Really delicious Asian fusion. My husband got the beef ramen and it was so good. I ordered the cumin beef and it was spicy and cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Very attentive.

My dinner tonight was ruined by a server named Megan (Meghan?). She asked for my order, then as I began telling her my order, she turned to another person and asked for their order; the person wasn't part of our party/family. I said, "Excuse me, I wasn't finished." When I requested my food cooked without sauce, she said that everyone at the table would have to agree to having no sauce. I attempted to explain that I have had my food without sauce in the past. She made a 'disgusted' face, and said that "The chefs are new, and it's up to them." I said, "Never mind; I don't need to have anything else". I had ordered an appetizer. Instead of leaving it at that, she continued to make excuses, saying that I could speak to the chef, that she would speak to the chef, and generally making a big deal out of my decision to not order an entree. I raised my voice and said, "ENOUGH. Drop the subject!" Apparently, she didn't care that I might be allergic to the sauce, or that I might not be able to have the sauce due to a medical condition, nor was it any of her business why I didn't want sauce. Whatever the reason for my not wanting sauce on my food, it was not a subject for extended discussion whilst seven people were waiting to order. Instead of purchasing a full dinner, I had a soft drink ($3.50) and an appetizer ($7.00). The rest of the adults in our party had $35.00 worth of food, each. Lost revenue for the restaurant. I added a hefty tip to the payment...I paid forour party's meal... which she may think was an apology from me. It was not. She needs to receive more training, so that she doesn't cost the restaurant customers. I sincerely hope that she's new and tonight was the result of inexperience. Although my family loves Hibachi, I won't return. Management can thank Megan.

I took no photos. Omg the food was delicious. I went with some co workers. We shared edamame. I had the hibachi shrimp. It was fresh and came with soup and salad. Definitely worth the price. Food was fresh. I tried the Jimmy Smith roll. Not many places sell this. It was so good. I will be back. I loved this place. Service was great. Best place for hibachi and they have the Jimmy Smith roll.

We ordered the dumplings and crab rangoon for apps. They were 🔥! So good, especially the dumplings. We split two rolls, the mountain and the spider, which were also delicious. My fiancé had the pad thai. He said it was good but the beef didn’t taste the greatest. I also ordered the generals chicken with noodles. It was a touch spicy but so good. Our service was great!

The place was nearly empty. The food and service were excellent. Lunch for 2 adults was over $77 before the tip. They add a 20% tip to your bill, then ask for another 20% as well. The hostess explained that the tip is shared between the server and the cook, so they only get 10% each unless we give more. We will not be back unless they decide to pay their employees enough that they will not have to rely on doubled tips.

It was my first time EVER visiting. I had a wonderful time. The show they give you while cooking food in front of you was AWESOME. The dish I ordered (Udon) was not the best for me. But I'm still going to give them another try.

Food was pretty good. I did think this is way overpriced for a hibachi. And the gratuity for everyone is not cool. I know that menu said a cheaper price than my ticket for them plates. They won't get me again. See ya.

Came here for a date night with my hubby without the kids & no regrets! It was busy but not over crowded. Everyone was friendly. Our server was very attentive. All of the food was AMAZING. We did the hibachi grille & had shrimp, steak, salmon, rice, noodles, sushi rolls, and more. All of it was top notch. Definitely will be back.

Our server Craig was fantastic! Super nice, super hospitable. Probably one of the hottest days of the year and a hibachi restaurant isn’t a cool-temperature place to work, but our server and hibachi chef, Maui, were excellent. Great food, regularly checked on us, and our beverages were regularly filled. Maui was soooooo nice and fun to watch. Enjoyable conversation throughout our dinner. Exceptional service!

Very fresh sashimi! This has been a favorite of mine for some years now for the friendly service, great drinks, and yummy food. Also a wonderful happy hour! Highly recommend the salt & pepper ribs! The hibachi is also a wonderful experience. This was the first place I took my daughter for the whole experience and it was perfect then and still is now 6 years later. Definitely order the Bloody Mary, it has a yummy sweet ginger taste that is just delish! I personally have enjoyed family dinners, girls night, happy hour alone, and more! You really can't beat the variety and atmosphere at Kaika.

This place is good for a quick lunch. The service is good and fast. I've been there a couple of times. Sushi options are similar to other locations. For me, the sushi selection is limited because I don't like fried/cooked rolls, imitation crab (crab sticks), or mayo. For me, sushi is fish, rice, and vegetables. This limits my selection unless I customize my order. Miso soup was nice.

