Ok so….it’s been quite a while since I’ve stopped in. Super hungry, wanted veggie patties, just come in off the truck…nah ready yet. I ordered Plaintain instead. They say check the food before leaving. They should say TASTE before leaving. They were horrible a few fresh fried and old fried mixed together, not to mention they taste like old grease. I BIT 3 and they were horrible. I deserve fresh grease at 1:15 p.m….. it’s been 4 years since I visited. I liked it better in late 90’s!!!

SPOILED FOOD I don’t know who or what going on there but I ordered 4 different meals and the oxtails smelt sour it looks old losing the usual dark brown tint to a more light faded color and the plantain it came where bright yellow looks like it’s been sitting in water over night with zero to nun stove burns I wish I could give zero stars for the audacity of the workers but everything else was below average or tasted OLD just go to spices on the south side or any other Caribbean places you can find because you’ll not be respected here

I had the stew beef regular and it was a lot could serve two. Definitely delicious, no complaints here.

I have visited a few Jamaican restaurants to find the best spot in jacksonville. So far this is my third and it's my favorite so far. The food was delicious!! The jerk chicken was so flavorful and heat was minimal so you could really taste the flavors of the chicken. I had jerk chicken before where only thing I could tatse was the spicyness. The beef patty was pretty good as well. The customer service was ok. I was impressed how fast my order came out. It's the perfect spot for my work lunch. I will definitely be back.

Ordered the oxtails, beans and rice, a chicken and beef patty. I also ordered a side of Mac n cheese for my kids but they didn’t have it ready by the time my delivery driver got there so they called me and let me have anything extra I wanted from the inconvenience. Great customer satisfaction. Their food was really good. I love the coconut taste in the rice. Definitely authentic Jamaican food. Highly recommending them. Also I ordered through GrubHub and within 15 mins I had my food delivered.

The food was pretty good... I was a little skeptical since some reviews question the freshness of the food and consistency of flavor.. I went on a Tuesday and my food tasted fresh. The spice level was just enough to give you a little heat all while still being able enjoy the flavors of your meal... We ordered a curry goat as well as a jerk chicken plate.. The curry goat actually had a decent amount of meat.. I’ve been to places where the curry goat is more bone than meat.. The establishment was clean, food is reasonably priced, and the lady at the counter was very nice... I would eat here again..

Its a hole in the wall, in a unappealing neighborhood, and the drive thru service needs revamping.. BUT THE FOOD!?!! OMG!!! will revisit when I'm back in Jacksonville, We ordered, Cuury goat, Brown Stew chicken, Oxtails, Jerk chicken & patties.. THE PRICE BLOW MIND...

Big up Byron the chef, food was amazing. I bought a brown stew fish yesterday and I must say it was really good! Fish was well seasoned and cook to perfection. Whenever I visit Jacksonville I’m sure I’ll come back to visit this restaurant. Value for money and great taste!

I really like the oxtails!! It could be a little pricey though.. one time I bought a regular tray of oxtails and they were tough I pretty much threw the whole plate away but I after a few months i went back and bought another tray it was way better than that last batch. I also let them know about the visit and how disappointed I was. Ever since my food has been very tasty and fresh !!!

Good customer service goes along way... As I was paying for my food, I just want to ask a question and she had a major attitude then I said this is my first time here, her attitude got worse so I just said thank you and just walk away so I can just wait on my food n get the hell out.... overall food wasn't good but the do give you plenty for jumbo.

The food here made me sick. I have only been to one other restaurant that has made me vomit and I will never buy food from them again. Only thing good was the cheese cake, but it tasted no different from a store bought one, so that might be where it came from.

Plate was plentiful, meat was extremely tender. If I could add anything it would be more spice! Was a bit on the sweeter side! Overall I would definitely order again.

I love this place. I order them on DoorDash and its always fresh and made to order. They offer plant based options which is excellent and hard to come by. With my last order they gave me an additional slice of cake. I would highly recommend! Thank you for valuing your customers and offering plant based alternatives!🥰😊🙌🏼

The food is excellent however they are rarely open on time. The opening hours are at 10 o’clock on Saturday. When I arrived at 11 they were still closed. This is not the first time. They have no consideration for your time or travel. They rarely answer the phone so you don’t know if they are open or not. The staff could be more professional.

Just tried this place. I ordered the regular oxtail plate, the oxtails were so small, I got 4 small bones (two were really tough and had fat wrap on the outer part with really tough meat on the inside). Disappointed. I’m now sitting in a drive through to order food at a different restaurant. The oxtails does have a good taste but I wouldn’t waste my time coming here again. Too pricey for the amount of food you get and staff is not the friendliest (with the exception of one lady we encountered, she was friendly and spoke when we entered, the cashier was not friendly at all).

Omg this place is delicious. I got the stew beef rice & peas it comes with a side mine was cabbage. Two mild beef patties ( made fresh daily). Lastly a Jamaican cream soda. Happy & full my family was with leftovers for later.

Could be a little more customer friendly. I literally couldn't walk and called to ask if they would allow me to go through the drive through which only opens at 8pm and he told me absolutely not! No exceptions.

This Caribbean Restaurant is definitely a go to the curry goat and sweet cabbage is AMAZING I love this place great service as well reminds me so much of home in Ct. 💯❤️

The service is always great when I go in no matter what time of the day I arrive. The food is somewhat of a hit or miss. The plantins are good but for some reason there's ALWAYS a dry one with the others which is odd. The cabbage is good but I'm assuming for it to stretch, they add corn to it and other spices to make it mildly spicy and I don't like that. Rice and peas are delicious with the curry goat I always get but they add potatoes to it. Smh

Very disappointed. You can tell the food was made with no kind of pride, just dollars signs. I received a meal that was obviously not fresh and I suspect reheated, if not dying under a lamp. I couldnt eat it, as I didn't feel the meal was safe to consume.

Yhis is my fifth time here and my 7 time eating ox tail. The food enriching my taste buds.. I love the ox tail. I just wish my diet would allow me to eat this every day. The people who works here are nice and kind.

Ok the food was decent, my problem with this place is you pay for a large order of Oxtails 24.00 on Uber eats plus tax and a service fee and tip. Just to get a mixture of oxtails with most beef neck bones . I wish I could post a picture… I will NEVER a order from this restaurant again… Buyer beware!!!!!!

Jerk Chicken is too wet and spicy 🌶️ ! After I finished eating, the meal it gave me the runs 🏃‍♂️ to the toilet 🚽with a spicy 🌶️ butt ! The service and Dine-In Atmosphere were excellent, but I don’t plan on eating here again!

After dark it is window pickup only. It didn't take long for me to get my food. Very quick considering it's a window for ordering and pick up orders. The staff was quite friendly.

The hostess/cashier at the front was lovely. The atmosphere is calm and nice. The food was absolutely delicious and the (dessert) cheesecake is to die for. I'm definitely going back for those oxtails very soon 🥰

This is literally the worst Caribbean food I’ve ever had. I ordered a jumbo jerk chicken, and the chicken tastes old and is very dry. You can tell it was made a couple days ago. This is completely unacceptable. The cabbage is really disgusting as well.

Ordered last night through doordash and the food was old. Rice hard as a brick, macaroni was disgusting and the drink (the punch) tastes like straight ginger and the after taste was horrible I will definitely never order from this place again
