Let me begin by saying that our server, Emily, was delightful and attentive. We started the meal with guacamole that was delicious BUT... It came in a bowl that was over half filled with lettuce! At $8, I expect more than a thin layer of guacamole over a layer of lettuce stuffing. The menu entry says nothing about that. The iced tea was good, real brewed tea... That matters where I'm from. My main course was a beef burrito with Boom Boom sauce. It was good, but not amazing. A little too much salt. Desert was a generous slice of tres leches cake. Let me tell you, that cake was on point! The cake and Emily's service saved this from being a two star review. edited for grammar.

Disappointing. They have & unique take on tex-Mex, too spicy salsa & too spicy refried beans. Enchilada was mostly onion & green pepper slices with an interesting queso/tomato sauce. The queso for chips has meat in it. No coke from Mexico. Staff was nice, food not so much. In fact gave me indigestion. Lips were burning, too, like they do when the food has MSG.

This was my 6th trip to this Chuy's Restaurant. As always, everything was absolutely perfect. Got the Enchiladas Family Kit to-go, 8 enchiladas of your choice , with an awesome mix of Toppings/Sauces. DELICIOUS!!! I love that it's so easy to get the take out there. You park just steps away from the takeout door, you can either wait in your vehicle, or run inside to get your food. Either way, it is always hot and ready to go. Awesome staff, phenomenal food, and a great location.

I enjoyed thier nachos made perfectly But I am writing ✍️ this because I felt that I had an amazing experience there. Friendly staff amazing people. Our food was great and wow the decor in this place just makes a person feel happy inside and like as if they were at a resort or theme park beautifully done and thought out. Also we all three bought t-shirts from the from I got the Taco cat 🐈 t-shirt love it. I will return to another Chuys in the future

What a Gem!!! The food is fantastic. Our meals offered plenty of flavor, spice, and a wonderful contrast of hot & cold in the same bite! This location is definitely in the saved re-run list. Our visit was around 8pm on a weekday...shortly before closing. There was no crowd, only a few other patrons inside on our visit. There was a small staff covering all the tables...our server was a mix of people including the bartender...the service was not lacking...everyone was friendly and pitched in to help! Our wait for food was a little bit lengthy for a not so busy time. We ordered an appetizer to go with the complementary chips and salsa. This location was clean and tidy showing nothing in need of repair...although it would be hard to spot as the decoration style would camouflage it ;). There is a large outdoor seating area available that is close to the same size as available inside seating. We were a party of four with one herbivore and three carnivores, and the menu offered plenty of choices for all of us . We ordered four different entrees, and with sides our entire table came to life! Our table was a food party, as it was filled with a colorful variety of foods and dips-from my experience this is the pattern of many Latino food eateries ;) so if you are hungry Latino is a great choice. This location is in the heart of the St John's Town center shopping district...great for those evening date nights or a bite to eat after a long day of shopping. Easy to find and a short jog from the expressway. This location had plenty of parking, but no recommendation for large trucks with trailers or RV's. Our meals were fairly priced-about 10-15 per person. I felt the appetizer - a bowl of queso dip - was a bit pricey for what it was, but it felt justifiable for the amount of chips and salsa that was complementary. If you're on a budget when the server asks casually if you would like a bowl of queso or guac...pay attention ;). Overall the value-food-service ratio was above average, and based on our experience we can't wait to revisit this location.

This was our first time here at Curt’s but will not be our last! The food was amazing, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. Everything we tried was delicious including the queso! If you’re in the mood for Tex-Mex, this is a great place to eat!

Great restaurant, my wife's high-school friend visited from out of town and they love Mexican cuisine. Everything was good, be aware the burritos are huge! Food was fresh and I was surprised how fast our order was ready! Good experience.

I just checked out Chuy's, and let me tell you, it was awesome! The food amazing, seriously! Massive portions that'll leave you stuffed. The vibe in there is really cool, and the prices won't break the bank. The service was top-notch. I'm definitely going back to Chuy's!

Recommended to go here. I was super hungry and wanted a snack, ended up ordering a full meal and it arrived too quick! Daniel hooked us up! Thank you for treating your new customers so well, definitely coming back. Plates came to the table really hot so take caution not to touch the plates. The dips were really fresh, nacho chips were really thin and now seems to be my preference. Everything was fresh.

