Awful. Fire alarms went off every 2 hours from 9 pm-8 am for 2 nights in a row. The hotel did nothing to remedy the fire alarm system and left all the guests to be woken up every 2 hours. We left after 2 nights of no sleep at 12 am one night and the desk did nothing to help us. We tried cancelling the rest of our stay but because we booked with a 3rd party, they had to get in touch with the hotel first. The front desk will not answer if you try to get a refund or cancel your remaining reservation. It seems that if you have an issue with your room, you are on your own to deal with it. Besides the fire alarm, everything seemed very sketchy. The front lobby is deceiving and looks nice. As soon as you go further in the hotel, it is very run down and has an odor. My room had tattered furniture and the AC unit had not been cleaned in years. It was definitely not like a Wyndham and there is something nefarious going on. Do not stay here. It is not worth the risk at all.

Horrible. The chairs were disgusting and falling apart so there was nowhere to sit. Cigarette butts in the corner. Hair in the drawer. Front desk does not care. We asked for a credit and they said they would make a note to management. Right. Coffee maker broken and no coffee in the lobby. Restaurant is closed and pool was closed also. Plenty of other dumps to choose from.

Looks good from the outside...that's about it. Carpets were stained and littered with crumbs and looked like they haven't been cleaned in a WHILE. Metal was sticking out on the side of the bed (wrong mattress size I guess) and I'm sure if you stepped the wrong way, you could clip your foot or ankle on the side of this thing and really hurt yourself. Closet was not tidy and looked used from the last guest (i.e, iron cord was not rolled up, iron board was unfolded, and hangers were on the floor and broken), the floor of the closet also looked like it had not been swept or mopped in a LONG time. There was standing water in the mini fridge and the mini freezer was frozen over and not cleaned at all. The drawers to put clothes in were dirty, and the chair of the room was disgusting. The chair was chipping away, and they tried to cover it up with a blanket (that looked unclean as well). Carpets in the room were filthy and not vacuumed or clean, I was afraid to get in the bed. We actually left and found another hotel to stay at for the 2 nights we were in Jacksonville. They would not refund our money or apologize for the state of the room. Will NOT be staying here ever again, but I really hope someone can come in and fix this place, because it needs it BAD. The was an absolute horrible experience!!!! We booked a double queen bed!! Once we got to the room there was two twin size beds there not queens. They are way too pricey for the condition of this hotel!!! When you first walk into the building it seems to be a very nice and luxurious hotel, but thatโ€™s only the lobby that clean once you go up the elevator thatโ€™s when thing start to get very skeptical. They rooms are filthy and smells of mold and mildew you can see the mildew a mold sitting in the seal of the windows. The furniture is very old an has multiple stains and rips and tears in them. The beds have stains on them. We the carpet from the rooms to the hallways are filthy!!!! A once you try to do a cancellation for the room the lady at the front desk acts as if she canโ€™t do it or have no knowledge on how to do it. I asked to speak to a manager and thatโ€™s when she became rude an saying the manager isnโ€™t there an she canโ€™t call he or she. We checked out the hotel not even 5 minutes after we checked in!!!!! The lady refuses to give my hard earned money back a she keeps saying we will call you back and never calls backs about the refund. I will never book this hotel again in my life!!! The photos the show on the advertisement are nothing like the pictures Iโ€™ve posted here and I still have yet to speak to the manager about my refund. I will be stopping by there today before I leave to go back home too Georgia!!!!!!!

I just want to say how disappointed I was staying there. First off the room I booked was not available. Should of offered a discount with that. The bathroom toilet leaked all over the floor. The shower head was absolutely disgusting, plus no water pressure at all. The walls were stained of dirt. This was definitely not worth the amount paid. This place should be shut down!!

