It's ok. Missing the glory days of the good stores. A lot of double or even triple kisoks around. No bathrooms by the playground area! Come on, kids are also animals-humas that need to go. Peppers hot sauce store is a surprising addition to the stores list. But no more Disney store. Why? Now that I have kids, they decide to shut down. They could have had my money! Lol. Times are changing, I get it. But keep some of the better stores. Parking garage was a mess. Litter everywhere. I get it, people are slobs and don't care for other peoples property, but it's still gotta be cleaned by someone. Food court was busy. Good to see that. Sorry for the bad pictures. These are pics that didn't have my kids on them. I wish people stop shopping at outdoor malls and go back to indoor. I love the fact this is Florida but being inside is also nice especially during the summer.

January 2024 and this Mall continues to thrive. July 4th 2022 weekend and busy as well as crowded. Good sign during these troublesome times. After 10 years little has changed other than stores. Food court is always good and busy. Parking is available so why only 4 🌟 ? Needs a little more excitement. Mall is safer than most and am always comfortable going to it.

Lots of shops. Lots to do. Bathrooms are usually clean. Wear a mask if you expect to enter any stores as all of them require it. Some stores have capacity limits so just be mindful of the signs at the entrances of each one. Surprisingly not crowded for a Friday morning/afternoon. Easter bunny photo op and the Easter train was operating when we visited.

This is how a play ground looks right now. I brought my 9 months and isn't a sanitized place for a crawling baby I'm here since 11 AM and not body has come to take garbage out or a least vacuum. I offer my self to do it, if someone bring me a vacuum but any maintenance show up.

Avenues Mall is now a dump. 2 major incidents in less than a week apart. This mall is now home to the hoodlums and vagrants of the area that have no remorse for human life. The mall is dirty and maintenance doesn’t clean up or fix anything anymore. It was a good run but I feel this mall is close to becoming a dead mall.

This is the only mall that is really still standing and I’m kind of upset that they are charging for an area that used to be free. I think it’s messed up and maybe instead direct traffic to that big parking lot that’s abandoned right behind the mall and maybe offer shuttle service.

There was a carnival in the parking lot during a March visit, but it's crowded at Christmas as well. I usually find some bargains and there's a plethora of food choices and snacks. Parking can get complicated but it's free.

Very nice mall! The mall itself was very clean and well kept. A wide variety of stores to choose from. I really enjoyed the variety of eateries inside. The food court has several options, but also throughout walking you can find small spots that offer a variety of things. I recommend stopping here for your shopping needs!

The Avenue saved my life on Christmas eve. Due to personal family reasons I was unable to go Christmas shopping beforehand and because the Avenues was open until 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve I was able to get all of my Christmas shopping done and a few stores such as Kay Jewelers was just so nice and pleasant to me and very helpful. I've been going to the mall for about 30 years it was built when I was in the fifth grade and I just absolutely love it.

This mall is in rough shape. Now I've been to a few malls that are in worse shape but this place is tough. First, always without a guarantee the escalators are always broke. Never a miss on that. The store selection is pretty good just missing a few key essential store. The bathroom is always a hot mess, not sure when they clean it. The food court does have a great variety of food though. This place could use some sprucing but never the less the days of brick and mortar stores are sadly dying.

The mall is still full of good stores for your shopping pleasure and a host of restaurants to satisfy your palates. Sales, Sales, Sales... IT'S HOLIDAY TIME! Lots of parking all around. Handicap spaces too, with wide opening doors. It's pretty clean and inviting... so, go and get your SHOP ON!

Seems like Simon Malls is finally trying to do something here they need to lease sections of their parking lot and get some staple businesses to draw traffic into the mall. Did see less empty stores on recent visit. The bath and body is definitely the nicest store. Box lunch is nifty .

The Avenues has a great variety of stores. Food Court is awesome! The Thai place has the best Chicken Lo Mein and Orange Chicken. I always leave with a plate from there! Very clean Mall, rest rooms are always kept up, and stocked! I never have anything bad to say about this Mall, you have to swing by if you are in the area!

