Newks is a great place to get sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza. Me personally favorite is the Newk’s Q sandwich, but it is also great in pizza form. The bread is always fresh and hot, which is great because I prefer hot sandwiches. The service is always good and the place is always clean. I wish the Mandarin location was still open too.

You order at the counter, get a number and the food is delivered to your table. I had the Greek salad (it comes dressed btw) and chicken tortilla soup. Both were good portions and fresh tasting.

Now where else can you get a great tasting sandwich, fresh and fabulous salads and scrumptious soups all under one roof.. Newks certainly answers that call. We enjoyed the half portion portabella veggie sandwhich accompanied by the Greek salad, blue cheese dressing on the side. The Turkey avocado and Greek salad combo, and the Chicken tortilla soup. Everything was fresh and tasty. Issues were tables dirty for the entire time we were there… a menu that is not totally clear when upgrading levels, the removal of the fun and yummy pickles, roasted garlic and breadstick bar and fact that one soda machine was turned off for no reason we could see at all … and no one to really ask for anything when needed. They did however help when we approached the counters to get issues fixed so 4 stars is what I landed on. Will go back and do truly like their food…

First time here and everything was delicious. We had the cheesesteak sandwich and the portabella sandwich with a salad and the pimento Mac. The pimento mac and cheese is probably the best Mac that I have ever had!! Highly recommend!

Fast and friendly service. Lots of salad choices. Reasonable prices especially for kids meal. Only con from my visit was the lack of avocado in the avocado and shrimp salad. The little avocado that was included wasn’t fresh. Had to dig around to find the shrimp.

My intention was only to peek at the menu and check out the neighboring eateries. However, once I went in, I was so enamored with the menu I was placing my order. I had the margarita pizza with cauliflower crust. It’s not like the traditional margarita pizza. It has a red sauce and only grape tomatoes. So the flavor profile is not there. And the tomatoes do not stay in place because it’s not enough surface to adhere to the cheese. So they just light off. Even though I didn’t really like the margarita pizza. I am definitely going to come back and try, some salads and soup. Even the sandwiches look good. I wish they had locations outside of Jacksonville.

Been here a few times before. Decided to go here yesterday for lunch with My Wife and step Daughter. I decided to order the Newk's Q sandwich and loaded potato soup. Both were very good. The restroom was very clean as well. We will return here again.

Delicious, Fresh Food!! Newk's does a Great job of handling volume -- Efficiently. Similar to Chik-Fil-A, Newk's operates with clearly defined processes in place, making their customers their top priority!!

First time here. Ordered half a sandwich and soup, still had food to take home. Ordered Newk's Club and loaded potato soup. Enjoyed both. Service was fast, food was good.

The prices were pretty high for such very rude and the downright nasty attitudes of the staff. I mean you charge 60.00 for two people and a baby to order from the counter, at least act a little less condescending there Karen.

Great food. The barbecue chicken pizza was amazing all toping where fresh and the five cheese mac and cheese good as well and was not dried out. The chocolate cake was very moist and was well balanced between cake and frosting. The restaurant has an interesting layout and there is a hand washing sink in the hall by the bathroom so you don’t have to go in to the bathroom . Staff was very friendly and where also very helpful.

The food is always amazing, fresh and delicious. The only issue I had was the floor was sticky and the mens room needed a good cleaning.

Tried the Caesar salad and there was so much dressing that it could not be eaten. The husband got a Greek salad and he started with decent. Both of my kids got kids pizzas and they seemed okay except for the trust me it's very soft. The person taking our order seemed annoyed at our presence and you couldn't really understand him. I will say though the entire time we were there there was someone cleaning and he never stopped and the restaurant was very clean.

Although the food and service was good there was one thing that was disturbing. It seemed a manager disrespected a cashier around 1:30pm in the afternoon. The manager placed his fingers in a plucking position and placed his hands towards plucking her in the face. Also, this same manager went outside and came back into the store from the side door and started working with food, without washing his hands. This all happened while the store was busy on a Friday.

I’m giving this one star due to the fact that when I eat in the restaurant it looks good taste good but every time I order to go it’s gross. The lettuce is brown and nasty I paid extra for avacado that was brown and today there was a hair in my food. I no longer order from here for my lunch and learns either. Someone needs to quality check their food.

First off, I'm not big on sandwiches and have yet to try one. I went for my first time and I ordered a soup and half salad. The chicken tortilla soup lacked much chicken but it was so good. I got the pasta salad also and added a little seasoning to it and it was good. The prices are about average compared to most delis in the area. I will go back and try a sandwich next time, along with that great soup.

I ordered the Chipotle Ceasar shrimp sandwich and was surprised at how much shrimp there were! It had such a great kick and flavor. The cole slaw looked a bit old, but tasted okay. The workers were friendly and my order was ready in the time frame quoted.

My kids love to eat here almost every Sunday after church. I love there lobster bisque soup. Happy tummy always!

My Wife and I went here on Sunday August 14th at about 11:30 AM. It was our first time here and we brought our mini goldendoodle with us since they had outside seating. I can tell you it was nothing short of spectacular! The atmosphere was nice, the food was delicious, the associates were friendly and overall it was just an enjoyable lunch. Probably going to make this my regular Sunday trip.

Our visit to Newk's was a pleasant surprise. I would suggest looking at the menu on-line before going, so you can see how good the dishes look, and know what you want before you get there. The menu on the wall does not do it justice. The sandwiches were served warm with on a delicious roll/bun. Mac and cheese very good. Our only problem was that the staff was like a bunch of zombies; not very friendly. Not rude, but not friendly. Some customer service training might be in order.

Absolutely phenomenal service from Mickey, she was the real star of our dining experience. She went above and beyond making our experience as newcomer's as painless possible. My partner enjoyed the French dip, and lobster bisque. Equally well suited was my italian sub, and tortilla soup; which I devoured. The tortilla soup was dense, scrumptious, filling, flavorful, hearty, and beautifully garnished. Mark this couple as return customers.
