My English tour was rescheduled because I ended up getting heat exhaustion on 6/10/22. The tour guide was so helpful and carrying and helped us get to our Uber. He helped a new tour get rescheduled to 6/13/22 and our tour guide Sabeh (I believe that’s how you spell his name) was great! He had so much knowledge and was very friendly. Sabeh made sure we saw it all and learned everything he could offer. Thank you for having such a great staff!

I took the morning tour of Topkapi Palace and was very glad I chose a guided tour. My guide was extremely well informed and the knowledge made my experience very enjoyable. My guide was personable, patient, and gave me wonderful information, while allowing me space and time to appreciate the areas we were in without him.

We met up with Guzin for our private street food tour; she was on time, spoke excellent English, and shared the same level of excitement we had to try new foods. She was knowledgeable of the area and the origin of the different things we tried, and was willing to answer our questions. She was also able to tweak the experience as needed so we sampled everything we wanted to and made sure we were stuffed like grape leaves by the end of our guided tour. My foodie self has never been happier! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to explore Turkey's cuisine.

Our guide truly knew how to captivate her group’s attention. The tour of the palace and the palace grounds became more interesting because of her sharing on the life and times of the Sultans centuries ago. It was a very interesting afternoon tour. Certainly worth our while.

We, my husband and I, had a tour about Fener and Balat with Çetin which really was precious and unforgettable! Full disclosure we are Greek American and wanted to visit the sites but in such a huge city didn’t think we could do it on our own. We were correct; you cannot do this tour on your own, but I have to say that it could not have been as great of an experience w/o Çetin. We were the only ones that day so we felt it was our own private tour into the history architecture religion and culture of the many invaders of an amazing city. We were able to witness what is meaningful for us and put it in context plus learn a ton about modern Istanbul as well. We were so grateful for Çetin s knowledge patience and grace that we jumped to do a more traditional tour with him the next day. Thank you! PS. Too many photos to share!

She answered every question I had and pointed out lots of small things I would have otherwise missed. It was a great combination of historical and contemporary life in the city. My friend and me had a amazing tour today with Guzin, the Eastern Roman tour customized to see the lesser know sights of former Constantinople and Fener and Balat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions and more. It was a full and interesting day with the challenges that a big metropolis like Istanbul brings (chaos in traffic because of accidents, closed attractions which needs improvising). The day went over sooner than we all realised and our guide finished the tour with us a bit later than agreed, which we tiped. Tip: invest in a good tour, it costs but it's worth it.

My husband and I had three tours with Walks In Istanbul and two of them were with Jem for Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Our tour of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia was amazing! Our tour guide, Çiğdem, was very educated on our sites and we enjoyed learning about the mosques and history behind them. It was an excellent experience and would totally take another tour with her again.
