Booked a room here for a client. The awoke to a roach in the middle of the night and another in the morning. The cleanliness leaves more to be desired. I won't be booking any other clients there.

Very nice suite. It's so cute and comfortable. It has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, stove, and dishwasher... Everything we could have needed for the time we were there. The location is perfect for everything around them. They have a cute little pond with a gazebo in the back. The front desk was so very helpful and kind. However, during our stay, we had someone above us who had children and they were just atrocious with the running, jumping, banging, and stomping. It was so bad it woke us up from our sleep... We thought someone was knocking on our door. We let it go on until we couldn't take it anymore and we spoke with the two front desk ladies. They said they were going to handle it and they did. Thankful for that and them. Overall, it's a very great suite. We will definitely be back.

If you stay here you will have a health risk. I knew the hotel had a musty smell but after 3 days I notice my throat was sore and itchy, as well as my eyes. I thought it was allergies due to me being new to Florida, But after a few weeks later I started to have bad migraines and pressure in my chest. I felt as if I couldn't breathe or low oxygen and I just was not clear headed. I was talking with a coworker about what was going on because we had the same symptoms and looked into it to find out these were all symptoms of mold exposure so I started to look around the room and found that there was mold in the room I told the GM of the hotel about these and he told me "he did not have mold in his rooms then tried to blame me for the mold that was there saying I must have had the window open and that's why the mold was in my room." First of all, it's been like 100 degrees outside. Why would I keep my hotel window open? Second of all, even if I did open my window, the amount of mold that was found could not have grown that fast. But of course his next excuse was I had the A/C too low and covered my vents but still it would not grow that fast. But besides that, I never put the ac lower than 74 deg. but every time I came in after my room was cleaned (every Monday) my ac was always set to 72 or lower. either way when I first talked to a guy at the front desk about the mold he was like yea I just got here and was told about the mold but yet the GM told me he does not have mold and did not know his new employee already admitted to knowing the hotel had mold.

Very happy with our stay! Kitchenette was lovely, full sized fridge and all the extras including plates etc. Nice large desk, comfy reclining chair next to the bed, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The key card reader was a little finicky to get into the room. There were two really lovely gazebos out back, both of which featured a grill along with seating. Security patrolled outside overnight, so we felt very safe and weren't concerned about our vehicle. Location was great, easy on/off the highway and a few places to order delivery from.

This is simply the best place I have stayed ever. I would live here if I could. Excellent rooms, nice staff, gym, tidy laundry room, and an honor-system-based quick grocery store. Really felt I could relax. Clean all over and top quality.

The customer service was great, but the rooms were pretty bad. There was a mildew smell and the room does not look anything like what is advertised in the photos. I have 2 bug bites on my back after sleeping here. They do not clean the rooms or replenish towels daily. I had to bring down my dirty towels to get a new set.

This is a great hotel. It was super clean. They even cleaned and wrapped your TV controller. They were friendly also. Checkout at noon made it great. The view was spectacular also. Full kitchen and very contemporary. Beautiful room. Only negative was I couldn't find the hair dryer and cleaning staff was noisy early day. But other than that it was 5 star at a budget price. We will go again.

Love staying here whenever we come to Jax! This location has changed brands over the years and is a little dated now, however the location is perfect! Within 10-15 minutes of lots of attractions, restaurants, and things to do. Dave and Busters is less than a 10 minute walk! Staff are always friendly and helpful.

They cancelled my reservation but they were advised of my late arrival. I was able to get a room but got charged more than the initial price, even though it wasn’t my fault. The assistant manager fixed after going to the front desk 2 times. My room was advertised as a queen, it was a full at best. The furniture is out dated. Still waiting to hear from the manager.

1st room, which was the 1 bedroom, was bad. It had an odor, the toilet kept overflowing, and i kept smelling pee. We decided to stay an extra day but missed the deadline and had to rebook. They only had a studio left, and it was much nicer than the 1 bedroom. Wish we would have booked this one first. Oh, and check your dishes when u get there before you start to cook. One room didn't have a knife. The other didn't have bowls. Service is actually pretty good here, which makes this place better than your average 2-3 star hotel. The rooms look just like the pictures, too.

I've stayed here for a couple of extended stays. Rooms and common areas are always clean. Rooms have kitchenettes and full size fridges which is awesome; everything worked well. Free laundry, little gym area, often a selection of food/snacks/beverages/travel size toiletries. Staff are all friendly and helpful, and do a good job of keeping everything clean. A lot of long term stay guests. Couple different outdoor areas with grills, there is a little pond in the back. The area is kinda walkable but not a ton of stuff in the immediate area. No pool or anything but the beach is close. Great location, easy to get all around Jax and surrounding areas, right off 95 and 202. Usually a pretty quiet area as well. I don't really have any complaints!