I am very upset with this hotel for the simple fact I booked it because of the tub supposed to be a spa. The freaking jets weren't working and went I went to the help desk about it, they just kind of blew it off. "They're out in the whole hotel. Somebody will be out tomorrow to fix it. Yall can enjoy it tomorrow." No apology or anything. Like what if I said I wanted my money back. So alp in all, horrible experience. Ramada to me is a lower end hotel at it was a way better experience. I will not be going back to this one.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! Let me save you the disappointment of staying here and your money for that matter. Letโ€™s begin with false advertising!!! No breakfast but it was advertised as free breakfast!!! TV not working with remote. Water pressure in the sink was so low that it takes forever to wash your hands! Blinds are missing on the window so you have to sleep all night with lights beaming on your face and no privacy what so ever! The air conditioner was impossible to operate!!!! If itโ€™s on, then you will freeze and if itโ€™s off then you will sweats all night!!!! Thereโ€™s is no middle temperature!!! The worst of all!!! THE ELEVATOR!!!! One elevator has No button for 1st floor!!! IT WAS MISSING!!! Why not put an OUT OF ORDER sign and have it fixed!!! It was ridiculous how much problems this hotel has!!! No wonder only 3 cars are parked all night!!!!

My stay was not enjoyable starting with the very rude front desk person who kept arguing and only identified himself as "Enjoy Your Stay" when I asked for his name. There is no soap provided, had to use the one small tube of shower gel in the room (I was given a small tube of shampoo when I asked for soap at the front desk). The furniture in the room is worn and torn. The bathroom needs fixing. The only highlight was the comfy bed, which is pretty much what you're paying for. I did wake up with a very stuffy nose and bad allergies, though, and upon investigating in the morning, found a few moldy areas.

The parking lot is always empty for a reason. Don't book a room here. I booked because they advertised jetted spas. When I got there they had a sign up charging $35 for the use of the spa. I wanted to cancel so they told me I had to cancel through Priceline. I tried, but the hotel refused to cancel. The staff is rude, they will not tell you there names. This is suppose to be a Christian Hotel, but they are nothing more than crooks.

I wonder if they think COVID and flu season is over (never will be)as no soap in the bathroom to wash hands to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses. Makes you wonder about the overall cleanliness of the room. Mattresses so old you sink into them as they fold around you. Other furniture needs to be replaced too. At least free parking which earns them the one star.

The front desk staff was kind and considerate. The manager was unhelpful. We stayed in two rooms; one room had plaster all over the floor from the ceiling falling apart. Carpet smelled musty and was damp from water damage. Puddles in different corners of the bathroom. The other room had a very sulfury/swampy smelling washroom. The tap water tasted really sulfury. Overall, kind staff and service, but the rooms were not enjoyable.

Everything seemed fine on the surface but it wasn't until I got to the room that I found out how true "looks can be deceiving" truly was. No breakfast, saw only 1 maid from the looks of things at checkout. This place is ripping people off. *GUEST BEWARE* They say when you check in they're going to charge a $50 "security deposit fee" but only on your card which you will never get back. Its fishy they charge it from your card when every place I've stayed asks for a cash security deposit and I always get that back. Its a way to tip themselves from what it seems here. They say it'll be given back in 3 to 5 business days that is an absolute lie. If you booked for the what seems like jetted pools that is also a lie, it says at the front desk they'll "upgrade" your room so you can have the jet bathtub for a $35 fee ๐Ÿค”. I didn't even waste my money on that "service" either. Everything about this hotel is a lie online. Stayed on 2/4/2023 and I will never be back.

Donโ€™t go. The floor would have been more comfortable then the bed. They charge $35 to use the tub thatโ€™s already in your room. Not clean at all. The elevators are questionable at best. Definitely donโ€™t use the one on the left. (Also no certificates) also thereโ€™s no coffee or breakfast. They have a sign saying $7.99 for breakfast but it doesnโ€™t exist. This is not a three star hotel at all.