Great stores! Would be a 5 if it wasn’t for the mildew/sewage/old water smell that is prominent (can’t believe more reviews don’t mention this) as well as lots of trash around the mall. Mall needs a facelift and for the smell problem to be taken care of to earn a 5 star rating, but it does have a great selection of stores as well as some activities.

Clearly the best of Jacksonville's remaining malls. Was a big boost for all my visiting family during the holidays. Everyone commented how clean, well appointed, and well staffed it seemed to be. The food court which can be a problem with many places had no issues. The holiday decor and overall feeling was exceptional. Everywhere we went we were very satisfied with what we encountered regarding selections, attitudes, and overall presentation. Our Mall from now on.

It's a mall and in these times just the fact that they stayed open is incredible. Kept most of its stores. Still doesn't have the same vibe as precovid

The Avenues playground is right in front of JC Penny and is a good indoor free option for rainy days. The carpet needs to be cleaned as it is really dirty.

Best bi-level mall I've been to since Lenox Square, and much easier to get to. I hope they find a way to expand the size to make up for the loss of Regency Square. That would definitely be worth driving down here for

Went to see Santa and it’s not the same as it used to be, Santa was not personal at all with the kids, don’t ask there names or what they want, nothing at all didn’t even talk to the kids. The photographer just snaps a couple pictures and then calls for the next person, they just want your money, it’s not about the kids at all anymore, been that way for the last 3-4 years. Also the manager was so rude when I asked why they rush you in and out and she replied “if you don’t like it then go somewhere else”. She told us that and the family behind us also

Dirtiest shopping mall in the planet! Everything is filthy, if anyone thinks I'm exaggerating please take a look in the restrooms, railings, floors, carpets, stairs. I just recognize the big effort by the cleaners at the food court trying to clean tables with couple supplies. But the other 99% of the mall IS DIRTY! Management: please give some love to the place and justify your salary, if you can't do it please hire someone who can do it better.

I usually go there to charge my Electric vehicle. GV60, I walk around sometimes as I charge the car. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the fact that I can never go there without spending a lot of money. There's always something to buy. Food is amazing! LOVE THIS PLACE

Picking up latest Build A Bear haul from my favorite store for my collection. Staff was very nice & helpful as always. I went to get all my Halloween Plushies for this season 2023. Even my favorite Pumpkin Kitty was there 🧡 My collection is growing faster these days.

The Avenues store in Jacksonville is a fantastic shopping destination. It offers a wide variety of stores and restaurants, making it a one-stop-shop for all your needs. The mall is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient, and there's a great selection of brands and products available. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, or a tasty meal, The Avenues has you covered. It's a must-visit place for both locals and tourists, providing a top-notch shopping experience in Jacksonville.

The Avenues used to be like the town center. Now it's feeling more and more like Regency did. St. John's Town Center : Avenues :: 1999 Avenues : 1999 Regency If that makes any sense. Probably doesn't if you weren't in Jacksonville in the 90s. You should have been. It was pretty awesome.

The avenues used to be very nice- it’s now hot and dirty inside. There were several places as we walked by smells of sewage; the escalators are in disrepair. The food court is so stinky and dirty and feels like it’s boiling inside I feel bad for the workers with little to no ventilation behind those food counters 😢😢

The mall itself does look a bit dated, but you don’t notice it unless you look. It’s brightly lit and clean. It’s a fairly large mall. Despite a few closed stores there’s a good variety of stores inside. It’s not a mall that has just clothes, which I like. Some of the stores include: Box Lunch, Hot Topic, Game Stop, Hallmark, and more. The food court has several mall staples. Throughout the mall there is seating, and also there is a play area for kids on the Penny’s side.

The Avenues Mall used to be my favorite place to shop but, over the years, it's become quite different and a bit lacking in variety of stores. I just don't enjoy going there like I used to. The experience is different. There is a weird unpleasant smell throughout the mall. There seems to be a better selection of food in the food court now but many of the non-chain stores come and go quickly. There are many of the usual chain stores that you normally find in malls but they are also at the St. John Town Center. If you know they have what you need, you should go but otherwise it's probably best to just go to the Town Center.