Very clean! Everyone here was very professional and kind, made staying here extremely easy and relaxing. They have a free laundry room / gym, and a small convenient store space. The room with a kitchen is stocked with plates and bowls, silverware and any essentials you may need. You walk into the building and it reminds you of staying in a hotel with your grandmother, and as a 24 year old I LOVED this. It was extremely quiet, the doors and walls are so thick which I loved. The couch has a pull out bed which is also so convenient! You’re 10 minutes away from any major stores or businesses which is perfect. I would love to come back again.

We we're just checking out the place for a future stay for our in-laws and we met Alex I believe he's the night manager there and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the whole entire hotel and showed us the room took his time with us even though they were very busy. Defiintly, highly recommend!

Suite had a kitchen, but microwave did not work. The one appliance that I would have used. I reported it and was directed to a community microwave down the hall. Appreciated CoVid measures in the room. Phones and remotes wrapped, antibacterial wipes provided, etc. Room was quiet. Pillows were great. Staff was friendly. Easy access to I-295.

Rooms were laid out and designed nice. The room just had an old smell. Old carpet or something. I checked out the next day.

Imagine being awoken out your ur sleep @ 4am by the security knocking on the door to inform you that if you don't stop walking around that your stay will be terminated. Because the guest downstairs is complaining on you guys. And we were sleep. No one was walking around. The towels had hair in them. the tub had visual hair and dirt, lucky I brought cleaning supplies and disinfectant. None of the photos they have advertised on the website looked anything

Stayed here from Sept 10, 2023 to Sept 16, 2023. Rooms are quite. They do not clean the rooms daily or even once in 2 or 3 days. Even if the guests stay for 10 days, their policy is to clean once every SEVEN days!!!. They do not mention this at the time of booking. We were shocked to hear at the time of check in. Even to change the towels on daily basis, they have objections. After we insisted, very reluctantly, they agreed to change on daily basis. Staff are not bad. But not very helpful. There are no restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance. Need to drive at least 3 or 4 miles for a cup of coffee. The condiments they provide is useless for early morning coffee. Most of the people staying buy groceries and cook inside (as this is a suit hotel). Perhaps they are happy with once every seven days cleaning!!! This is not a hotel for business travelers or family travelers for pleasure. Won;t recommend, won't go back.

Nice rooms, very clean and smells great! Average cost. They have a very nice out door lounge area with comfortable couches, shade if it was hot and grills for guests to use!

Microwave was extremely nasty, I ate my food cold. The shower stopper(drained) was broken and came completely out. The beds are hard … Lordy if I wasn’t 1am I would go somewhere else but I’m exhausted !!! So this will have to do Location was fine , area well lit, front desk rep was cool … room sucked but I’m not living here so whatever .

Red flag alert for room 101. Property smells good at the entrance and the hallway leading up to the room. Imagine entering your week long home away from home and smelling nothing but urine. The shower curtains and microwave definitely were not cleaned prior to arrival. A green substance that appeared to be boogers had to be wiped off the curtains myself. The stove top didn’t work but not a big issue as the smell that was endured at the entrance point to both the lounge in the room and the room it self. Other than these issues the room was okay. Please clean your carpets if animals are allowed to stay at the property.

This used to be a very clean, comfortable, bug free hotel. There are roaches in the hallway and the room we checked into. Very disgusting and should be taken care of.

This is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms are extremely clean and neat. In the dishwasher it comes with silverware and dishware. Also with a microwave, two burners, great desk area. I've stayed here multiple times, the staff are very helpful with any questions I may have and there is plenty of parking. Though my only complaints is when I insert my room key I have to do it a couple of times in order for the room to unlock which is annoying. And the wifi is supposed to be premium when signed up but It keeps losing the connection all throughout the day which is also annoying. Other than that this is a great hotel to stay at for the holidays or business, I highly recommend.

I have no idea where to start,I thought this place was safe because of reviews and chose it being close to my conference. The first night I checked in you could tell they simply changed the sheets if that.As I usually do I wiped down and disinfected everything. At 3:30am I was woken up by the smoke detector.I called down to the desk, a manager called me back and said he was coming up.He apologized went to the detector and ripped it from the ceiling. He said someone would be up before I checked out. When he took it from the ceiling all of the dirt and dust fell on to the bed.I took those sheets off and used my own by this time I’m too upset to get back to sleep.Around 9am, House keeping knocks and I declined service because I was just settling down.I layed across the bed in my towel. At 11am my door flings open and a man yells maintenance!.I jumped up and slammed the door shut.I got dressed and said you are supposed to knock before entering. He came in and replaced the detector dropping more dirt, dust and debris on to the bed. When he was done I went down to the desk to speak with management. When I left out the room the housekeeper said she told him I was in the room. The desk agents seemed sympathetic and shocked but these matters don’t fall on them. The accounting manager called me to tell me the policy and say they would talk to the staff.I spoke with the front desk again abs they said the new GM starts tomorrow she would be able to help you. This was in November.I still haven’t received any contact from the GM and have not received my deposit back from the nights I had to stay there. It’s disheartening knowing this will probably be swept under the rug when women who travel solo for whatever purpose are targeted daily. Choose your safety because they will not!