The was my anniversary weekend and I was highly disappointed. the beds and jacuzzi tub was small. Front desk donโ€™t answer phone when you call. The furniture in the room was worn they tried to cover it with a chair cover. The pool area was horrible the chairs had big holes in them and the patio set was not kept up. I was hoping to give this hotel a corner of a star but that option was not available. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL SAVE YOUR MONEY ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

Trash and used forks and napkins behind TV which sat on a dresser that was falling appart..Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, TV didn't work they had to come fix it that's when we found all the trash and the lady that came just left the trash for us to clean up. Phone didn't work. Elevator didn't work. I called the day before to make sure pool and hot tub was working as that's all we wanted was to lay by pool. I was told of course it's working fine. We go get ready to go to pool then they tell us it's down for maintenance ruined whole point of stay. They never told us at check in it was not in use or i would have never stayed. There was never anyone at front desk during our whole stay. And they never gave us a working phone she told me I would have to call hotel long distance if I needed anything..just overall horrible stay. Don't judge it by the outside because it's a beautiful hotel just the kworst stay I ve ever had at a hotel..told I would get my security deposit back after room was checked still nothing. I've left 4 messages for manager and.no call back

Horrid. Do not book. Your life depends on it. Bed bugs, mold, pealing furniture, mildew, smoke smell and that is just to start. Literally everything that was advertised was false. Breakfast nope. 24 hr checkin nope, hot tub that is hot. Nope. Employees were rude, could not care less, and do not have the power to do anything. , asked to leave after first night, was told no refunds. I have called the health department to shut this place down. From the outside it looks fine. But the inside is just nasty.

We were in the area taking care of some business. Every hotel we drove to, to get a room was booked. So we called, we were told they had rooms with two full size beds, so we drove to the hotel. We walk in and the front clerk agent told us the rooms were all booked. We returned to our car and I had my hubby call the hotel again. The clerk answered the call and again informed us that he indeed had rooms open and available. The only thing we could figure is that he did not want to rent to people of color. This was sad and disturbing. Will not stay here or recommend anyone to stay here especially people of color.

Extra $35 for jets in the tub, it's just water pressure, geeez. The TV didn't work, we even switched rooms because TV is important and in the 2nd room, that TV didn't work either. We were able to see they have DirectTV but no sound and no picture appeared. The receptionist was nice and came up to our room to help with the TV, BUT would not give us her name. She said it was for safety reasons. I've never heard of that, at any job from server, cashier to customer service, nurse, police officer...they always give their name. No breakfast available as listed by 7am. We stayed here 7 years ago and the it definitely has the same furniture, walls need painting and furniture needs to be replaced. They used chair covers to cover up wear and tear, definitely my first time seeing that in a hotel. Never will stay here again. Paid full price and got half the experience.

First off, let me say we had stayed at this hotel, almost every time that we have come down to Jacksonville to visit. We decided to take our son to the airshow on October 21st 2023 we then went to our hotel, and weโ€™re trying to check in the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and made it a very difficult process to check in. Our luggage cart had a flat tire, which made it very difficult to bring our belongings to the room. We got into the room and the chairs were disgusting. The bathroom had no water pressure and no hot water the toilet will not flush. At this point, I went back down to front desk and ask her to change our rooms, which she did. We then moved a couple doors down, and the carpet looked like it had been cut and put back down. The curtains were very difficult to mess with, and the bathroom had the same problems that are previous room had. We decided to cancel our reservation and go to a different hotel. We were told we were going to get a refund and waited the five days. We contacted them this morning October 30, 2023 and management tried to tell us that we never had a reservation there. The woman on the phone was extremely rude, and they finally found a reservation and said that they would give the information to management and would get back to us. This is the third time that weโ€™ve been told that our information would be given to management. Do not stay here! I will be in contact with the Better Business Bureau as well. Whoever does inspections for this hotel needs to shut it down!

Upon check in, the clerk noticed that I had a service dog and she said. Oh I can't give you the room. You were booked for because of the dog. So then it took another 1015 minutes to give us a different room. Which I believe. They gave us the worst room in the hotel. I hope so because if there's rooms worse than the one we were in. I'm sorry we checked in nature. The air conditioner was on when and did some family activities. When we came back to the room, the whole floor was soaking wet. Note the video and pictures that we took. The bathroom and the bathroom floor where absolutely disgusting. The bathroom floor was so sticky. You're shoes stuck to it. I didn't feel comfortable enough taking my shoes off in this filthy disgusting room. We called the front desk. They told us that they were completely full. I'm they had no other rooms if we didn't like the room that we could leave. So we checked out I left 3 messages for the general manager to call me back. According to the person I spoke to today the general manager said she doesn't need to call me back so upset and angry customers is not the general managers prior. Just awful I should say lack of if I could give them minus stars I would do that.

