Lovely place for contemplating the water, sunsets and perhaps you'll come across a random concert or someone playing great music on weekends. Minus one star for not having enough trashcans(perhaps one spot every ~500m if you're lucky you'll spot one).

One of the most iconic places of izmir where people can come and relax o. The grass especially at night. Public transportation are close (boat bus). The neighborhood is full of coffee places and restaurants. A nice place to hang out with friends in open air.

Was a great airshow, so sad for not being able to stay till the Tarkan concert… The sales trucks being in the way of some good photos was a bit upsetting though..

KORDON is Izmir's picturesque & iconic stretch of seafront promenade along the coastline offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, particularly during the sunset. Alsancak pier/ferry terminal is located on Kordon promenade with frequent ferry services to/from Greece. Also, there's walking & cycling track, a small park and string of restaurants along the sea front.

Actually I don’t understand why there are so many good reviews — the place is slippery as hell and, what is even more important, there is totally NO shade, not even a single tree. Very unpleasant place for walking at summer days.

Very peaceful and relaxing place. But I couldn't get ferry drive because of strict strange covid restrictions

Konak Alsancak in Izmir stands out with its must-see historical and touristic places. It is possible to come across many works of art and street figures. There are also many cats and dogs that are free on the street here.

This place has been the most comforting, peaceful place in Izmir to socialize with one or two friends or a whole group or even just by yourself. Just get an Izmir bomba from the bakery nearby and sit here by the sea watch the fishermen fish and enjoy the grass as you lie down and get a moment of relaxation from a busy day or a bad day. Absolutely safe space. Terrific for picnics.

If you are here then just walk the streets by the ocean... ... beautifull.. The main street near the port is a place to shop and dine with the multiple restaurants of many. Do visit the Chicken Hut restaurant where they serve authentic Turkish dishes with great ambience.

Alsancak mostly travelled and see the sunset place ever. But after the evening there is too many Syrian people and gypsies are getting disturbing you, stealing your stuffs or your smart phones. Really care about it. Don't sit on the any place inside, just go and getting relaxing on the grasses, feel the grass on your barefoot.

A famous place in Izmir where people smoke hookah on the grass, walk eating corn and playing guitars in the evening.

You can capture excellent poses, especially when sunset. The environment can go to hang out with beautiful friends. My suggestion is to go with your camp chair. There are pubs and cafes that are very active. Everyone's fun. There are not many parking problems on the beach, there are paid parking places on the edge of the beach 15TL. I advise

Izmir and overseeing the sea is amazing in this place. You're simply walking beside the sea and seeing mountains on the other side. Wonderful 💚
