Fantastic place! Full of life & love and a great music system. Super place to hang with friends & meet new ones. Food was fresh & just right - some tenders & fries for a late night run. Stayed for a couple of great priced bottled beers, listen to the music, soak up the environment. You can tell the owner cares about her business & her guests. Not just a money grab - but a passion & dream. So glad I stumbled onto this awesome spot. Next time I'm in town for a show - I know where to go afterwards. Maybe just before, too. Honestly, enjoyed the time there so much.. forgot all about the tenders until the next morning.. still tender, not dry. Fries, though cold, still tasty with a nice not too salty seasoning. It still made for easy comfort food after a festive music & friends filled night.

Great atmosphere and cool theme. Reasonable drink prices and super friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back to hangout.

Very friendly, food delicious,. Drinks good and good price. Music is on point..I will be back.. Fast forward 5 days later.. Such a wonderful place and food is still delicious. Drinks are stronger and music always keeps us wanting to stay.

Nobody had help doing nothing! It took us over an hour to get food that was fried with old grease,my order of wings were wrong but I don't stay there and was ready to get on the road to get home. The drink I asked for was not what I got and it was watered down. The picture online is false advertising because the menu clearly wasn't for brunch food and we were looking for that.

We wondered in here at 12 AM on a Thursday after a concert! If you find yourself in the area stop by and grab some food. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We came in they immediately greeted us and started offering food and drinks. Our Uber was a bust so Memphis drove us across town to our hotel to make sure we could get to our hotel safely! They are amazing people with an amazing hidden gem!

My father in law and I decided to go eat here tonight and man I'm glad we did. Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. They make everyone of every walk of life feel welcome. Most definitely my go to spot for Historical Jacksonville from now on. PSA the Night Experience is awesome.

AC was broken, charged for a tailgate TV kept going out. And they acted like they didn't not care about customer service Hospitality was poor.

We were here in town visiting from KC and stopped in to watch the game. The experience was very enjoyable. Price point was good on drinks and food, staff was very attentive and personable. The food was delicious. We enjoyed fried fish, collard greens, Macaroni and cheese as well as fried wings and fries. The music selection was very enjoyable. Needless to say, we had an extremely enjoyable time and would definitely return. The owner truly makes you feel welcomed.

Just heard the owner’s call on WGCI (Chicago). Sounds like a lovely woman who really cares about her business and the people around her. I don’t live in FL but these are the types of places I like to support because of its owners. I wish you continued success and thank you for your service.

Extremely rude. As a black business women I would expect better customer service. To a mother and her child. Cursing and rudeness at its best.. I mean I guess that’s acceptable..located Out EAST! Smh.

Great place to party, just not a great place to have a party. Owner is notorious for double booking.

We respect everyone and try to do our best as a small business that is owned by a Disabled Black Female 20 Navy Veteran which it is a non-profit organization. We appreciate every customer because we are a non-profit organization and have a working feeding program homeless veterans, disabled children. We try to the best with what we have. Understanding we have the programs up in ruining even when business slow so we appreciate the business come out support and get to know our great family. 👍

I work downtown Sarasota and lots of customers come into our establishment and gloat how wonderful Evie's chicken wings are so I wanted to try the food. I was on my 30 minute lunch break. I ordered food to go. In my opinion for the price point my chicken wings were overcooked and unacceptable, the worst I ever had. Do not recommend the wings.