We came in on 3/25/23. This was our first experience here. We ordered the jalapeño popper roll, rock n roll, and bad boy roll. They were all excellent! We also ordered the general tso chicken and the pad tai. Both were also excellent and flavorful! Definitely will be returning soon!

the hibachi grill is always nice way to go ! if you have a small party like 3 or less or maybe 4 they will sit you with other people but they have a good way of remembering who gets what at the table. we always end up with the same guy for the hibachi grill and he is always nice n cheerful.

My boyfriend and I had a really nice enjoyable, intimate, and delicious dinner here on a Sunday evening to celebrate my birthday. We got there around 8:40pm and they happily welcomed us in to eat. The waitress was so attentive and the food came out so fast. Will be back and would recommend 10/10. Thank you!

We’re visiting from Charlotte NC, and wow such nice staff that were verry attentive and open to our requests. The hibachi chef we had was suuuper funny and when I offered to share my sake with him, he brought out His own to share!!! Definitely a first!! So we exchanged shots!! The server was very fast and patient. I know I personally ask for a lot at once and he was able to accommodate me and 10 other people at once! The Crab Rangoon here was amazing!!

The restaurant was very beautiful upon arrival. The bathroom smelled moldy. Horrible service, food took 40 minutes to come to the table; I ordered was three sushi rolls. My two coworkers ordered hibachi and was finished eating before my food arrived. The black dragon roll was bland and my rainbow roll was missing the “fishy” taste. It was mostly celery and avocado. The thin slices of fish that were on the rolls had no flavor. The miso soup is broth and green onions only, very salty taste like .39 cents ramen. The waiter was unprepared and unprofessional. The food looked delicious though and the dining room appeared to be clean.

Wow. What a great dinner! Our server Jeri (sorry if misspelled) was on it! She never left us without drinks, ready with boxes and sauces at the end. Our chef was amazing as well. Excellent food. Super friendly too. All in all, we loved our dinner tonight! Looking forward to coming back. ☺️

If you are looking for a good Japanese/Asian fusion place... THIS IS IT! They have regular dining tables, hibachi, and a bar. We of course had to do the hibachi table. Our waitress, Akemi, was fantastic and kept our 13 month old entertained while we waited for food. This is their "lunch portion" (Weekdays only). 2 meats (we got chicken and steak), rice, noodles, veggies, soup, and salad... for $17. Our hibachi chef was Ming (aka Old Guy according to Akemi lol) who was also amazing and even made extra scrambled eggs for our daughter! My husband and I both had a 2 meat lunch meal, a chicken tempura appetizer which tasted great, and of course 2 fountain drinks. They do add 20% gratuity to all hibachi checks, so be advised. But our total came to $65 for it all and there is plenty of leftovers! It's "pricey" for some but oh so worth it!

I went here with my daughter for lunch, and it had a good atmosphere. It was quiet, mainly because there were only two other patrons at the time. The service was fast, and the sushi was excellent.

We are visiting Florida and wanted to go out for hibatchi. After doing some research online, we decided to try this place and we were glad we did! Everything about our experience was wonderful. The customer service here is amazing. The waiter was friendly and attentive to the needs of all of his tables. Our chef(Hugen?) was great as well. He made sure everyone got their food how they asked for it. The people here work hard and it didn't go unnoticed. It was clear to me that customer service is a priority here. We got one of the best hibatchi dinners we have had in a long time. If we get the chance to come back, we will.

I met a girlfriend here for lunch in the bar area. The Waitress was very attentive to our needs. The sushi came out, no dragon with lights this time. That was a little disappointing, because we were the only ones in the place for the first hour. The Chef night of had time to do it. I ordered the bento dinner and a side of sushi along with green tea. My reason for minus one star is I did not check the receipt until I got home. I was charged $7.50 for my friend’s veggie tempura appetizer that I did not consume. Since Covid, it seems like the prices here have gone up considerably. But, the entire restaurant industry has had to raise their prices, so I understand. I won’t be able to come here very often. But, on the lighter side-this is one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville Florida!

Held my birthday celebration at Kaika and the hibachi chef exceeded my expectations for entertainment! He kept my party laughing as he prepared our meals and gave us absolutely delicious food at the end... Excellent dining experience!!

We love this place! We went for dinner and we ordered the shrimp tempura sushi to share as an appetizer. Yum! For dinner we both ordered the Steak and Shrimp hibachi. So delicious! I had the chef give my DH 1/2 of my rice and I still brought home more than I ate. We love the clear soup and salad with ginger dressing. I highly recommend this place.
