Scammers. I arrived before 23,59 but they charged me as after 00,00. I showed the time but they just wanted to make money from someone looking for a room. Bad service . Bad people

Very kind ppl all around. Lots of people there to meet with. Also when you compare its price to other places it is a really good overall. You can go there, take a snack and a beer then sit at launge then chat with travelers like you. Only thing I can think bad of here is that some ppl can find here a bit unhygienic but I disagree. I strongly recommend this place.

Best hostel i have ever visited. they have created an utter paradise, we extended our stay 3 times! it is in a great location, near to the bazaar, the kulturpark and transport links, and walking distance to the harbour and Alsancak. the breakfast is really delicious but the best thing about it is the community, it really made everyone feel at home and relaxed.

Lotus garden was one of best hostel I've been in Türkiye. Room was clean, kitchen was well managed and organized. Bathroom was also clean and well managed. Talking with friends from various country is always fun thing to do. Enjoy your time in garden.

This hostel is amazing. The atmosphere is very friendly and the place is very nice. It's a good place to stay because it's a family atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and generous. I stayed four days in this hostel in June. I can only recommend it, if you are looking for hostel with cozy and socialble atmosphere. You can feel the passion that the owners put in this house. The garden and outside area is super lovely in summer time. The kitchen is suitable. The hostel offers nice breakfast if you want.

I went to this hostel for 2 nights and ended up staying over a week! And I guess this is normal for many of their guests. I loved everything about Lotus Garden Hostel. It's obvious that the owners have put so much work and love into it. Everything has been thought of and it's a comfortable place to stay in a great location filled with wonderful energy. The staff and volunteers were very helpful and friendly, the organic breakfast was super good value, the common room was cozy and filled with friendly, interesting travelers and a wood fire on the chilly evenings. They also seem to genuinely care about the environment and take many measures to be an eco-friendly hostel. Highly recommended!

It's so nice sitting in the common area listening to the relaxing music they play and watch their beautiful garden while making new friends! The hostel has a very unique atmosphere, its very sociable and the stuff are very helpful

Right in the heart of old town bazaar eastern end and extremely conveniently located at Izmir Basmane station with plenty of train connections north and south. Just a few minutes walk to the Ancient ruins of Smyrna. The house is spacious with lovely hangout area and garden. Real historic with wooden panels creating a feeling of living in a beautiful historical past. The hostel workers were generally very helpful. Private rooms were large and secluded on the 2nd floor and shared showers had hot water aplenty, what more can one ask for in Izmir!

Bed is hard and doesnt smell that good.. Too much light gets in the room even with curtains.

I like the hostel concept with its sustainable garden, waste separation, and free kitchen usage. Close to the kulturalpark and you can buy fresh Turkish traditional food, fruits, and veggies every Wednesday. Walking distance to the train and metro station.

I would have stayed there forever. I love this hostel. The garden is amazing, nice kitchen, you can wash your chlotes, the beds are comfortable and the people are kind. I also liked the place where the hostel is: a lively, authentic, multiethnic part of Izmir very close to the bazar.

As described lots of facilities. But not clean, there are no curtains in the rooms to the streets. The curtains on the beds are too small, no lockers or space to put your stuff, very few showers and toilets there can be a waiting time.

An old building with friendly staff and a fantastic garden area to sit and relax. The first hostel I have been to with chickens in the garden, gives a good feeling of not being in a city. The breakfast looked good even though I did not eat at 9am

It's one of the most social and easy-to-make-friends hostel. The rooms are okay as the bathroom and kitchen. The staff is really nice and very important the location is great (is reeeeally nice to Basmane station, which is a useful station to reach, for example, Ephesus). They also have some bikes to rent and some suggestions about what to do in your stay in Izmir.

Felt like a home, during this lockdown got stuck in Izmer for few months. I left hostel but after an accent came back spent 3 months. Lots there called ourselves a disfunkcial family as many of us there for long term. Hostel location in quiter part of town with a lots of local apeal. Cheaper than the richer side of Izmer. Easy to get around tram station near by easy to get to airport or transfer to local bus station. Could be a bit cleaner as they clean regularly but with natural products so sometimes doesn't have what were use to for after cleaning smells aka chemical 😂. Nice common kitchen fire place winter time. Basically all one needs for short or longer staying..! Good staff plenty speek english. WiFi 😂 it's Turkey..! Sometimes it's on tea break 😂😂..! Would I recommend yeah - would I stay again obviously as I did already few times & for months 😂😂..! Reason for only 4* is the cleaning with natural products to me just doesn't give that 💯 clean feeling but places is clean. Ps I miss feeding the cats a local Turkish thing ..!

Really good value. We had a huge triple room. Lots of plugs for charging electrics. Location is good, close to Smyrna ancient city agora. Staff are really friendly. Laundry available for 25 TL.

Incredible atmosphere, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, beautiful people and smiling faces all around, feels all too good to be true. Was an incredible 3days i spent with my girlfriend, met people that have brightened up our hearts. Helpful staff and sort of just the best you can get in terms of a hostel category.

Its nice place to stay with nice garden and beautiful plants. The schedules to check in are crazy but its doable. They could improve a bit with the cleaning part. The rest all is good. You can get breakfast for an extra fee.

If you like simple life and fun then it could be your choice, be careful there is sharing bathroom.

I fully recommend staying in Lotus Garden when visiting Izmir. The staff is incredibly friendly, it took not even 5 minutes after my arrival for me to feel like home. The garden and common area is amazing, the breakfast is delicious and you can get to all interesting places by walking. Thank you for the great time in Lotus Garden Hostel, I will most certainly come back :)

Really lovely place with really lovely staff. Location is great - really close to everything you need with the seafront being a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was lovely! Beds were comfy. Showers were clean. Would recommend :)

In my review I would say i was there when I saw good reviews. But I got bed bugs bite and it was not so good sleep over there though I stayed for 2 nights and it was all ok nice owner and everything. Good location. I would say if you want good bed and decent bathrooms look for other hostels.

It was my first hostel experience ever and I found everything I was expecting to find.Beautiful,peaceful building and friendly people.Only thing I have to say is about the area the hostel is located.The area is mostly full of refugees and I was a bit nervous at the first time walking to the hostel.Advantage of it is; there are delicious food,fruits and etc outside the hostel for a really cheap price(cheaper than any hood I have been to).Disadvantage is I didn't feel comfortable going out at night..In conclusion if you are in Izmir you SHALL stay at this hostel.

Great hostel in the Centre of izmir. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We went camping and they helped us prepare our daytrip and were flexible with the check out time. I highly recommend this place!!
