The property was sketchy with weird people wandering around randomly. The room clearly said no smoking and someone had been clearly smoking very recently in the room. The beds were made but didn't smell or seem clean, bathroom was gross and we only had two small towels. The door didn't latch right so it rattled and light was coming in all the way around, also the air conditioner didn't blow at all. I decided to chance it and shower in the morning, no soap or shampoo provided and this is the first motel where my feet got dirtier walking from the bathroom to the bed than when i got in the shower. Overall gross and if I was given the option to stay there for 1/4 of the price again I wouldn't.

Roaches... The only reason I stay here is because pets stay free and I typically enjoy a Motel 6 stay. However our 4 night stay was anything but cozy. We booked a 2 bedroom premium room but arrived to a 1 bedroom with no ventilation in the bathroom, dirty floors, hair in sink, and stains on bed. Mind you I payed extra for the upgrades. The bed wasn't comfortable and gave me a bad back. Plus we first walked in to a roach greeting us. Next day we finally get to our proper rooms and we're ok with it. Beds were better and the location on the bottom floor was ideal. Then came the room key problems (apparently the door needed to be reprogrammed), MORE roaches, and people talking all throughout the night. Didn't realize how paper thin the walls were. I hate giving unfair reviews and the staff tried their best with the keys and switching rooms... But you honestly get what you pay for. It is FL, roaches are a thing but it doesn't have to be THAT bad. Again... Stay if you have pets and you don't mind simplicity. Not saying I wouldn't stay here again but I'll be more stern with what I see and feel next time. Please SPRAY THE ROOMS!!!

I checked into this hotel and the staff was friendly. Got to the room and from first appearance it looks clean. I loaded my stuff into the room and then I saw two roaches run across the floor (the little bad ones not palmetto.) Whatever room looks clean it happens my husband killed them. I pulled off their sheets to put my sheets on (I like bringing my own) and when I dropped the mattress 4 roaches fell out and scattered. At that point I’m disgusted and want to leave after my 5 hour car ride I was exhausted and most hotels were booked but I decided I’d rather sleep in my car. My husband still made excuses until I convinced him the mattress was infested so he picked it up and under the bed on the metal frame there was CLUSTERS of huge adult roaches. I believe they’re called German roaches. The kind you can barely ever get rid of. At that point my husband is also disgusted, and agrees we need to get our stuff out asap and leave. I took a picture and went and showed the front staff and they acted totally shocked and asked what room it was again (Room 108 for anyone curious do not go in there) I would have believed they was genuinely surprised if it wasn’t for the amount of roaches and the sizes of the adults. They had to know long before my complaint. Anyways I wanted a refund and they gave me one in cash instead of back on my card which isn’t a big deal but strange. Anyways after reading recent reviews this seems to be common among this hotel. I hope Motel 6 being a corporate company closes this place and does something about the problem before opening back up. This could ruin people’s livelihoods if they didn’t check and slept in the room and brought those home. It’s so expensive to get rid of them. My stuff was in the room for 10 minutes maybe less and I’m terrified to bring it inside my home. Very rude of staff to not warn customers. Maybe some people are okay with this kind of thing but I am not and cannot afford a roach infestation.

I didn’t like the location, I was held up at gun point during my stay I was robbed of my personal belongings. Also followed to my room with my door kicked in. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here, it’s not safe. Not for me and especially NOT for kids. They wouldn’t wash my sheets or give me new bedding when I had asked for it. I had to take it somewhere just to wash it spending more money on top of my two week duration stay. Then when I went to shower the water would not get hot and there was hardly any water pressure, I brought it up to the staff they said they’d have someone look at it. No one ever came. The owner has yet to help me with my refund, because after the incident I was no longer staying there even after I brought it to there attention. The whole thing has me in a really bad spot right now and I’m having to seek out therapy due to the traumatic incident. Don’t waste your time booking here isn’t worth the hassle and anyone being put into danger.

Treated very well. Ty, our front desk clerk, was absolutely amazing. Very customer service conscious, she made our stay at Motel 6 a first class experience. This motel 6 has always been good to me. Stayed many times over the years. Hardly had any problems. Staff nice and friendly. Some roaches did appear in the room. But overall stay was nice. Very close to (walking distance) a slew of stores and restaurants.