Rooms were not as pictured. Much more dilapidated. Hallways and rooms stank of food, smoke, and weed. Saw black spots in the shower of the 3rd room we were being shown. The first was already occupied, second absolutely reeked of 🚬 smoke.

I reserved a handicap accessible room because I can't stand long enough to take a shower. The hotel called several days after I booked the reservation to tell me the room may not be available. They also charged me a $25 pet fee the day after I left even though I didn't have a pet.

5 stars just for service on the phone! Spoke to Alex and reservations and both very friendly and helpful. I stayed with Sonesta in California and they were great. I can’t wait to go and stay! I can see why it is rated higher than most hotels in the area.

Room was very clean. Initially thought the heating/ac unit didn't work but learned that it's instead controlled by a thermostat on the wall near the bathroom. The room and bathroom were very spacious. I got a great price on the room. I didn't use any kitchen items but was available if I needed. The only negative was caused by other guests (not the hotel employees). My room was directly across from laundry room and gym. Two mornings I heard the loud TV from gym and someone's items clunking in laundry dryer. The door was propped open with a gym weight. This was even though there was a sign hanging up that said door must be closed at all times. I solved it the second morning by removing the weight and closing the door. I might be wrong but I don't think there was an ice maker or bucket. It's possible that you'll need to rely on the ice made by the freezer/fridge in the room.

After being charged for the room I was told we did not have a room. Because their reservation system kept crashing and I was charged twice. I was thankful because the place did not look clean. A extremely rude lady was at the front desk. They have been trying to get me to give them some of my companies business I will not be doing business with them again.

Very quiet. Rooms are dated, but clean up nicely. It has everything you will need, including a hair dryer and iron. They have a small exercise room and laundromat on site. The staff was nice, check-in was easy, and they are pet friendly!! We recommend and will stay again!!

Great room. Really comfortable, not luxurious but clean and quiet. I would stay here again. GREAT view of the lake and wild life. I even had a recliner in my room. Shower worked great too.

Alex at the front was awesome. This is are 2nd stay with them. This is our go to hotel when my mom has to attend any procedures at the Mayo Clinic. Anything we needed they did their best to satisfy us. I gave the room this time a 4 only because the desk chair was broke and kinda fell out of it! As soon as I told Alex he was on the ball with getting a new one. Otherwise the bed is comfortable, blankets are soft, pillow is soft and fluffy, very clean, friendly, you name it it was great!!

We needed to move away from our oceanfront condo before hurricane Nicole made landfall. Being we were not expecting to have this extra expense on our vacation, we wanted to find something nice, yet affordable, and found Sonesta Simply Suites. After making the reservation online I called to see if we could check in early. The woman who answered the phone was very kind and told us we could come at anytime! This was a very much appreciated! The location was close to shopping and restaurants. There was plenty of space in our suite. The shower had extraordinary water pressure, which felt nice after a stressful morning. It was a comfortable place to end our vacation and was only a 25 minute drive to the airport.

Location is halfway between downtown Jacksonville and Jax beaches. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Price was great $108. Not many food options close by except for Dave & Buster's. Rooms are very spacious and relatively clean, they have a full size refrigerator tons of storage and a sink. My tv remote was wrapped in plastic showing that it was sanitized, however when I opened it up and cleaned it like I normally do, I realized that the remote was missing one battery. So how did the person that "sanitized" it not realize it was missing a battery?

Suprised this shows as a 2-star review. Stayed for just one night before a flight back home but found this place to have more comfort than the well known chains. Love that when you walk in there is an air mister with a noticeably pleasant smell. They gym and laundry area are nice. The outside of the hotel appears to be well maintained while the hallways seem to have a dated carpet but the room was nicely maintained. Not sure if it was the booking but was suprised to see a single queen sized bed. They did have a chair similar to one in a hospital that turns into a place you can sleep. Bumped into a male housekeeper as we were getting ready to leave and he couldn't have been anymore pleasant! Overall a great first impression of this hotel chain. Will look to book with them in the future.

Very nice...courteous staff. Loved having a place to cook food instead of having to go out for every meal. Got a few items at the grocery store and was able to fix meals. Also the Laundry was a nice change. Free washers....Free dryers...Nice!!!!!

I stayed here for five months for a travel job. They rooms are cleaned once per week, There is a kitchenette and covered seating out doors. A big plus for me was the on-site free laundry. You will need laundry soap however. The hotel is located at route 202 and I-95. It is ten minutes from St.John's Town Center for convinient shopping. I could write and pick the place apart but for a travel hotel I basically had everything I needed.
