First time here and it was my birthday! Our waitress was amazing! My daughter spilled her drink and she helped clean it up. Our food was delicious. We had a nice time outside during a beautiful evening. Everything was perfect for my birthday dinner. We didn't plan on going there but I was looking for fried pickles and they were yummy!!! 😊

Excellent place to eat. This was my first time. I had gator bites with a REMOULADE sauce to die for. I used so much I had to order extra. Next for my main course I had the whole flounder fried which came with hush puppies and fries. The fries were good, the hush puppies were amazing. So good I ordered extra and the fish was fried to perfection! It was so good I even ate leftovers which I never do. Friendly atmosphere. Everyone said hello and asked if I needed anything. Just a great Friendly place to go to eat. Finally the excellent service I received from Morgan R. I can be a little high maintenance and she certainly stepped up to the plate and got me everything I asked for when I asked for it. She was fantastic! Definitely will return to eat again and recommend to anyone wanting delicious fresh seafood in a great friendly atmosphere.

They have a delicious breakfast menu. I had blackened flounder and cheese grits. We ate outside with our dog. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Love this place!

Great local place to enjoy the views and good food. Bartender was excellent. The palm punch was refreshing. I had wings and Mrs had clam chowder. Both were exactly what the doctor ordered.

Loved the smoked fish dip. The scampi shrimp was more of a broth than a scampi (according to a fellow diner). I have the blackened shrimp po boy. It was okay. The service was very good and the atmosphere was lively and fun. A good experience, I will go back.

On our trip we were thinking of going other places to site see. I realized we hadn't had anything to eat. We decided to try here. I Can't say enough not only was every server helpful but they accomidated us with seating due to a medical problem. Very understanding. It felt almost magical how the scenery of the beautiful sky and ocean. Then they had live music 🎶 fun time!

Nice ambiance and very friendly greeting and service. The shrimp on my fettuccine were close to ‘out of the boat’ fresh. The portion was very small. Shrimp Po Boy was good as was the Cheese Grits. Outdoor deck faces west over the water.

The Fishermen Sandwich was delicious 😊 All our food and choices were large portions, served hot, and you can’t beat the outdoor seating. Kelly did a GREAT job for us first timers to the restaurant and the area. We’ll definitely be back! 👍

We stopped at Palm's Fish Camp after kayaking nearby on Memorial day weekend. We anticipated a wait but were pleased that we ordered and received our meals pretty quick. Shrimp and scallops kabobs were very filling. Loved all the veggies. Husband had blackened Mahi, that was delicious as well. We've been here several times, always satisfied.

Given the other great reviews only think I can think of they were probably having a bad day when we visited. Food were disgusting, sandwich came with the wilted and yellow lettuce (see picture) and smelly fish- not fresh at all. We also ordered a pizza, first served us a wrong pizza and after waited another 20 mins, gave us a pizza that tasted like cardboard. Pizza sauce wasn’t simmer enough so tasted water down and came right off the pizza dough. We asked for chicken on the pizza, it was put on top after the pizza was cooked. Small push cart has better pizza than this. Ohh after ordered food we waited almost an hour to had some fries served, then waited more for rest of the food. I wouldn’t have complained about the wait, had the food was good.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening, loved the atmosphere sitting on the outside deck! Service was great, quick, attentive and always visible for when we needed something! Got Oysters and Shrimp for an appetizer. A little pricey but tasty. The blackend Wahoo was delicious, subbed a side for a bowl of Gumbo, which was also great!! In all, a great spot for dinner if you're looking for seafood and drinks, a bit on the pricey side, but I will definitely be going back.

What a great little dockside restaurant/bar. Took the boat out this evening with my dog and had a lovely time sitting at the bar. The dock is excellent, the fried green tomatoes delicious, and they made me a fantastic Mediterranean vegan pizza!

The fried green tomatoes were amazing and corn nuggets were great but beware they are sweet. The virgin strawberry daiquiri was also amazing but very, very sweet so if you don't like very sweet, might not be for you. Loved the view and the service.

My boyfriend and I stop here on our way home from finishing or for a mid day date and it’s pretty consistent. (Just don’t go right before closing like we did once with the kids) otherwise everything is amazing. We love their fish dip + the fried oysters. That combo is heavenly and should be served together lol.

I cannot say enough good things about Palms Fish Camp. We ate there Tuesday night, a party of 10. One of the older gentlemen with us, missed his seat and fell. (He was okay) The staff members were very attentive and concerned and came back several times, during the course of the meal, and checked on him, which we really appreciated. Also, several of the guests helped with getting him up and back in his seat, which was greatly appreciated. The food and service was excellent. We live in Columbus, GA and come down every year for the GA-FL game. We stay at the Amelia Surf and Racquet Club. We have a very close friend that lives in Jacksonville and 4 years ago we started meeting her for lunch at your restaurant. We have had the same server, Tanya, each time. She is definitely an asset to your establishment. I know she has to see thousands of customers each year, and she only sees us once a year, yet she remembered us, which says a lot her and your staff. She is courteous, professional, and one of the friendliest people we have ever met. The food was excellent again. See you next year

We had Emma and our waitress. She was AWESOME. Checked on us regularly, made sure we had refills and recommended dishes, which we tried and enjoyed. I had the whole snapper. It was delicious. The only minor thing was that it was just slightly overcooked/ dry. Otherwise, it was really good.