Rooms are supposed to be smoke free but it was not. Someone's leftovers were in the microwave. Most people there were living there which I didn't mind but the neighbors dog would howl when they were not there. Would not recommend this place.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Roaches everywhere dirty towels and they don’t give refunds I’m pretty sure it’s cuz if they did they would go bankrupt. Also when we walked into the room it smelled so bad like chemicals for killing roaches. Felt very unsafe.

No cap buddy charged me 126 for a week day no holiday or nothing 😂🤦🏾‍♂️ Room had bugs in it to. Just for me to look online and it say $65 for a day. Explore all your options lady’s and gentlemen wish I did. That’s it

I'm re-writing my review in the hopes that it'll appear, because I posted it last night and I don't see it. Well the bathroom didn't have guest utilities; shampoo/condition, Kleenex. Not enough towels for two guests. Bathroom shower had dirty stains. Window curtains was very dirty. Must I go on? We were very dissatisfied with experience and we told this to the guy who received us at check-in and check-out.

Hello, My name is Plamen Gardev and I stayed at Motel 6 from December 23, 2023 to December 26, 2023. The reception assigned me to room 123. The first day I arrived at 2:00pm. I had a meeting at 3:00pm. This afternoon there was hot water and I took a shower. and I immediately went out, I went back to the motel around 3:00am I went to bed and the next day I wanted to take a shower but there was no hot water, I looked around the room it was very very dirty, I called the reception and told them that there was no water, in the evening when I came home again there was no hot water the next day there was still no hot water, because I have paid for my stay, I have nowhere to go on Christmas day, I was forced to stay in a dirty room for two days without hot water and with a lot of cockroaches, nice organization of Motel 6 I can't imagine in the 21st century coming to your Motel 6 and experiencing a nightmare Christmas

I did not even stay here. My husband and I left after seeing the room. It smelled strongly of urine. The AC had mildew and visible dirt inside. In the first 5 minutes of being there, someone started walking around the parking lot trying to break into vehicles with handcuffs. He blended in with all the other crack heads walking around everywhere... This is not a good area.

False advertising of prices my reservation said $84 not $100 so why the up charge?!! Management did nothing about it. There was no towels in my room when I got it on Friday. Roaches and stains in the bed musky nasty smell in room. I had to buy a candle for. Roaches in the refrigerator. Would not recommend waisting money here

Ty in the front office is amazing!! She has been so nice, kind and helpful everytime I walk on the office. She's my favorite person in the front office even though everyone has been helpful and accommodating as best they can. Now as for the hotel obviously not a Hilton but it's a place to stay for a decent price while going thru a difficult situation. So not rating it five Star but better than most places.

The (GM)Lanisa is very nice and she made our stay feel comfortable as much as possible.Any questions we had she was able to answer.I highly recommend asking for her if your looking for good services.We definitely feel safe at Motel 6.

Cockroach problem. I know you get what you pay for these days, but I honestly felt like I was in Jail during my stay here. People would be screaming in the parking lot for no reason or at anybody. Drugs being sold out of rooms. People would be outside your door talking loudly and watching videos on there phone. I didn't get one good night's rest, during my stay. TV would cut out sometimes, and the HBO & Showtime channels, you could never watch because they would freeze up.

The staff was awesome. Dionne in the office was excellent at her job and a pleasure. For the price it’s a great place to stay.

They did not allow me to stay even though they confired it and charged my credit card.. They told me it was too cheap.. it's not like I made the price. But Motel 6 did confirme my reservation abs took my money which I don't understand why they did that. Someone did call and say sorry. But I had to sleep on the street that night . Because o they confirmed my reservation abs took my money.. Very disappointed

This property is amazing and has very nice manufacturing inside. Looks really nice and clean inside and out , would definitely recommend getting this property. The best property I seen in Jacksonville FL by far.

Hello there, I've recently had a great and peaceful week here at motel 6 in orange park, good service, nice bed and room and I absolutely love the AC unit, security and patrol for are safety, so far me and my daughter stay here has been wonderful and that is what matters most to me are time are safety and are servos, hopefully the next guest finds it just more comfortable as I do, Thank you. 😊

They have new managers and it shows! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the people working are nice, even if they’re busy. They stop and speak. Came over just in case we lost power and they have been taking good care of us through this storm. Only 2 issues, bugs and only 1 set of towels. Ms. Donna is the Gm and she fixed it. I’ll come back again for sure.

