Wandered in here after lunch. The restaurant I went to for lunch was out of beer so seemed like a good time to check this place out. During lunch there was no wait and plenty of seating, as you would expect during lunch time. They sell only beer, which to me is ok. If you want to have a meal, there are a lot of great options near by. It was nice to have a meal, and have a beer here. They have a really nice beer selection and the inside is clean and setup in a way I could hang out in for a while, chill with friends and have a few beers. They sell growlers and bottles as well. With a local brew shop closed for renovations, I was pleased to see they sell a mead, which seems difficult to come by in my area. The business is new and locally owned. I met the owner on my first visit and another member of their staff. They were nice and seemed to know what they are doing. I am looking forward to making my way through their beer selection, and from what I can tell, they introduce new beers often. My favorite so far was the aged burbon beer. A nice burbon flavor with sweet back flavors. I would love to come back with friends :)

Used to come here for the great craft beer selection and the friendly bartending staff. Now under new ownership I'm seeing Bud & Miller Lite and Mich Ultra on a craft beer menu? And it seems to have taken on an Eagles theme. I'm not going to hang out at a place with the worst fans of any NFL team. Don't believe me? Look it up.

If you like craft beers and don't want to drive all over town, this is a great spot for all variety of drinks they have on tap. And if you don't like what they have on tap they have different selection of drinks in their cooler as well. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable on drinks. You can also order food from the neighbors next door and eat there as well. Also they have some TV's to watch some of the games they might show especially for college and NFL.

This used to be a great place. Ownership recently changed, so my husband and I came by Friday night to support the new business. There are few craft beers and the pour on the wine is abysmal. The atmosphere was "good ol' boy." RIP Jax Craft Beer.

This place is a must!!! They always say change is a good thing, and the saying is spot on. I can't say enjoy about the new owner and the staff. Always making you feel at home. The variety of beers is great! They even have taps for the ones who just like the regular beers. Make this your usual pit stop. Don't have to travel far to get a cold craft beer. I encourage my locals in Mandarin to try it out, they will not disappoint!!!

Thanks to Jax Craft for letting us take over your place for my Surprise Birthday Party. Best party ever and Jax Craft bartender Garrett literally followed me around and filled my glass. Thanks Maggie and Joe and of course my husband for putting it together. Great venue!

I love this place. i’m the fanciest dude you know and I say this place has better beer than anyone within 500 miles deserves. if you have a passion for beer, or you’re just trying to avoid traffic on the Buckman bridge when you get off of work or if you have a birthday sometime all these are good reasons to spend a few hours here.

Great service, excellent assortment of beers, and you can order pizza that gets delivered to the place from 5 stars pizza/ This place has fun events pretty much every other day, worth following for the schedule!

I am a craft beer snob! I see lots of negative posts about the addition of everyday beers. I like craft beer as much as anyone. But not being able to hangout with friends who just like an everyday beer sucked. The majority of the 32 taps are still craft beer. Even if 5 of them are “not craft” that leaves 27 craft beers on tap. So because Jax Craft is now serving these types of beer it has become a place for everyone, not just the craft beer snobs like me! My wife and I enjoy the laughs and conversations and the ciders on tap!

I love this place and it's even a much more better experience with the new ownership. The staff is an absolute pleasure. The atmosphere is what a neighborhood bar should feel like. The beer is always cold and my wife loves the wine that is offered.l, these gents really know what they are doing. This is a true gem in the Mandarin area.

I found this gem through the 2023 Pub Pass in October 2023. I love the selection of 32 craft beers, which include 12 from Florida. And the selections change and rotate, which has been amazing! There is something for everyone. Not sure what to choose? No problem. They sell flights of beer or mimosas. Don't have time to stay, not a problem. You can purchase from their cold case or my preference is ordering a 32 oz. crowler of one of the tap beers and taking it home. They are working out the food issue and allow you to bring in food from the 6+ different restaurants in the plaza. But what I love about them the most is their sense of community and wanting to help people. They opened on Christmas 2023 and people brought a dish or snack to pass. It was amazing to see people who admitted to being alone, gather over fabulous food, and to meet new friends. That alone should convince you to try them out. You won't be disappointed. Gail and Aarron will take good care of you!

The owner, Aaron, is a blast! Not to mention, he works 8 days a week and 32 hours a day! He's busting his a$$ to make that place a staple in Jacksonville! Great place, prices, atmosphere, and lots of laughs!

RIP Jax Craft. Just go ahead and change the name. This place is not anywhere near what it was thanks to the new owner not knowing anything about craft beer. It’s a bar for his buddies now it seems.

Friday night, not crowded. Good place to chat with friends. Good service, friendly employee. Got food from next door and came to try some brew. Not sure if something was messed up but a couple of the beers tasted flat - could have just been the beer itself. However, the reason for the low rating is that none of the beers were cold - they were cool but not cold and they did not have any non-alcoholic options for designated drivers. #VickieTravelz

Very nice staff. My wife and I went because they were hosting improv. We don't drink, but we bought a couple of sodas; they made ordering food from a nearby establishment very easy. Appreciate the selection of board games they had!

My new favorite bar. Cold beer and good atmosphere. Couldn't ask for a better place in the area.