Not a great store selection. Also there must be an A/C issue. We were so hot from just how hot it is in there. Also the bathrooms soap dispensers were out of soap. The hand sanitizer stations were also either not working or not filled up. This mall is going down hill.

We always have fun here we window shop buy things and have pizza and a pretzel. We ride the train and go to our favourite stores. Most of the stores give military discount. So look for the star that has red white and blue.

Love shopping here. Always parking and stores are not too busy. Employees are nice, maybe a bit bored. The escalator going down seems to always be out of order. Food court has a large selection. And bathrooms are clean and nice

Covid testing site at the Avenues. At first, there is no sign or direction in the parking ng lot as to where to go, or if it was a test site. However, once I Established I was in the right place. The assistants and handlers we're polite, professional and efficient. I thank you for people like you.

I go here for Cars and Coffee shows once a month. This place is always clean and by far the better mall in the Jacksonville area. It is usually a one stop shop for pretty much what you need. The area around the mall is also nice enough to explore and not feel like you're about to get robbed or something.

I love what they've done with the upgrades around the mall! It also amazed me seeing the game room which reminded me of the Tilt room awhile ago. It's always clean & the stores in there are alot more pleasant than most locations.

There are a lot of stores but here are a few things I think stood out to us. 1. There is a little art gallery(the artist is from Puerto Rico) her art is amazing. We bought a print as a gift and will definitely be back to buy more to support here. Also she does art classes. Her husband is also extremely nice and so informative! 2. There is a smoothie place in this mall that is great. Near the food court! Great smoothies & just very quick especially when there was 7 people who ordered & the guy was the only one in the booth working at the time. 3. Boxlunch really cute store especially for gifts. The staff is really sweet there and answered the questions I had!

The mall has a variety of old school and new school stores that I've never heard of. However keep in mind I haven't been in a mall walking around in over a decade! Lol They had variety of food choice in food court. They only dine in restaurant I saw was Buffalo wild wings. Nice little activities for kids! A small train actually drives slowly through the mall pulling several cars which the kids can ride! There is a drop zone thingy too! A sit sports bar is in the parking lot. The food was good.

The mall needs to be remodeled it looks like it is going out of business. The roof has leaks and wet spots on it. It smells bad in here like an old dingy smell The selection of stores are horrible. The play area needs a facelift (seats need to be reupholstered.) Food court needs better choices but love the chick fil a and popeyes.

  • 5/5 Cinthya U. 1 year ago on Google
Okay, let’s start by saying this: I am a Buffalo Wild Wings fan🤗I’ve been in many many states trying their wings.(not all places are the same). This location is convenient because of the mall, food is always fresh and the service is always on point. I love their ultimate nachos and habanero wings.

Praying the Avenues doesn't suffer the same fate as Regency Square Mall. I was a mall rat here 20 years ago, and now I get to bring my kids to walk around and play! Almost better than a park, especially on those scorching hot summer days! Best of luck to the Avenues. For anyone who hasn't been there yet, There's quite an array of random yet specific stores among the familiar mall staples. For instance, an entire store devoted to hot sauce. There's something for everyone lol

Asian options at food court are not appealing to the eye and not very tasty. Fried rice wasn't well coated with seasonings. Must visit the natural soap store on the bottom level - phenomenal!! I would visit this mall again but I'd be gone by mid-day - crowd changes. Two levels; many stores to choose from.

  • 4/5 Jack L. 10 months ago on Google
This place will be like Regency in the near future. It is the same thing as everywhere else. They should come up with some kind of new cool gimmick to draw people in but I'm sure the billionaires who run this are to silly to do that.

This place has been here forever l. I grew up going here and worked in the food court in high school. Sounds so cliché, but they got an arcade back in recently and food courts got dome decent choices. Cinnabon and decent selection of stores. They got a children playground and train station. Different things to do and restaurants. Slowly getting better with time.

  • 3/5 Brett B. 9 months ago on Google
The mall is back! The food court has a great selection, and some of the big name stores are still there. Tonight it was raining and the roof leaks in quite a few spots. The lower level outside Dillard's smells, and the water that dripped on me really smelled. One of the escalators by Belk was broken, which really confused my toddler. But it's definitely the best, and only, indoor mall in northeast Florida!
