THIS PLACE WAS WONDERFUL! First, our server was Kristin. She was so nice and well educated on the menu! I hope to see her again. The sushi was just phenomenal; the fish cut like butter. Everything was fantastic! The ambience, the presentation, and shoutout to the bar for creating a light and refreshing cocktail. I cant wait to come back and try more things on the menu! The bathrooms were very well kept and we did make reservations easily online.

O-Ku is definitely an upscale date night kind of place! It is pricey but I must say, everything is quite impressive. Not a single complaint out of me from the drinks, food, atmosphere, service and presentation. There aren't a ton of rooftop restaurants in the area, especially one that has distant sounds of the ocean in the background that gives off a great evening breeze. You can also do all the people watching you could want to do from all the bar crawlers below which proves to be quite entertaining on the weekend.

My husband and I went here for my birthday and had an absolutely amazing experience. Our server, Kayla, did a phenomenal job and made the whole thing so much more memorable. She walked us through the menu items and was kind enough to send us a small plate for my birthday. The food was delicious and flavorful and we would absolutely love to come back. O-Ku continues to be my all time favorite restaurant at the beaches!!! The quality of food and service is more reminiscent of restaurant experiences in San Francisco or NYC... 5 stars on all accounts! Must haves are: O-toro spoons, Usuzukuri, Agedashi Tofu, Sake Dreams, Yellowtail Carpaccio, Oceanside, Fuego, & Rock Shrimp, The cocktails are intriguing and delicious and the variety of Sake delivers desirable tastes for any palate. I can't compliment enough on the professionalism and diversity of the staff. It's soooo nice to see a Beaches high end restaurant with people of all walks of life and skin tones. I love love love it!!! One of these days, I hope to indulge in the Omakase tasting menu + sake pairing. I can imagine it's a tasty, mouthwatering wonderland.

I was pleasantly impressed with my experience. I went with a friend for a late lunch. I tried or variety of items that’s was so good and fresh. Our Server was well versed with each thing we ordered. He was overall really friendly and personable, actually all the staff was nice. I felt very comfortable. I would recommend the lobster temaki, tuna tataki, pork belly, blazing saddles, and firecracker. I also had 2 of the Pink 192( I think that was the number) cocktail, 10 out of 10. Absolutely loved it! Their sushi was unique and very good. The upstairs open air deck was beautiful. Their staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Exquisite Dining Experience at Jax Beach's Finest O-Ku From the moment I stepped into this sushi restaurant and rooftop bar at Jacksonville Beach, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was vibrant yet sophisticated, offering stunning views of the beach that became even more magical as the sun set. The culinary journey began with the A-5 Wagyu Tobanyaki. It was an experience in itself – with the hot cast iron dish I was able to cook the Wagyu to sheer perfection, melting in my mouth with each bite. The rich flavors and tender texture of the meat were enhanced by the subtle, smoky notes from the Tobanyaki style of cooking. It was, without a doubt, some of the finest Wagyu I've ever had. The Toro Temaki was next, and it did not disappoint. The freshness of the tuna was unparalleled, and the delicate balance of flavors between the fish, rice, and seaweed was a testament to the chef's expertise. It was a perfect representation of traditional sushi craft with a modern twist. What made the evening even more special was the impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. They made excellent recommendations and ensured our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. This restaurant isn't just about great food and views – it's an embodiment of culinary excellence and sophisticated dining.
