I
had
heard
about
the
authentic
croissants
and
pastries
served
at
this
boulangerie
so
my
wife
and
I
gave
it
a
try
in
our
search
for
the
best
croissant
in
Izmir.
The
almond
croissant
was
indeed
delicious
with
plenty
of
almond
slivers
on
top
of
it,
the
only
issue
I
had
was
the
lack
of
almond
or
marzipan
filling
in
the
center
of
it.
I
had
a
glass
of
lemonade
to
accompany
the
croissant
but
was
not
pleased
with
it
as
it
tasted
rather
store
bought.
There
are
some
issues
with
service
staff,
one
was
having
a
cigarette
occupying
one
of
the
tables
outside
while
the
tables
needed
cleaning.
Another
seemed
to
be
just
hanging
with
his
friend
from
school
acting
very
nonchalant.
Overall
the
service
did
not
leave
a
good
impression
on
me,
while
the
croissant
was
good,
there
was
still
room
for
improvement.
The
lemonade
is
definitely
over
priced
and
needs
to
be
re
evaluated
by
the
management.
On
the
date
of
this
review
the
croissant
cost
around
13TL
(about
€2
-
€2.5)
and
the
lemonade
was
around
16TL
(about
€3)
which
are
over
priced
but
normal
for
the
neighborhood.
On
the
day
of
this
review
my
wife
and
I
were
in
search
of
the
best
and
most
authentic
croissant
in
Izmir.
We
also
tried
Ahmet
Uğurlu
atolye
in
Bornova
which
you
can
read
in
my
other
reviews.
