From the time we arrived all the employees were very friendly and polite. The build was well maintained and clean. The river view was great. Got to watch the dolphins from our room in the morning and evenings. The kids did enjoy the rooftop pool. The market coffee shop is convenient but very over priced. Guests should be offered a discount. Upon our arrival to our room we noticed there was something wrong with the toilet. We were told someone would come look at it but no one ever showed up. We stayed for two nights both of which we’re extremely hot due to the AC not working properly. I did like the fact they had full size bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash. The water pressure wasn’t good. The rooms were a bit over priced for how small they are. If you want a river front room make sure to book in advance.

Really, "I get it"- business hotel in a great location. Perfect for business in Downtown or for a night/2 during a ball game. 20min.walk to stadium (free shuttles abound), either self or valet parking work great for game days if u are staying @hotel. Staff was very friendly. Hotel restaurants were well staffed, Valet parking was efficient, even the Morton's restaurant was great for a meal. I also get you are paying for the LOCATION as much as anything. All that said - this hotel seriously needs a good re-furbish. Despite "enhance cleaning protocols", carpets were dirty, bathroom are "well-warn", Sink didn't drain and the engineer who came-up didn't fix - just made the shower draining worse. For the current/average rates - this hotel has "a ways to go" to be up to quality you should expect from the Brand or for the cost.

Beautiful hotel, with exceptional service, the staff is amazing from arrival to checkout. Loved the rooms, nice and big with a slider to open for a nice breeze and I really appreciated the large vanity in the bathroom. The Tavern food was excellent and the Market is open 24 hours and has Starbucks! Wish the location was a little better, some areas close by were a bit sketchy but we never felt unsafe however we Ubered everywhere, not a lot in walking distance but a short ride gets you to a large variety of restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown Jacksonville! Modern, sleek, high-rise hotel on the river. Although I'm unsure of the hotel's age, it looks and feels brand new! The hotel features an open lobby concept with lots of comfortable seating, perfect for small gatherings or chats with friends or colleagues. The hotel includes several dining options and lounge adjacent to the lobby and registration area. Perhaps my favorite hotel amenity was the "Market " located in the lobby area, open 24 hours, where you can purchase beverage and food items, some freshly prepared. As a frequent traveler, I wish all hotel's had a "market" as nice and convenient as the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville!! There are numerous dining and shopping options near the hotel. On the day of my visit, it was extremely windy. I opted to dine in-house and grab dinner from the hotel restaurant. I ordered and enjoyed a delicious hamburger with waffle fries. My dining choice and menu selection was perfect for a very inclement weather day. The hotel facility is immaculate! I was totally impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. Even with a large group/convention at the hotel, the hotel was spotless from lobby to guestroom and everywhere in between! My guestroom was very clean and comfortable. Modern decor and furnishings. My favorite guestroom amenity; the reading lights on both sides of the bed! As an avid reader, this feature was greatly appreciated and utilized! Huge thanks to the room designer for adding this helpful feature!! Finally, I must include the friendly, efficient and professional staff associates. All of whom I encountered were so kind and helpful! The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is an upscale, beautiful and comfortable hotel. If you require accommodations in downtown Jacksonville, I strongly suggest the Hyatt Regency!

I had a great time at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful with everything that I needed. The ladies who cleaned my room were very kind. The spaces that were used for our week long conference were very accommodating. The view from my room (1012) was very pleasant. I definitely recommend this place!

We loved this spot! We had a water view and enjoyed our room. The pool/spa area was disappointing, the spa closed and no tiki bar or pool side service. We found our way around the property and met friendly staff. Nice clean and safe place. Breakfast buffet was great, the market store was very convenient, we loved the bar/food area and also enjoyed an expensive night at Morton's. Overall a great stay & Giants won the game we came to see! Hyatt had flags up and were in tailgate mode which was super fun too. Go big blue!

Great view of the river when opening the window. The hotel was clean and had a lot of options with several restaurants and a 24/7 “market” for small things like snacks and coffee. They easily accommodated our early check-in request. My daughter loved the heated pool and fitness center

We enjoyed our stay. Short distance to Daily’s and is easily walkable. The rooms are very pricey for the quality but overall a very favorable recommendation. Bonus were the dolphins playing in river and the view was spectacular at sunrise.

Overall great hotel located central from all main highway connections. It's on the waterfront that is a big plus and not too far from the convention center. Hotel rooms were clean, many elevators to not wait too long, attached parking garage access via bridge or cross the street. Here is a tip....if your AC shut off for no reason, unlock and slide the sliding door open and slam it shut as I believe the sensor is tied to the sliding door to cut off when open. The vibration from the wind triggers it thinking it is open so had to do that few times. Good food options on-site so that is always appreciated but their Cafe equipment was broken so no hot breakfast sandwich were available there. Overall, nice property with friendly staff.