On this visit on a Sunday afternoon, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was about 60% full. Food is always hot and fresh. The service is usually dependent upon your lone server. Haven't seen much teamwork in the service staff. It usually doesn't diminish the experience. On this day, the A/C was working too well. It was quite chilly. We enjoy this location and will return when we are in the area.

Chuy's is a favorite for my whole family. The choices, portion sizes, and flavors keep us coming back over and over. Nice work Chuys!

As a Texas native Chuy's used to be a taste of home. However the last three times I have been the quality of the food has not been up to the standard I expected from them. Combining this with the drastically reduced menu (RIP the Fried Chicken and green chilli salsa) I really can't bring myself to continue returning. At least their Margaritas are still good

I really would just come here for the chips. I love their thin chips but it just couldn't make up for how poor the food quality was with both of our meals. The beans and rice tasted like something I would have heated up in the microwave, they lacked flavor and tasted odd. The cheese enchiladas were ok, the sauce wasn't great, the taco shell tasted stale, and the cheese drenched on a large tortilla chip was not appetizing. My husband ordered a burrito and the meat was burned on the inside. The cheese didn't taste good. I don't like leaving poor reviews, but the food is such low quality I couldn't give it anything higher. The service was good, the waitress was kind and understanding, she offered to put in a separate order for the burned burrito but we weren't interested in trying anything else. I say the extra star ⭐ was for the kind service.

This is nothing like true Tex-Mex food. Overly spicy and the queso is greasy and nothing like found in any true TexMex restaurant. The waitress was quick and nice and the food came fairly quickly. The salad came without the dressing and when we asked for dressing they walked away and never came back leaving us to have to request it again. If you are wanting true TexMex do NOT eat here! The pics may look good but the food is horrible The only pro to this establishment is they offer a military discount

Really what was expecting of this Tex Mex restaurant , some food lack of flavours, tortilla soup lacks broth but taste wasn't bad. Taco salad was kind of different but good portion, chips ok salsa was good. Other than place was cleaned and customer service was good.

Cool place. Loved the chips and salsa. The salsa is more like a Pico de Gallo, but it is delicious! I ordered the steak burrito, and it was tasty as well. I added some cheese on top, which gave it a good flavor. It was strange because they didn't have knives available when our food came out. Took about 5 min. Kinda strange, but no biggie.

The food was wonderful and the service was normal. I would go to this place for the ambience and the food. It has outdoor seating and the vibe is great. I know that this is a chain but it surprises me that this Tex-Mex chain doesn't sell "Horchata". It's the first thing that I drink when I go to any Mexican place.

Come see Morgan she’s da best in To Go!! It’s extremely rare, especially in these times where you find a restaurant they can do such a well prepared to go order with the proper heat temperature of the proper size. Everything is nice and neat. Definitely a big step up from about a year ago or two years ago !!

What a random date night find! Just a trip to the town center to buy some books at second and Charles and wow! A place my wife and I had not been to yet. Chuy's, which I honestly thought was a resurrection of Chevys until I got close enough to realize I was reading it wrong. Nonetheless, I was ready for Tex-Mex and hell yes I got Tex-Mex! The place was eclectic and wild. See my pictures. Cathy, who waited our table was wonderful and gave the experience even more charm. The food was delicious. We both got burritos. I the chicken and my wife the fajita. HUGE is an understatement. We both left with plenty left over and full bellies. We managed to also get seated and eat incredibly fast for a town center Saturday night dinner. Just wonderful. I wanted a shirt but held back. I will come back and get that shirt and bring others who know not of this delectable dinner spot. Much recommend.

Weekday Happy Hour is 3pm-6pm. Bring in a photo of your dog for a free appetizer. Silverware is sanitized and put in paper sealed bags. Restaurant is bright and colorful! The food was alright. Our chicken was way over-cooked and it didn’t taste amazing.

The food was really good and my strawberry margarita tasted SO FRESH! You could tell all their ingredients were fresh. The service was really bad though. Maybe because our server was double-sat (because we wanted a booth?) or maybe it was because our skin was different than everyone else being served? No way to tell for sure, but we were treated differently - no refills, no water, some detectible attitude, and only the baaaare minimum.

First visit. Cool decor and vibe. Service was good. Food tasted good. Steak burrito was fantastic. Don't miss the hatch green chili. We were too full for dessert, but maybe next time. There are plenty of great Mexican places around,, and even a few TexMex, but Chuy's is worthy of a visit. We will be back.
