airport, the hotel and especially the operation. The follow-up after the return to France is also very serious with a lot of advice. The results are really excellent. Thanks also to Anais for her kindness and for organizing the stay.....

I had a hair transplant 2 weeks ago at HairMedico clinic by Dr Arslan. I have been checking on internet for quite some times on all clinics in Turkey but eventually I went to his clinic by recommendation and I flew over from Singapore. The experience was seemless in term of logistic everything was arranged perfectly thanks to Anaïs. As for the surgery itself Dr Arslan and his assistant were really professional and worked very miticulously. I am really happy with the result so far. I definitely recommend HairMedico.

Dr Arslan and his staff are spectacular. From the start, his English-speaking assistant, Asma, was very responsive, attentive, and professional. She went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns I had during my clinic selection process. We had numerous conversations via telephone, WhatsApp, and even a video conference with Dr Arslan as per her suggestion. Asma was super helpful and always made herself readily available despite the time zone differences. During the consultation and surgery, Dr Arslan's passion for his trade and care for his patients became very apparent. He was involved in every step of the procedure from line drawing to extraction to incision to implantation. While his staff, namely Serg and Anais, remained by my side to translate and reassure any uncertainty. The level of service was exceptional. I'm very excited to see my results and hope to report back in 9 to 12 months with another raving review.

I had a hair transplant on Wed 18 Nov with Dr ARSLAN at his private clinic in Istanbul and I could not recommend enough his talents and services. From the first contact until now (5 days post op), everything has been incredibly professional. The communication with Anais for the enquiry and quote part was seamless and every question was answered very promptly. I received a proper quote with an assessment of my condition. I did it for many hospitals in Istanbul but only Hairmedico handled it this way and they told me from the very beginning that I could not expect more than I could get. I thought the honesty was a key factor here as many clinics will overpromise in order to get patients in. Then the arrival was smooth as silk as I was picked up at the airport without waiting more than 2 minutes and driven to the hotel in a nice part of town. The following day I was picked up by Anais and taken to a lab to do a Covid test to be able to fly back to France. Anais organised everything and was incredibly professional through the whole process. I then arrived to the state-of-the-art private clinic and met Dr ARSLAN. We had a 30 minute appointment and after asking me few questions started to draw the hairline with his team. Dr ARSLAN is a very experienced doctor (15 years) and did the extraction as well as the incisions. I had a quick lunch which was organised for me and the whole surgery went for around 6.5 hours which is a long time and felt quite long especially towards the end but it all went well overall. Dr ARSLAN did most of it and then was helped by his assistants but was checking in every 10 minutes to make sure everything was going smoothly. I then had a debrief with Dr ARSLAN for 15 minutes and was given antibiotics for the next 10 days. Overall the process was painless with just a few moments of minor pain but the first night was a bit painful and I had to take paracetamol a second time and it was fine after. I went back the following day for a control and a first head wash and I am now at 5 days post op and so far so good. The follow up from Anais has been tremendous and the after care with Hairmedico is what you won't get in any other hospitals in Istanbul. It is worth mentioning that Dr ARSLAN only takes 1 or 2 (rarely) patients per day and that guarantees a fantastic level of service and dedication which you won't get anywhere else so for that very reason I highly recommend to Dr ARSLAN and the team at Hairmedico to get your hair transplant done.

I had the best experience with Doctor Aslan Musbeh. The communication before the surgery was very reassuring and informative. Asma was always available and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the process. On the day of the surgery I was extremely pleased to see that Doctor Aslan had a great eye for proportions to create the perfect natural hairline, pushing his skills to its limit for the fullest density possible, keeping it 100% natural and very tasteful. The subtlety and finesse of his work is what make the whole difference. The surgery went extremely well. I felt immediately very confortable with the team, everyone was very friendly and caring. I was so relaxed and felt no pain at all during my surgery, I even fell asleep. The post surgery was completely painless, no headaches or itching. I was given all the medicines and instructions needed to take care of my newly transplanted grafts. The day after the surgery I felt so good that I went to explore Istanbul with a private tour guide they introduced me to. I had such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend the service of HairMedico to anyone who seeks professionalism and outstanding results.

I'd like to share my experience with the clinic of Dr Arslan Musbeh, HairMedico. It's been a couple of days after my hair transplant, so I cannot obviously talk about follow-up or my results. I'll probably add up some parts to the review after a year time. Firstly, the communication with his assistant Asla, was smooth and fast. She answers all your questions and arranges the technical part of the trip. HairMedico is unique because from the very first moment all attention is on you and you feel very welcome. You're the only patient that day so you have doctor's time for your use all the time. The consultation with assisting translator was smooth and the procedure done as promised. I chose the VIP package which means that both extractions and incisions were done by the doctor. He supervises the other moments and, in my case, did the first washing himself. There was not pushing for buying extra 'necessary' product which I heard happens in other places. Although the transplant doesn't take place in hospital, HairMedico har it's own room following all hygiene protocol. Dr Aslan is friendly and easy to talk person, who genuinely cares for every patient. Even with language barrier, there was always somebody to help and translate. He doesn't promise and guarantee impossible things, in the same time does the best possible treatment for every patient, that what I believe awaiting results of my hair transplant. Basing on my current experience in how I was treated, I can definitely recommend Dr Arslan and his team.

I had a surgury on 12 Jan 2022 at Dr Arslan's Clinic and have very positive overall experience. First of all it was excellent communication and organisation: everything on time, very smooth meeting and transfers from/to airport/hotel, very good accomodation. Clinic itself is nice and clean, has all facilities. Doctor Arslan is very professional and experienced specialist. He accepts only 1 patient per day. Clinic followed all agreements have been made previously and there were no hidden costs, oversales, price per-graft etc. It is all inclusive fixed price as it is advertised.