Absolutely fabulous meal. The fish dip with pork rinds upgrade for $1, winner! I love how they gave us various dipping sauces complimentary with our fish meal and peel and eat shrimp. Our waitress was so great, I wish I remembered her name!

Hands down BEST seafood and service ON THE WATER! This phenomenal local restaurant fully supports veterans and I absolutely enjoyed their hospitality. If you haven’t met the server named Derrick, you’re missing out on meeting a great smiling face! This wonderful man is a veteran and showed my wife and girls the utmost loving respect! This was our first time here and will not be our last time visiting!

Amazing food right in the river. My family loved this restaurant. There was a little wait for mid day on a Saturday but we got a drink at the bar while we waited. This sits right in the river with its own dock so you can stop in while enjoying the river. The food was incredible. I had the smokehouse burger, my wife had the boil (which is enormous, could feed three people), my son had the mahi tacos, and his friend had the firehouse burg. Everyone loved the food. The flavor of the food only enhanced the whole experience. And the boil was awesome! And the staff, while really busy, are just as amazing. What a great restaurant. We will be back.

We arrived at 4:30 so that we could enjoy a relaxed dinner. Starting off with drinks and appetizers. We got a blue curacao floater pina colada strawberry margarita combination. OMG it was delicious. We got Gator bite appetizers. They were delicious. For dinner I got the pambalaya. A dish with 10 shrimp rice bed and the most delicious sauce you ever ate. It did not need the lemon slice .In fact I was concerned it would be spicy hot and it wasn't. It was just delicious . She got the fish tacos. Topped with crunchy fried onion strips blackened shrimp served with coleslaw and cheesy grits. Her only concern was not enough cheese in the grits. Spoken like a true northerner. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious.. Our waitress is incredibly attentive and yet gave us plenty of room to enjoy our lengthy meal. It was my 65th birthday and I was given. We were given a choice of bread pudding or key lime pie. I loved their bread pudding with the bourbon sauce. I highly recommend the bread pudding. It was the best birthday present ever. Thank you, palms fish camp restaurant. What I was making a clipp

Restaurant has a lot of good potential with poor execution. Regular water tastes like chemicals not good. Prices are missing from the menu so you have to use your phone to show those. Friend had to wait extra for tacos and flavor left allot to be desired. Ordered signature fried Mayport shrimp fried and coleslaw. Shrimp were good but undersized for $23. Fries were frozen and we had to wait at least 30 minutes for food. We did go when they were busy and I have to mention how loud the inside is. Hard to hold a conversation or listen to questions.

10 out of 10 - would eat here again. "Palmalaya" with Parmesan sauce drizzled over the top was out of this world. Thank you Layne for suggesting it and being a great server! Excellent service, cool, laid back vibe and 5 star food. Only regret is that I don't live closer.

The conch fritters were great. And we shared a sampler between 2 of us with fried oysters, smoked flounder, fried shrimp, and a soft sheled crab battered and fried up and it was the perfect amount for the 2 of us to share. It all tasted great especially the fried oysters with there dipping sauce. It wasn't tartar sauce but similar to it but thinner consistency but it was great with everything but mostly the oysters. The cheese grits were good but not great. Since we came in late, a little before closing, we didn't get fresh cheese grits and I think they just microwaved the last bit of it up for us. But other than that it was great. They've got a full bar inside and outside right on the St. John's River with great views. I'm from New Mexico but I am picky about seafood and it being fresh and honestly it was fresh and tasted great too. I really enjoyed this place. I'll be back for sure. And it's next to one of the many boat ramps which is nice too. And outside they have a vending machine where u can buy bait, so convenient and clever. Honestly just a nice cool place. 😎 😊

The shrimp and grits were good. The clam chowder was even better. Long wait but worth it. Packed on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Decent local seafood restaurant on the water. The outdoor seating area has plenty of fans so you won’t be having a heat stroke in the summer. The seafood was delicious and fresh. Prices change so don’t rely on the prices listed on the menu. The service could improve; our server took our order and disappeared until bringing us the check at the end.

Gorgeous waterfront view. There is a dock so you can boat or jetski your way there. They also have a boat ramp. Plenty of parking. They sell jewelry, art and Palm's Fish Camp apparel. Super friendly staff, live music, delicious cocktails and food!