My fiancé, our daughter, and I had a phenomenal visit! All of the staff were so friendly and interactive. The customer service made this trip unforgettable. They really go above and beyond! The view from our room was amazing! We got to see so many boats, several dolphins, and a helicopter right outside of our room. We got to watch the bridge rise and lower for a large vessel. The rooms were clean and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurants and amenities inside the building were amazing as well. We had a yummy meal at Shor for supper. We will definitely be staying again!

The room was nice. The location was excellent..see the room view pics. We asked for a handicapped room, and the bathroom was awesome, especially the shower. So why 1 star, you might ask? There is a major flaw in this hotel...the microwave is communal use! For real??? 150+ a night room rates in a multibillion dollar property, and you can't afford an in room microwave??? I should not have to go by the ice machine ( see picture) to heat up some leftovers. Unacceptable!

My best friend was there fir a conference, I was there for vacation. Double check your rooms to make sure you have everything needed. They are very swift with tending to your request. I believe suites are only rooms with dressers, ask for extra hangers. Dinner at Morton's was good. But the best thing there is the Tavern and a server named Jorge. Jorge is the best, he made my day by singing Happy birthday to me, every time I saw him he was pleasant, whether it was when we ordered or he was interacting with others. Tavern, Jorge is a keeper.

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville for business. The NY Giants were in town so I went to the ballgame as well. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium and very well located along the river that runs through the city. The rooms could use a little bit of a refresh but other than that the hotel is great and the service has been excellent as well. This Hyatt has two restaurants and two convenience stores within the property. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Jacksonville.

We stayed for two nights. The biggest frustration was two things…the pool is under construction. Why not discount the room rate if your customer is not able to use all of your amenities? Also, the towels were very rough and the room temperature would not regulate. When we first got here, it was cool in the room but overnight and the next day the temperature didn’t seem to cool off. Not being able to swim or relax in the hot tub or regulate the room temperature made our stay very frustrating.

In my experience at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, I'd like to suggest an enhancement to security measures. Given the unfortunate incident of backpack theft, installing security cameras on each floor could significantly contribute to the safety of guests. The addition of surveillance would not only act as a deterrent but also provide valuable footage in case of any incidents. Clear signage indicating the presence of cameras can serve as an additional preventive measure. I recommend collaborating with the management to consider these security upgrades, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all guests.

Upon check in I was made aware that some how there were two reservations in my name. One that was completely prepaid for (the correct reservation) and one that was unpaid for. The young lady that helped check me in was extremely nice and stated that she would cancel the incorrect one. During our stay I had no complaints. The rooms were nice and clean. It was a great stay. Upon check out I went to the desk. Paid my $60 parking fee for the parking garage and left the hotel with a receipt saying I had a $0 balance owed. Once I get to the airport my husband texts me and they have now charged my card AGAIN for the full stay that had already been paid for. I call and the not so friendly gentleman that I was talking to argued with me telling me I was mistaken and the hotel was not paid for. When I attempted to tell him I had the confirmation receipt that it was IN fact paid for and that the receipt given to me when I left stated the only charges would be the parking charges he rudely cut me off and again stated that I had not paid for the room before hand. I tried multiple times to let him know that yes I did pay for the room. And ask him why I was paying darn near $1400 for a room?! Finally hung up with him called and talked to the front desk supervisor. She told me she would be reversing the charges. That was Monday……. Still have yet to see the almost $700 extra dollars that was pulled from my account without my knowledge. Called again today and they stated that they had reversed it yesterday and it must be my bank not letting the money come back into my account…… Now here is my thing….. you took this money out of my account without my knowledge….. money that had already been paid to you…. And now it is taking this long to be returned to me. I find this completely ridiculous. For a hotel that has the ratings this one does you would think that customer service would be their first priority. Apparently I was wrong in thinking that. I will never stay at another Hyatt owned hotel after this experience. Hopefully I get my money back soon considering they basically stole it from me anyways.