Not recommended. We paid for 2 rooms. Both had a/c issues. One room leaked all over floor and was completely wet and the other didn't really work. Beds were really uncomfortable. Both rooms smelled like mold. The whole hotel has a musty odor. Didn't even want to walk on the carpet it felt so nasty. Can't believe this is a Wyndham hotel and rated as a 3 star hotel. I usually don't review on here...but it was so bad I wouldn't want another family to make the same mistake. We could only take 1 night and decided to leave early and drive through the night versus staying another night here. Hate to be so negative...but just keeping it real.

I have never written a hotel review but this one needed to be done. Don't stay in room 330. To start the ac and bathroom vents look like they have never cleaned them well. The AC didn't work correctly, I had to set it to 62 for it to cool at all. The side chair and the desk chair fabric has just about completely come off. I don't think they know they can be reupholstered cheap. I had to put a towel on the chair. The WIFI was super slow and disconnected constantly, I couldn't even stream. If you wanted faster speed you had to pay extra. The bathroom had no soap or shampoo, I had to go down and ask for the dollar store bottles. The jacuzzi was an additional 30 dollars a day. The restaurant doesn't even open. They hallway to the room had way too much air freshener. It was making me sick. The hotel was nice at some point but something has gone wrong.

Had to find a place to stay due to some personal life inconveniences & we booked a night there. Ended up booking a week there. Stay was excellent, staff was wonderful, housekeeping was good. Price was decent for the hotel in & of itself. Definitely planning on staying there again. Would recommend.

The WiFi signal was weak to the point where at times it was nonexistent from my room on the 3rd floor. If you could connect to it you could barely load a web page much less stream. There is no Ethernet cable option neither to plug into a laptop or a travel router. As far as the Basics this place has you covered. My room was clean and spacious and I had the needed toiletries. They have a nice pool available but no food services, the restaurant area was still closed. It's in a good location close to two shopping plazas.

We arrived at the hotel I had a reservation when I approach the front desk the person only asks my name and tells me that there is no reservation without having seen the email I did not want to see the email a tall lady who has no education, does not know what it is to deal customer service, had a very bad attitude towards a group and we were 11 people. In the rooms there was no soap, shampoo and conditioner, something that should never be missing in hotels.horrible service

There was a fatal accident on the highway and I was going to get in after midnight. On the hotel website they say that their reception desk is open up 24 hours. I call them to let them know I would be late and they told me to bad. They left at 12. My kids and I had to sleep in our car. I tried to call them after 9am the next morning and still no one was there. Cheap motels are better than this dump

We booked later than normal on Saturday of Georgia-Florida game. We arrived around 1230 am to check in but were told we had to be there before that time to get keys. The security guard was sitting in the room with door locked and was talking through the door, no one else ever appeared. We had to make other arrangements with another hotel that night, and lost out on the $250 because Marble wouldnโ€™t refund our money. Iโ€™ll never step foot on one of their properties again.., disgusting to say the least!

Everything was fine as expected from an economical hotel. until checkout. The front desk lady gave me a rash for leaving my key in my room and not putting it in the lobby box.... and kept bringing it up.... and up. Sad she made it all bad in 1 minute....

Not happy at all with my experience. Checked in early at the front desk then left the hotel to play in a pool tournament. Needless to say I did not get back till 1:30 am. My key decided not to work. They only have security. No staff. I ended up having to stay with a friend who was gracious enough to take my call at 2:00am. Not the way to run a hotel....... 3/13 Update: neither hotel or Priceline would reimburse my "stay" filed this with credit card company.

