A vegan place in Istanbul?! I was so excited when I saw this!! It is difficult to be vegan/vegetarian in Türkiye compared to the US as most dishes contain meat. The food was absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend trying this spot. They had already sold out of a few things for the evening but we tried 5 different things from the menu and all were yummy! The potato pita was the best thing by far and I highly recommend it! The lentil soup was also very delicious and can easily be eaten as an appetizer.

I visit Vegan Masa every time I’m in Turkey. This place is the best vegan restaurant I have ever visited in my life. My favorite is their minced meat/cheese pide and yoghurt soup. Every non-vegan friend I have taken there tells me they can’t believe the food is vegan. They have mastered the art of veganizing Turkish food. to a point where it’s indistinguishable. The food needs a bit more seasoning (salt, pepper, spice) but they are available at the table. As for desserts, the rice pudding is delicious (wouldn’t recommend the kadayıf as it’s a bit too sugary). Their lahmacun and potato/cheese pide are also on point. The ‘içli köfte’ is the boiled version so not a personal favorite (hope they soon make it fried). The ‘cacık’ is perfect as a refresher. Prices are very fair, proving that vegan diets can be accessible. Kind and fast service. If you are a vegan (or non-vegan) visiting Turkey and want to try traditional flavors, give Vegan Masa a chance—you won’t regret it!

One of the best vegan restaurants I have dined at in Istanbul! Really good and tasty vegan lahmacun and pide. The ayran was ok (I think I’m not a fan of ayran in general) I had the lahmacun (normal size), mince meat pide, cashew ayran, and later on (second visit), I had the mince meat and cheese pide. Everything tasted so delicious. I have met countless of non-vegan Turkish people who even kept raving about this place for its vegan lahmacun, which is a good sign this is the place to go to have vegan lahmacun. Comes with three small "salad" side dishes. Good service. Menu is QR code. It can get busy, but I never waited too long to get a table during times it seemed busy though.

If I could give more stars I would! We went twice and loved it both times. First time we had the sharing platter for 2. Second time we chose a few items and had the mushrooms in clay pot which was sensational! The flavours were immense. Lovely place

This is an amazing pita. All in all an excellent meal. A very good meal. I think these photos show it all. My mouth is still watering when I think of it. Everyone should eat this at least once. You will agree with me. Thanks to everyone who made this.

Absolutely amazing !!! Possibly the best in Istanbul! it's just a delicious flat Turkish bread (Lahmacun&Pide). The perfectly crispy with fresh vegan buttermilk(Ayran). Served by always charming and cheerful lady Funda :)

Loved the lahmacun here! We got it as part of the mixed platter so we got to taste all versions of the pide. The space was well decorated and lit and made us feel really comfortable. The food was tasty and left us feeling satiated. Istanbul doesn't have a lot of vegan restaurants so having a place like Vegan Masa was a god-send.

As a local, i can say that tastes are really like origins and even better!!! Yoghurt corba is very very delicious with its mint sauce👌🏻 İcli kofte, lahmacun are crispy and they include enough soy meat to enjoy the taste!! The place is jist across the street of Yapi Kredi Bak at Besiktas. Also it has a local atmosphere of lahmacun/pide house which is ver Turkish.(stone oven and small tables) . I really liked and can suggest this place to all interested people✌🏽dont come with a car, no parking outside

Absolutely amazing vegan food! The desserts were absolutely breathtaking. You need to try the vegan kazandibi (rice pudding cake). It was so good that we had to reorder it. The owner was super charismatic and recommended us other places and told us the recipes. This place is run with passion for the vegan cause. Can recommend 10/10.

The lahmacun and pide were fine, nothing special. I did not like the vegan cheese. The balls filled with minced meat were my favorite. I also liked the supangle dessert, but the kazandibi was way too sweet for me.

What a nice ambience and what a great lahmacun😋 Vegan pide, vegan ayran and many other traditional Turkish food (cooked on fire). Way too different from all the other hipster vegan places. Big congrats on the idea👏🏻🌸🌸

Very delicious and homey food. The turkish tea we had here was the best one we had in Istanbul as they make it a little more mild and with saffron. Very friendly staff and don't forget to try the rice pudding dessert.