Thin walls, room was not very clean and was unsanitary. Staff was only moderately welcoming and friendly. Terrible dining service and food. Manager did apologize which was appreciated but expected much better accommodation and services

Room was nice. View was great. Guest services is super rude! Called at 10:30pm because it was 75’ in our room, the lady I spoke to was so rude! Demanding she send maintenance to our room. I tried to explain we were already in bed and had a sleeping child. I just asked how to switch the a/c on. She would let me talk and just kept saying she was sending someone to our room. I had to yell at her to not have someone sent. I asked to speak to a manager and she disconnected me. I called five more times before someone would answer and they would not let me speak to a manager. The next morning when I told the manager what had happened he didn’t really seem to care. Just saying “you know how it is training the night staff”. He did send me an email saying he gave me some Hyatt points. “Whoopi”. The nicer hotel you stay in the ruder the staff. The girls at the 24hr kitchen are pretty rude too! I won’t be staying here again.

This was a business trip and I brought my family. The hotel is ok but this is not that type of review. At approximately 10:00 pm an emergency alarm went off advising us to evacuate and to use the stairs, not elevators. We got dressed, got our 5 year old out of bed and I carried her down 15 flights of stairs with the other occupants. One larger lady struggled down while others helped her. When we got to the bottom floor, no one from the hotel was outside to advise us what to do. It seemed business as usual on the 1st floor bar. We could not hear the alarm on the first floor and did not know if it had went off on that floor. No security was in view. The scene from the evacuees was one of terrified kids crying and no leadership from the hotel. We went in with a few of the other evacuees to the front desk to ask if it was a false alarm. No one really had an answer so we asked for the manager. A man without a name tag who identified himself as "Jamie" came out and said he is the manager. His attitude was "what's the problem, someone pulled the fire alarm!" We told him there are other terrified people outside waiting for some leadership and direction. Jamie had no empathy and did not seem to care. He said "you're safe, aren't you?" Next came security who were more willing to hear us and eventually told us they are sending security around the perimeter to let the evacuees know it was a false alarm and it is safe to go in. 30 minutes later, after we were already back in the room a man got on the intercom and announced that the alarm had been reset and there is no need to evacuate. We understand false alarms happen. However, God help the guests of this hotel should a real emergency happen! There was no leadership and no emergency plan. Hotel general manager: please pull the outside and inside lobby video and use it for training. Hire an OUTSIDE security and fire consultant to review the video and train your staff how to keep your guests safe and to have a clear emergency plan, even for false alarms. Give Jamie some remedial guest service training. It seemed we were not worth his time and he was dismissive. He did not seem happy to be called out from behind closed doors. Those of us who went down 15 flights of stairs carrying kids or helping disabled adults did not know what Jamie and security knew, that it was a false alarm. That is all we wanted. Don't leave evacuees outside with no direction. I would not stay in this 19 story hotel until I knew that the staff had underwent serious safety training and that the hotel had an emergency plan. It is not safe in this post-911 world we live in to be so nonchalant and dismissive about safety and security.

Super friendly staff Room was ok. The carpet in my room was a little dirty. Feather pillows are great if you like that. My only real problem was the mattress . It was too stiff for my comfort. It felt as if the bed were crowned. Seems like a good location. I get not every room can have a good view. I give honest reviews and for me that bed was the worst.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville was made truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service and thoughtful gestures that went above and beyond our expectations. A special mention to Vivian at the front desk, whose warmth and dedication played a pivotal role in celebrating our engagement. While we were out for the proposal dinner, the team took the initiative to beautifully adorn our room with rose petals, creating an atmosphere of romance and surprise. The complementary wine, cheese, and fruit was a delightful touch, marking the celebration of our special moment. We are deeply grateful and will forever cherish these memories created at the Hyatt.

Did not appreciate room assignment. There is no view with closed in roof out the window. Room temperature could not be adjusted within room (broken) and extremely cold throughout stay. Feel that treatment by hotel employees encountered rates a no return verdict. The group we were with was a very positive experience.

We wanted to choose our room, but the lady in the lobby told us that we had to pay extra for each feature. They demanded a separate fee for the location of the room and a separate fee for the larger room. When we got to the room, there were 2 towels. The sink drains of the standard rooms were clogged. I lost a lot of time cleaning after shaving my beard. Then I used the iron in the room to iron the clothes. But all my clothes were wet. It is obvious that the toilet bowl is dirty everywhere. I had so many problems within 4 hours of arriving at the hotel. I have to stay in this hotel for 4 more days.

The location is great if you want to be on the riverfront. We paid for the view and it was nice. But the room was a wreck. The tub would not drain and the room had a terrible odor. They allow dogs, and we had a barking dog and screaming kids in the next room. They did move us to another room and gave us a $50 credit for the inconvenience. But the second room wasn't much better. Overall the place is in MAJOR need of renovation.

I’ve never wrote a review in my life, but I just got off the phone with the young lady at the front desk and her name was Shontae. She gave me the best customer service I’ve ever had in my life. She went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered. She truly wanted to help and make sure I was happy with my room, and I can’t give enough stars for her work ethic. She needs to immediately get put in a management position, because she cares, and as a business owner myself, I can tell you that is very hard to find.