The location was close to other beaches by about 10-20 mins. The hotel looked like it used to be nice awhile ago but is not very run down and outdated. The walls are painted a puke yellow color and there decorations are drab. The room was very dark with cheap drapes and a torn chair. I would not stay here again as it was not pleasing to the eye and was very run down.

Got to room. Overpowered by air freshener scents. Once in the room the furniture was worn, leather peeling from both chairs. Shade broken so called desk and he promptly came up and just rolled it in down position and that was it. Sheets were clean and bathroom was clean but Iโ€™ll never stay there again. Left lights on all night. Place made me nervous. It seemed like the hotel was empty except for two sketchy guys that checked in and one lone girl with a backpack. I left at 5 am and when I got in lobby two public safety officers were in lobby. Not sure if they were there all night but I was glad they were there so I could get to my car safely. Booked the room on Priceline and will never do that again either. The only reason I did it this time was because my usual hotel in that area was booked solid for Players. Never againโ€ฆ.

Something is going on at this property poorly staffed and poorly operated. But I checked into this property on February 27th of 2023 I thought I had booked through this properties website. Instead I had booked through Priceline. When I arrived at the property around 3 p.m. the hotel only had a few cars. I signed in and went to my room. It was trashed. AC off and balcony door open. No maid service and look like a wild party had taken place. Smelled heavily of smoke. Property had look nice online but I found photos deceiving. Front desk staff who had been the same woman working every time I called on multiple shifts over the previous days said she could do nothing because I had booked through a third party. Priceline offered to refund me but they need to call the hotel to confirm I had not stayed. They tried multiple times but the woman at the front desk refused to pick up to verify. The only way I got my money back was by disputing the charges with my credit card company. I would strongly suggest no one ever stay at this property.

I've lived in my house near Marble Waters for 10 years. During that time, this has been my "go to" hotel for out of town family when our house is too full for everyone (i.e. holidays, birthdays, etc.). It USED to be a decent hotel with a decent breakfast. They've completely givn up, however. My parents stayed there in March 2023 and said all the furniture in the room was faded and worn out/frayed. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower not very good. Breakfast had disappeared completely. The pool and the hot tub were literally green. I reached out to management but they never got back to me so I guess they don't care about reputation or customer satisfaction. Not a surprise since it's owned by the church next door and is pretty much a money laundering tool for them (it was built to house the clergy). For the money, put your guests up at one of the beach hotels. It's only a five minute drive and you will get better rooms.

We stayed here when the landscaping was like is shown in the description photos. The palm trees , the ones that aren't dead anyway are now 25 ft tall, there a bleach spots all over the hallway carpeting.(I suppose at least you know it gets cleaned.?) the pleather finish on all of the furniture in the room is peeling off, the carpet is buckled so watch your step when shuffling to the bathroom in the "dark". I say "dark" the amount of light pouring in from the loose blinds and the gap under the hallway door make it very easy to see you way at night. The noise from the drag strip out side our window is horrible as is the high pitch tinnitus type ring the comes from the refrigerator. The air-condition will not turn on automatically so I have to make the room an icebox the wake up sweating to turn it back on. That I am writing this review while sitting in the room at 5:00 am should say enough. The staff are nice enough but when asked for a different room we were told they are booked yet the parking lot remains 3/4 empty. My only guess, judging from the pics another guest shared is that all of the rooms are the same or worse condition. UGH!!! is the word that best describes my quality of sleep and lucky me, I get to stay another night because we can't get a refund due to second party booking. Do not believe the star rating of this horribly run down hotel. Keep looking for a decent hotel and do not book here. It should be no more than a 75.00 a night rate...

What a horrible room! Beautiful exterior and lobby but the lock on the door is broken there is no smoke detector just a hole where one should be. Head boards are busted and both chairs in the room are peeling and torn up. Stains and trash on the carpet. There is lime and scaly buildup on the shower head. Livable for a place to crash tonight but far from acceptable for the weekend stay I had planned.