We took the tram (30 min) + 15 min walk all the way from SultanAhmet neighbourhood to try this 5 stars rated vegan place...and what a disappoint. We choose the mixed plate for 2 that gives you a bit of everything (175 lira). One of the meat ball tasted off while the other was OK. The dishes were not exceptional at all. Did not have any flavour/spice. The place was very hot because of the hot weather + the oven in the middle. No AC or even an old fashioned fan... Cannot understand the 5 ⭐️...

Loved the vegan takes on classic Turkish dishes!!! The vegan cheese on the pide was nothing exceptional but got the job done, however their cashew-based dairy things were amazinggg — the cacik and ayran were really impressive!

Lovely place. Very delicious and affordable vegan meals. Very charming staff with very good english skills. At the picture you can see the minced-meat pide and the ayran. I also ate lahmacun on another day. All of these were delicious!

One of my favorite places in Istanbul. The price/quality ratio is perfect. Fresh vegan lahmacun is great and also cheap. Both types of soup is also great. Kadayif with coconut dondurma is a chef’s kiss. The texture of the ice cream is very authentic! Also a very friendly place!

I’m so impressed by Vegan Masa! I had the vegan lahmacun and vegan yayla çorbası. Even though the soup normally has a yogurt base, I couldn’t even tell it was vegan. It was so, so good. I didn’t think I’d enjoy vegan lahmacun as a vegetarian of over twenty years who doesn’t like the taste of meat, but it was delicious! Also, the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be going back and trying more things!

So… We walked for 2 hours to come to this place and it was totally worth it. The space is well decorated with natural light. The staff is friendly and does a great description of the dishes. We went for cheese pida, lahcmun, stuffed kofta, yoghurt cucumber salad and the ayran drink. All was pretty tasty and the ayran drink was surprisingly good (since I never taste one and I’m not into salty stuff). A nice place if you want to try traditional turkish food veganized :)

It was a unique experience, trying oven baked Turkish specialties in vegan style. Ordered a piece from everything on the menu as a sample to taste, Lahmacun and the cheese pide was the real deal for me. Don’t forget to try the Ayran. Heard that recipes were carefully created by the owners, so what you get is only available there. Thank you Vegan Masa team for the deliciousness.

vegan food is unbelievably good. tastes are no different from real pide, lahmacun and rice pudding. as if none of them are vegan. very good menu. A unique place where you can taste the flavors of Turkish cuisine as a vegan.

Very nice small restaurant with all-vegan food. The service was very good. They have a menu card in turkish and in english. The prices are good. The food is absolutely delicious! My personal favorite was the pide with mushrooms and cheese.

Great place to try some Turkish dishes vegan style. We tried 3 different dishes and they were all good. We paid 175TL. Friendly staff and cozy seating.

The best vegan restaurant i’ve been to in Istanbul. The staff is organised and polite, the atmosphere is also nice. We ordered tree beverages, yoghurt soup, two “mushrooms in mud-pots” and minced meat-cheese pita we also got teo small salads. The total was just 16 euros! It so delicious and filling.

Perfect place - don't miss it! The ultimate experience of a Turkish Pide and Lahmacun !! and it's all 100% vegan. We took lahmacun, "meat" pide, mushrooms "cheese" pide, tzaziki, ayran (Turkish yogurt) and chocolate pudding for dessert, everything was perfectly delicious. The prices are good and the people who works there are smiley and friendly. İ highly recommend

Amazing vegan versions of Turkish classics. I defy anyone to try the "yayla çorbası" and say that it doesn't taste as yogurty as the usual dairy version! The prices are very reasonable, too.

I am a regular to this place, when i had the minced meat and cheese pide for the first time (my all time favourite btw😍) I was almost going to ask if it was truly vegan! Lmao! Yet i found out soon enough owners are also vegan - and for 7 years OMG-. My second home in Beşiktaş!!! 🙏 Türkiye ekonomisinde bu ucuz fiyatlar için çok teşekkürler. Helal olsun.