Stayed here for a concert, and wow, what a view. I spent so much of my time walking up and down near the water. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Pet friendly! And the views from the room, perfect!

We had requested house keeping that never came, well they did come once at 4pm and we were showering at that moment to get ready for dinner so it was inconvenient. The room was fine although it said queen beds and I sleep on a queen bed and these were double beds and they sank in the middle so the sleep itself was uncomfortable. Other than that location was beautiful and staff was nice outside of house keeping. Fridge was cold no microwave though in the room so that was inconvenient considering the restaurants are all in the hotel so more than likely you'll take something to go. Speaking of the restaurants, they were wonderful food was amazing, wait service although short handed were very attentive

I had the pleasure staying here, Bobby in guest services, was absolutely wonderful. He was so friendly and helpful. Played around with my kids which made them feel special. Guest check in was easy and the woman who checked us in was so pleasant. The rooms were a wee bit dated, but everyone’s kindness made up for it.

Big Hotel. Nothing is included. No breakfast, parking, newspapers, etc. I was here for work and was disappointed to not even get a mini fridge. There was only a cooler. Food in the hotel is very expensive. As is the gift shop. The staff is really nice. Probably a great hotel for vacation but not for a work trip.

Very nice hotel. Walking distance to Ever bank. Took 20 min to walk the mile. They have a 24 hr market down stairs with a bar and a restaurant for dinner. Right on the river. Plenty of parking next door on an adjacent parking garage.

Everything was great, clean hotel, good service all around. When there is someone that stands out especially in the customer service area or service area I can't not mention them because its rare in these days. Lemuel Parler is the guest service bell attendant and could not be more perfect for this job! He is funny, professional, helpful and just a perfect joy!!!! William in the bar is amazing and you can tell how much pride he takes in his job. There are details that some bartenders don't do, like if your going to shake a drink do it, he takes time, careful planning, and makes the most awesome jalapeno margarita ever! He had a full bar, never got upset always had a smile on his face and was awesome! The Hyatt is lucky to have these 2 on board for sure, and that doesn't mean that everyone else wasn't good, these two just went beyond the call of customer duty in my opinion. Compliments to the manager as well, a well lead group is a reflection on you!

The staff was really outstanding. I had contacts with many, it began with a young lady opening the door for me when I arrived, Derrick checking me in quickly for two rooms and conversing with me from where I was from. The gal behind the bar was quite amazing and the salad I had was really good. The breakfast was excellent as well. The rooms were really clean and I had a great view. Really enjoyed a couple of nearby places that were a short walk, Estrella Cocina and Justice Pub, just wish there were more. Also really liked the eight elevators for little to no wait. My only suggestion is that the water is complimentary in the room.

I stayed at this hotel while I was here for a work conference. This hotel was close to everything as we walked everywhere we went such as sports stadiums of the Jumbo Shrimp and the jaguars. As well as lots of restaurants or bars and a brewery. The hotel also has great views of the river from many different spots in the hotel. The river is just steps away from front the front of the hotel and has a great path to go for a walk along the river. Photos were taken from my hotel room

Very nice hotel. We were welcomed with open arms, check in was wonderful and made us feel valued the moment we got to the counter. We got the 19th floor, the top. Room with a great view! Several food places on site. The bar is nice, take advantage of happy hour. They have several elevators which makes for hardly no wait times. Room was clean. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for New Years (as we live in Jax) and man was it worth it! We had an absolute blast and literally had a front row seat for the fireworks off the river! The customer service was phenomenal!! Every single time I called With questions they were extremely nice and accommodating ever time. Special shout out to valet/concierge for making us feel extra special too- Was very surprised with the hospitality to be honest - a little pricey but WORTH IT Will be back!

This is an old hotel that has been poorly renovated/maintained. From light fixtures falling off walls, to a tub that didn't drain properly, to smoke alarms hanging from the wall...just had a general feeling of lipstick on a pig. However, the Staff was friendly and food was ok. Just feel like there are much nicer options for the price.

Bobby Ross is very welcoming and respectful. He eagerly helped us with our items and ensured we were accommodated upon arrival, which made him very memorable. On our second stay, it was such a pleasure to have him assist us and receive his exceptional hospitality again. We arrived right on time to see the light show and from the hotel the view was amazing. This location is perfect. Overall, He and the entire staff made each visit pleasant. In fact, we will be returning again soon.