The location of the hotel is the only thing I liked. And only because it's close to my husband's family's house whom we are visiting from out of state. there is ZERO consistency. And maybe 5 guests have been here in the WEEK that we stayed which speaks volumes. The website says breakfast, there MIGHT be coffee but not til 9-10 am, and that's not even guaranteed. The front desk staff is also hit or miss. But the woman who is here this morning THURSDAY THE 28TH OF DECEMBER is extremely rude, didn't even bother doing the "housekeeping" which is them calling your room personally and asking WHAT DO YOU NEED. THERE IS NO HOUSEKEEPING. it's a shame because this hotel has potential but the staff clearly doesnt care

Room: clean but the furniture is very old or worn out. There was old stains on my bedsheets. Didnโ€™t bother calling the front desk because they donโ€™t usually pick up the phone so i just went down to get new sheets. WiFi: weak signal and very slow, it would disconnect often and sometimes disappear for like half a day. Bathroom tub was missing a panel that was just chilling next to it. Not a place i will spend a night again. This kids is why we always look up reviews, hope this helps.

The beds and linen are comfortable: Literally, the only thing this place had going for it. Will absolutely NOT come back. In all my travels, only one other could be ranked this low. I'm convinced this is some sort of money laundering scheme and they don't actually don't want "legit" customers.

  • 1/5 Rafy A. 9 months ago on Google
Pros: Location maybe. I guess that depends on where you need to go from there. Cons: 1. They don't seem to fix anything but just patch or disguise (e.g., bathtub had large tile patches literally missing. 2. Couldn't even get a receipt. Is that even legal? When I asked for a receipt they said I needed to contact my travel agent since i booked through a 3rd party. When I called post-trip, got the same response. I travel for work frequently (made over 200 trips in my career) and have NEVER had an issue getting a receipt. 3. Place is deprecated/deserted. For example the on-site restaurant looks like a ghost town not used in years. 4. Service. When I checked in (1am due to severe flight delays). I was locked out and luckily someone came by. They said they don't do late check-in but would do me a favor. No late check-in?! Business travelers, heck any traveler, know delays can happen in route. To then not have a place to stay??? There's more I can list but you get the gist.

Without a doubt the worst motel I've ever stayed in, I would have honestly been better off sleeping in my car in the parking lot. Days prior to arriving, i called to confirm my reservations and the staff was rude and very short with me as if it were an inconvenience. Upon arrival, my family had two rooms and our room had an odor. It smelled as if that specific room was used by the "pay by the hour" guests. I was told after I made staff aware "oh sorry the a/c is broken and leaking into the floor." We were provided a different room, but the entire motel had a hideous odor. Our chains in the room were worn and tethered. I'm honestly not surprised this facility has not been reported and shut down.

The worst place I have ever stayed and I am 60 years old. Chairs in the room looked like something you would find in a land field. Curtains were damaged. Waited 30 minutes to check in. Gave us a key to a room that had a person sleeping in it. Other guests were not happy. Carpets looked like they were 30 years old. Every luggage cart had a flat tire. The worst place I have ever stayed for sure. Cheap is never good. I got what I paid for.. Never again.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. My wife prepaid for the room and got a confirmation number and statement that the bill was paid in full. When we arrived we were told she had to pay and additional $50 deposit. The desk clerk was shown the prepaid receipt. The room only had one chair and it looked like a dog had chewed the arms up. I told the desk clerk about the chair and she said they were aware of the condition. Since the room was prepaid we didn't carry extra cash, this deposit put us in a financial bind for the day trip to the hospital. While checking out we noticed a sign at the desk that stated a $35 charge for using the jets in the tub. I will be notifying Wyndham. We are waiting to see if MW returns the deposit.

The only thing this hotel has going for it. Is the picture of the front of the hotel is the only accurate thing on the website. I reserved a queen size bed. Its more like a full size bed. The chairs in the room look like they came out of a dumpster. The provide satellite television but you only get half the channels. There is no breakfast provided. Hotel looks great on the outside. But the inside is very outdated. You have to pay a $35 fee to use the jetts in tub. For a room your paying for is RIDICULOUS. DO NOT WASTE YOU'RE TIME OR MONEY. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