After returning back here to the city and checking in I came back to an even cleaner room that I had before. Mrs. Melissa made sure I had everything that I needed as far as tissue and towels and she made sure that my room was very clean and it smelled great. I will definitely be back here if ever needing a room

Office Staff is very friendly and hospitable as well as housekeepers and property staff. Especially Jamie and mrs candy are great! Rooms very clean and comfortable and all accommodations were met and all needs were met quickly as needed. Will definitely recommend to others and I will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

I come here whenever I come to the city. These new managers do not play and they needed it. Miss Donna and Miss Kandi are cleaning house literally. The environment has improved, the rooms look and smell better, and even the office is more organized and professional when I come to pay.

Decided to stay here for our one night in Jacksonville. Don’t recommend. On arrival, the tv was on in our room like someone had been watching it. The AC was set to 66 when we got there. It felt more like 75. The floor was so sticky you could hear our shoes peeling off it. One bed was missing a comforter and the other was very stained. Smelled like cigarettes and the guy next door was bumping his music so loud we could hear it through the wall over the tv. Not sure if all the rooms were like this but ours had another door connected to the adjoining room that was being locked by only a deadbolt and dresser. Bathroom and shower were wet like it had just been used. To top it off…. A person straight up just barged in the room after we had already gotten checked in. Luckily, we had the top part of the lock closed and the door couldn’t open all the way. Didn’t feel safe after that and switched to a different hotel. Didn’t bother trying to get a refund although, we’re regretting that now. Definitely not worth all these 5 star reviews.

Employees are very accommodating and friendly. My room is very clean and up to date. The pool is beautiful and the location is great. I don’t think there has been a day I haven’t gone shopping, it’s right across the street so how could I not lol

Arrived in town for an interview and this location allowed early check in so with the long travel instead of looking around we went with the first option. Never again!!! The room looks extremely bare… only thin sheets..called to ask the front desk about a comforter and Was told they have them but we had to come downstairs to get them. Also when I asked for a remote for the tv I was told they have them but they didn’t have any batteries. They didn’t even offer to bring any of the items to our room.The bathroom was dirty and the back of the bathroom door looks like there are dirty footprints from a boots on it.The towels also have stains on them as well. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

I loved my stay there. The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff at the front desk were nice from managers to the other employees. I highly recommend staying at this Motel for anyone looking for a great stay.

Ms Candy and Ms Donna helped me so much. I told them my situation and they were understanding and discreet. The room was clean and comfortable. Everybody was so nice and made me feel safe. I’ll always remember that.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 many times over the last 2 years. Everyone who works here is always kind, helpful, and respectful. If you have any issues, they are quick to help solve them. If there are ever any troublesome guests, they are quick to remove them. I will continue to stay here when ever I need a room. Thank you to all the employees at the Orange Park Motel 6.

It's not the best place I have stayed. But the staff was great. Need more focus on cleaning the rooms better. My floor was nasty. Turned my white socks dirty...glad I wasn't bare footed.

The 1st thing I noticed was cockroaches in the shower floor.... the light fixture will not turn on. Icing on the cake is cockroaches crawling across my belongings on the table. Absolutely disgusting !!! Drug deals being done across the entire parking lot. I literally watched 3 seperate drug transactions within 15 minutes of sitting outside smoking a cigarette. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Friendly staff, clean, I forgot about my laundry and the staff put them in the dryer and paid for dry. I really appreciated that because I totally forgot. I also love that pets are accepted without breed restrictions. And the pool is awesome.

Horrible from the time I step to the window every employee with the same hair bonnet on their head. No hot water nor blankets on the bed. Door dose not open properly very unsafe environment. Roaches crawling all over the walls in the beds microwave and refrigerator was unplugged did not work. This Motel 6 it seems like an extended stay for his employees and their family and friends. Definitely not the same as Motel 6 I stayed at three years ago customer service has went down as well as the conditions of the rooms. I will not be back.

The room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke. It was like sleeping with an ashtray in my face. The room did not smell good at all. One bed didn't even have a blanket. Then to make.matters worse, security and another guest were talking very loudly after midnight right outside my room.

***DO NOT BOOK HERE*** If I could rate this no stars I would. I went to check into my room and the attendant wasn’t even there to check me in, Even the security guard didn’t know how long it would be until the attendant would return….we waited and 20 min goes by and I called their number and hit option 2 for reservation and spoke with customer care who also attempted to reach their check in and no one answered. I got transferred to their senior customer care team whom the lady didn’t give not one care and hung up on me when I’m explaining it’s now over 30 min and no one there to check us in. I booked with a 3rd party whom after 40min of me waiting got ahold of the attendant who states she was there the whole time which was a complete lie. Even the when she called me back saying she had a missed call from my number I joined the call and she said she’d stepped out of the office. Over an hour I finally get the 3rd party and motel 6 to agree to refund my money. This place is a joke, customer care is a joke. Don’t book with them!!!!!