Typical city hotel w overpiced parking and food/cocktails. The biggest disappointment was the almost $30 breakfast buffet. ALL hot food items were ice cold. Bread products and pastries rock hard stale and inedible. Cost of juice & coffee almost force you into this option instead of menu ordering. Even a free Hampton Inn breakfast is hot and fresh. Just awful. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Next time in the city we'll stay elsewhere.

Loved it! One night stay, but arrival to departure we were wowed. Easy to park and great signage, lovely front desk staff, so kind and welcoming, beautiful lobby/ atrium area and we had a clean, comfortable room with an incredible view of the city and the river! Truly though the staff are the diamonds of this property… Wonderful service at the lobby bar, lots of smiling faces and sincere and genuine interactions with everyone there and at the Market specifically. We were just spending a stop over there this trip, but are already planning a return visit specifically to spend time in Jacksonville, Florida and will 100% stay again!!!

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is a great hotel stay. The view was spectacular and the area was just right for the emotional state I was in need. Perfect place for walking and jogging morning and afternoon with beautiful water and Sunrise and Sunset times. Amazing. Our room had a wonderful view... Sidewalks everywhere quiet and secure to do long walks around the Jacksonville River. I found a very good restaurant outside from the hotel that made my favorites dinner in town....The hotel have a Market place store right on front of the elevators. I did not like the quality of sandwiches available in the market store... but they had other items "on the go" options. I love the berries parfait and lattes, just convenient for a quick bite. I love the pool ambience and the gym in the same floor turning to be a perfect convenience. I LOVE the hotel and I miss very much the 3 days stay was more than enough to wish to go back asap in the near future... 💛🌹

Celebrating our anniversary with a river-view room was a delight! We enjoyed the daily lights on the nearby bridge. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was indeed five stars! Special thanks to Rosie from the restaurant for my morning coffee.

What a perfect stay for a weekend getaway. My wife and I were able to get away, without the kids, for our anniversary and the staff at this hotel made it worth it. Bobby Ross, in guest services, went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I had the best stay. He went out of his way and decorated our room as a nice surprise for when we checked in. Thank you again to the management and staff for this amazing and unforgettable trip!

They put water bottles in the room, but for purchase ($3.75 each) not free. I found a hair strand in the bath tub, but surprisingly otherwise it did seem to be a clean tub. All drawers, doors, etc were functioning and clean. You have to pay to park in the garage, there's a valet too if you prefer. Many homeless people around the area outside. You can pay like $15 extra per night to have a view of the water, but I am adding a photo here of my not upgraded room to show you can still see it, it'd only be like 30 feet closer to the water if you upgrade. Food was great and service at breakfast was friendly and courteous! Elevators were operational. The rooftop pool...wish it had a more kid friendly shallow end, but the most shallow area was 3 or 4 feet. The rooftop hot tub was not working when we were there. The gym is a strength of this hotel: clean, workout towels (both dry and wet & cold in a refrigerator) separate men and women bathrooms although the showers were out of order in both, an unnecessary vending machine, and lastly a good variety of equipment including medicine balls, weighted sticks, inflated exercise balls, and cardio equipment with a spectacular view of the city. Someone brought a dog that incessantly barked and after 15 minutes I called the front desk to ask them to inquire and they sent someone within 5 minutes of that; the dog wasn't a problem the rest of my trip.

Haven't had a bad experience here. We stay here often while visiting family or on the way to vacations. Decent location (great for concerts, not as much if yo want a lot of restaurant options), plenty of amenities in the hotel. Haven't used the gym or pool, but both looked very nice when I peeked in. Rooms are very spacious, great views. Employees were VERY helpful anytime I needed help!

The place smelled great. I know that's weird but the whole place smelled spectacular! The room was nice but could use some updating; for example, the trim wasn't very well done and the tub was a death trap waiting to happen. The view was really nice. They do overcharge for most amenities like breakfast and the valet. All in all, I will stay here again.

My husband command Christmas party was held here this year. It was so nice and the hotel is beautiful. The setup was amazing, the food was kind of bland for how much it cost, but we had a great time with friends. I'm not sure what the rooms look like because we went home instead. If i had to I would book a room there.

Remember to use when booking any stay. They compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't regret it. We had a small snafu upon arrival. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. However, Jackie addressed the issue and she and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The view from our room overlooking the water was AMAZING. Parking is a little pricey but the location is walking distance from everything you need.

What can I say. It's the Hyatt Regency so I don't expect anything less than perfection. Stayed over night due to an early flight the next day. Had dinner at the Morton's Restaurant and it was unbelievable! Ribeye, scalloped potatoes and mushrooms and onions!! The room was clean with a perfect view of the St. John's Bay.
