A restaurant inspired by the Syrian design.. I visited it for breakfast.. Manakish is very special.. The chickpea fatteh was delicious.. The foul dish was normal.. I tried the Mamounia sweets and it was delicious.. Turkish coffee did not suit me, it was light.. In general, I can repeat it and eat it special

This place was perfect I used to go there with family and friends for their delicious breakfast and wide variety of hot meals for lunch and dinner.. Also I don’t know what happened lately I guess the management changed or something.. Food quality dropped I even went there this morning to get breakfast and although on google it says they opens at 10:00 the guy politely apologized saying they start breakfast service around 10:30-11:00. I hope they get better than before .

The restaurant has good sitting capacity will tend to get crowded when busy though. The service was also good. Despite some not so favorable comments from diners months ago, we gave it a try and it was worth it, i can say. The lamb-chops were tender and seasoned well,so was the rice. The chicken breast stew with potato lemon and mushroom was an ok. Side dishes were also good. Prices were fair and the serving size was a little more than i could take. For a person i can say a good 200 TL budget would do. I recommend the humus👍

My boyfriend took some friends and I here for dinner. We ordered a bunch of food and it was all so delicious! I'm vegetarian and if you don't know, Arabic food has many vegetarian options! The service was incredible. The place is really clean and beautiful!

The service is very bad, and the food is also salty, and it seems that it has been outdated, and they heat it up،It is hot,Pastry vendors don't wear gloves and there is also noise. My review of the restaurant is very bad. It looks like a popular Friday restaurant

This restaurant used to be good. Now everything changed. The quality is bad and the prices are more expensive.

Overall, the food at Saruja is good, tasty, and portions are very reasonable. The real problem is in the service. Although the staff are freindly, the speed of service is terribly slow. Recently I went for lunch. I ordered soup and a daily main course. It took a while to get the soup, while the main course was served 2 minutes after that. I think both were heated in the microwave as they were extremely hot. When I started having the main course, which was stuffed grape leaves with meat cuts "Yabraq", it tasted nice. A called the waiter and asked to prepare another order of the main course for take away for a friend. I finished my meal and waited for almost half an hour before asking for the check and the take away meal. To my surprise, few minutes later the waiter returned apologising that they were out of Yabraq!!! It is worth mentioning that when I arrived at the restaurant, it was almost 20% busy and reached around 50% by the time I was leaving. Number of staff was very reasonable to the crowd, yet the efficiency was low. Is it a kitchen and food prep problem? I'm not sure. Finally, I think the price of the meal was a bit high.

This is one of our families favorite restaurants, they have a great variety of Syrian food selection, and a great seating with the outdoor indoor feeling. The servers are very nice and do a good job when they don’t have lots of customers. My only complaint is that their silverware, cups, and plates are not as clean, and when they have high demand during lunch hour their service gets busy and they forget about you. Other wise I still love this restaurant and any time I’m we have guests traveling we always take them here and just ask the manager to take care of us and they do an amazing job!

I really enjoyed everything I ordered, I can finally say I found the best restaurant in Istanbul, they serve very delicious food more than expected and the prices are reasonable not like other Turkish restaurants

The restaurant is crazy expensive comparing with delicious Turkish restaurants and the food was medium quality. The grilled food was so dry, the service is too slow, no flexibility and some food served not hot.

I’d have rated it 5 stars if it weren’t for the prices. Otherwise, it has the best Syrian food in Istanbul.

Very quality middle eastern food as always! I think they should work on their order speed, with more waiters would be better We ordered beef pies, it came a little bit burnt so the manager told us himself that he would like to change it and did very quickly Service: 7/10 Food:9,5/10 Price/Performance: 8/10 ( a little bit expensive )

Food is okay the appetizers were very good. The prices are way too high compared to everyone else. You will be paying double and it's not worth it in my opinion.

👎😑 I had a disappointing experience today, to be honest. Regardless of the pricing, whether it was high or not, the service did not justify the cost at all. There was a lack of professionalism and the service fell far short of expectations. The reception was extremely unwelcoming. The waiter continuously interrupted us and seemed uninterested in taking our order. Moreover, the waiter was impolite and even demanded a tip despite providing poor service. In most Turkish restaurants, complimentary tea is served after lunch, but here they charged us for it. The quality of the food was subpar and didn't live up to the standards of authentic Syrian cuisine, especially considering the high prices. I had a guest from Libya with me, and the overall experience left us feeling disappointed 😒. The only positive aspect was the spacious and comfortable seating area, if it weren't for the unprofessional and rude waiter and the overall poor service. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. Note: In general, I tend to provide positive reviews, as around 90% of my evaluations are positive. However, in this case, I couldn't find any positive aspects to highlight.