Bugs everywhere. Forced into a smoking room, it stinks and it's dirty and has stains all over. Truly scared to be here for fear of bed bugs or worse. Paid 80+ and will end up sleeping in my vehicle. Very disappointed. Management never does an will never do anything in these situations so just leaving a public review is best someone can do or get as a resolution. Ugh very very disappointed.

The front desk staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable and clean, but that's where it ends. The security latch was broken off of the door. There was long black hair on the floor and it looked like it had not been mopped in a while. The vinyl planking in the bathroom was separating and the cracks filled with dirt and mold. The toilet seat was turning yellow and peeling and there was black stuff all around the toilet seat mount. The shower was filthy and the shower curtain had mold all along the bottom of it. The bathroom exhaust vent was caked in dust.

Highly not recommend to stay here. The room was full of bugs, and I'm not talking about a couple... I'm talking of hundreds of them. All over the floor and on top of the beds. We came to the manager for a solution and change us to other room, which by the way, was also infested. We did ask for refund and they did not compromise for it. My suggestion, do not come for any reason to this place.

The managers and employees are very nice. They make you feel nice and in welcome their room rates are great. I will most definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone for your kindness and support in my trying times

To preface this review: this place isn't the Ritz. If you are expecting red carpets and people to rub your feet, don't come. By far this is the best "motel" I've stayed at. The bed is comfy, the a/c runs cold, the shower runs hot, and the staff is like an m&m. Hard shell but if you show them you're a normal, decent person they melt and are the kindest. Lakeshia, the manager, is a sweetheart. She is open and honest about the rules and expectations but will accommodate your needs. Dionne is also extremely kind and personable, offering me kind words and peace of mind during a difficult time. The cleaning staff are all super kind, quick and efficient. Now, here's the facts. Its an older motel in Florida. There ARE bugs. I've only seen two in my stay. No biggie. They allow pets so my cat is happy for the extra snacks. This place is NOT infested. I've lived in apartments worse off. And yeah, they have a curfew because rude people took advantage of the property. Its for safety. You can't hang out your room with the door open and drink a Coors lite and blast AC/DC. TLDR: If you need a place to crash and you aren't prissy, this place is awesome. The staff is 10/10, the rooms are liveable, and it's right across from a huge shopping complex so you can walk to get your snacks.

Checked in on 4/1/23. We stayed long enough to give our infant a bath, we ended up rebathing him at our new hotel. We got into the room, and i quickly bathed my son. While doing so, my boyfriend noticed a bunch of things that just didn't look right. - soap by the door - bathroom flooded ( 10 min shower for a baby, shouldn't have?) - paint i am guessing on the ground? - chips of something in the bed - no toilet paper holder - saw numerous roachs come from under the bed we did NOT stay, we did not sleep, we didn't even lay our infant on the bed, nothing. Since the room was used, the manager was not issuing us a refund, so over $200 was spent for being in that room maybe 10 minutes. i have contacted corporate , and waiting on a reply, but a refund should be provided. we are also from out of state.

No towels, no blankets, just the thinnest sheet that are supposed to be the toppers. Front desk didn't have towels or blankets. Lady said she had to go get them from another room and take them to me, but she never did. Asked if there would be a discount for the inconvenience and they said no! Stay at another motel 6 for an extra $10. This one is the worst one and I've been all over the us staying in motel 6.

I have stayed for years in motel 6. They are not plush, but clean, fuctional, and safe. This place was filthy and dangerous. People screaming at each other and pit bulls everywhere. People hanging out in parking lot. Highly suspicious of working ladies there.

Roach infested they literally crawl on you soon as the lights go out. We didn’t have all bed linen nor any wash rags I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone. They’ll let anyone stay nasty and all

Great location pet friendly very quite clean and friendly staff the GM Lanisa was absolutely Amazing she really worked with me while I stayed on the property. Dionne was very kind and for housekeeping the manager Jamie is so polite always works hard to deliver linen on time and her staff scotiie is the absolute sweetest

This hotel is of course not the Hilton or any high price hotel, but for a cheaper hotel it's absolutely great. The service is great. The people are awesome. And the general manager laKeisha has been accommodating and so very helpful. Thank you for a great experience.
